  1. Agree. They both are rather handsome looking lads. Sad thing is Smollett probably could have done better as GM.
  2. They look exactly alike. Maybe Whaley was the one who got mugged. That's why the charges got dropped.
  3. Bills need to do their homwework. Mayor Warren wore a Nike cap to welcomne kids back to school last year right after the Kaepernick ad came out. Beane must have missed that. Sure the NFL will be happy. Trade the pick!
  4. Very difficult to tell.
  5. Yes - we've had some terrible GM's. But, he seems to have a solid plan in place. We have the 4th highest cap space available this year and are projected to have the highest in 2020. He arguably got the franchise QB we needed. The fans seem engaged. If we make the playoffs this year, I'd argue that he is one of the best GM's in the league and the best since Bills GM since Polian.
  6. I'll take Buffalonians over the silicone phonies in LA any day. AB was a bad fit. Trade the jerk to Cleveland!
  7. With JJ Watt there, Clowney should have way better results. Watt gets manhandled by 2 or 3 guys every play. They can keep him.
  8. The CFL Substance Abuse Policy does not include recreational drugs - only PED's. He stated earlier that he was required to take regular lithium tests (Lithium is used in treating bipolar disorder) and go to regular counseling. I'd have to think that his suspension has to do with inability/unwillingness to follow thorough on his medication and counseling. Piling on the guy if this is the case, is bad form. https://www.cfl.ca/2015/05/05/cfl-drug-policy-glance/
  9. I'm pretty sure Kraft is rubbing his forehead and tugging at his collar. But, he ain't gonna get yanked around or tossed out. The league won't jerk with him. I wouldn't be surprised if this turned into a happy ending.
  10. New England San Diego San Francisco LA Seattle DC Denver Detroit Las Vegas Reefer is legal!
  11. I'm confused. You can tag a player who is currently under contract but not one that has no contract - right?. It looks like to me that he had $20M in hand. He didn't take the $20M and paid back $2M so he is currently at -$2M. If they tag him, then he is at $25M (going franchise rate) -$2M = $23M. Good for him. If they don't tag him.....then he is back at -$2M. So why would he be comfortable currently at -$2M (no tag) or $23M (tag)? Because Foles agent thinks there is a deal out there at more than $23M. WHO IS IT? I'm confused. Need Jethro Bodine to add me up a few naughts and power slam me through a table.
  12. I read on the interwebs that the Eagles picked up Foles $20M option. Foles then paid $2M to buy out his contract making him a Free Agent. But then I read that the Eagles planned to put the franchise tag on him to try to trade him. My question - with no contract, how can the Eagles put the franchise tag on him? I'm not familiar with how that all works.
  13. While watching the game I found myself bored of being bored.
  14. Jeez. No mention of fans power slamming each other through tables.
  15. Matt Milano had surgery on his broken leg. I'm wondering why NFL players routinely have surgery after break? Does it help heal faster/better? Searched the net and couldn't find much on the topic. I'm sure it is better and wondering, other than cost, why the average Joe doesn't get the same treatment. Is it even an option for John Q. Public? Anybody know? I haven't broken a bone in 40+ years.
  16. It's been a little quiet at OBD. Rex Rob Trump
  17. I live alone. I tried to power slam myself through my dining room table but it just wasn't the same. So I like going to the games better.
  18. No. But I still Am In Love With You. XOXOXO
  19. I'd much rather see him throw a full can of beer at Kiko. There look to be 39 rows in the lower section, a walkway, and then 17 in the upper endzone. That's a total of 58 rows. The walkway might be 10 feet wide give or take. If each row was 3 feet, then he would have to throw 58 * 3 + 10 = 184 feet or 61.3 yards. On flat ground that's a cinch for him. But if he stood at the base of the end zone wall and had to heave it 61.3 yards up 110'. I don't think so. He has a strong arm but not that strong.
  20. Gilmore's tackling was about as effective as a football bat.
  21. I was at the game. I was 27 years old and my Mom wanted to go to the game as it was blacked out in Rochester. I said ok. After the second half pick 6 I said let's get the F out of here. She talked me into staying. We were in the nosebleeds and I saw people leaving and running to try to get back in. Greatest spectacle I have ever seen.
  22. I think the biggest differences are: College - constant recruiting College - dealing with big donors College dealing with the scuzzy alumni and hanger's on who get the kids in trouble. College - Dealing with the NCAA monopoly who likes nothing better than to penalize these dumb kids with no money for scratching their butts the wrong way Pro - "me first" attitude Pro - players agents (just ask Mike Tomlin) Pro - way more complicated game planning Pro - dealing with the GM and Owner
  23. They've had a string of whack jobs there for years. It's PROFESSIONAL football. Bunch of idiots trying to play themselves out of the league.
  24. We are in BIG trouble. With Kyle’s retirement the Bills roster is void, zero, zilch of dudes names Williams on the roster. WTF? Oh how times have changed. Sincerely, Bill.
