Do the Bills have "their guy" picked out?
MAJBobby replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They will have their board. And pick against their board. Knox was a by product wasn’t “their” guy. He was the last of a group of TEs they graded well and the fall off after him was deep. That was all a need tradeup Beane even said as much. Dawkins if I remember was a glaring board standout. Had him graded a lot higher and worked to get him. Sometimes it works out got in a spot to get him. Other times it doesn’t there are many instances Beane has said he was trying to get to a spot and couldn’t make it happen. they will be true to their board. -
Virtual off season = trade pick 30?

Draft - Develop - decide on Re-sign Get used to that Mantra. That is what needs to happen after paying your QB. -
TSW Mock Draft Bills Selection Poll - Round 1, Pick 30

Until he gets concussed again and retires AGAIN. -
I have ToNet with a Mid 2nd round grade. I wouldn’t take him at 30. 62 yeah I would there.

JOK remains the best football player on the board. -
Because they go home. Parents come to games. Some still live with parents or close to home. So year family has to do with a lot.

JOK is best player on the board. -
Then they would suck at interviews explaining an opt out or not.
-
Yep easy answer. Player X “why did you opt out” player X “it was the best decision for my family, there is a global pandemic that affects everyone why add risk to my family. I understand I could have possibly hurt my draft prospects and it was painful not playing but the health of my family was the driving factor” BOOM any answer that includes Family and how it hurt not playing will convince any GM.
-
Every player that opted out was wel within their rights. Also even if they are perfectly healthy there are many instances of developing lingering conditions. See Sweeney and now the heart. they will treat all the prospects the same. Interview them and then decide on their makeup (seems they are good at doing that). Opt out or no opt out.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO. and they still don’t have a QB.

Share a story that reveals your Bills dedication

Sure. 1. Keeping Season tickets over the decade plus of despair and cheering for them on Gameday over the Seventeen years of SUCK. Trying to talk myself into you can win with Losman, Manuel,Peterman etc etc. and thinking rosters that have Keith Ellison as a Starting LBer are good enough. -
Booooooooo

With the 8th pick in the TSW mock draft your farm team the Carolina Panthers select, Trey Lance, QB North Dakota State. The Broncos @Doc Brown are on the clock. Carolina doesn’t play around and land their QB. The Dynamic Playmaker will be leading our offense. Strong Arm and good running ability. He is the prototype modern QB. Josh Allen and the Bills have shown the league you can fix the mechanical issues he has. We have found our QB for the next decade. Panthers Nation be happy.

I agree. I think they are still further away than most think. But just in terms of the process and plan I do see what they are doing. The youngest team in the NFL with a lot of Capital spread. They obviously are in better shape is Tua can prove me wrong and then use that capital to build the team. If not though they do have the capital to get another QB early. They are set up to turn around quick. Flores and Grier just have to execute. but end of day if they don’t have a QB in a couple years will have a new coach and doing it all over again

Would Josh Allen ever consider a team friendly contract?
MAJBobby replied to sirebors's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But it wouldn’t take effect until after his rookie deal meaning cap up. So 50M AAV when kicks in. -
Would Josh Allen ever consider a team friendly contract?
MAJBobby replied to sirebors's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would love for him to be the 1st player to tie his money to the Cap. 10 years 25% of Cap with 20% guaranteed -
3rd easiest schedule next year according to Mike Clay
MAJBobby replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep that is how I look at schedules as well. -
He does get a choice. He makes the roster or cut. Bills will put him on the PS with the exemption yet again. He will not be playing football this year unless he makes the team outright. If he would have thought he was ready. He could have left the IPP program at the end of last season. and for those that think being shut down again this year is unfair to him. Let me ask what is the % of players from the IPP that actually are still on teams 53 man rosters? Sitting on PS learning the game making 6 figures for 3 years is more than he would have ever seen in the UK.
