Have you ever watched the movie Four Brothers? Remember the part where the kingpin made his partner get down and eat his meal off the floor like a dog? That seems like the appropriate way to handle it.

You just drew the dividing line amongst the fans, some will twist and turn so they can justify the handling of Peterman, while others like myself won’t. I took one look at Peterman and the first thing that came to my mind was that this kid needs a pitching mound if he wants to throw outside the hashes. I expect that professionals like Beane and McD should be making better evaluations and in doing so that would have prevented some of this mess. It’s not a lot to ask.

I know this might be mind blowing stuff but if they were able to read the Peterman situation correctly they could have signed a guy like Anderson in the offseason and had him ready to go. Not that he is a savior but I’m sure he would have looked better the first 4-6 weeks if sitting Allen was the plan.

He will never play for the Bills again. Just my guess. He looked pissed he was out there last week and spent half the game yelling at himself or others.

Few years ago I gave Uber driving a shot for some extra money, I picked up two guys from a residential address. They entered the car and smelt like they had rolled around at the local animal shelter and cleaned the floors with their faces. Turns out they are heading into work, dishwashers at the 99’. I don’t think I have been into one since that day. That smell was stuck in my nose for hours.

That’s really delusional. Each game they put out a worse QB it makes it that much harder to recruit FAs. The FA WR market is thin and the Bills have put themselves in a position that they will have to grossly overpay if they want one. It’s career suicide for a WR. The Bills need Allen to get healthy and show some promise the last month or so of the season. Paying for past year’s mistakes needs to stop but until they show something it will continue to happen. Finding an adequate backup is the equivalent of standing on a sinking ship with a water bucket.

Well that is exactly the offer I was begging them to offer Brown. A multi-year deal a little bit higher than market value but he went for the prove it deal. Assuming he continues to be productive for the rest of the season he is going to get overpaid. 3 for 21 would have been great. Paying this guy 10-13 million a year will end up looking bad for whoever chooses to do it. Look elsewhere.

You covered it pretty well. Nagy will try and use Cohen to slow punish an aggressive Buffalo D. Howard hasn’t looked great this year, he did shake off some rust at the end of the Jets games. Showed a little wiggle and had his longest run of the season. (20 something yards) Arob sat out last week, he is also hurt. I don’t think Mack plays this week.

Dawkins is the least of the problems. I’d hate to see them waste a top pick on a LT. Sign a few of those guards and then draft a mid round center and 2nd round RT. The only thing the defense needs is another edge rusher and that is the strength of this years FA class. Trade back to around number 8-10 and take the best WR. Use one of those extra picks on an elite RB in the 2nd round. Draft RT with other 2nd round pick. That formula would have Dawkins as the only remaining starter playing outside of two middle of the road FA guards and the the rooks. This would allow the Bills to add the best WR available and a top 3 RB in the draft, a top RT prospect and a top 5 guy at center from the 19’ draft. Bleh. They have the money and the picks it’s just the idea of them hitting on over half of the signings and picks.

If the Bills leave Buffalo hopefully they take Peterman with them. Other then that I’d be ok. I’d be a fantasy fan and follow players/teams I like. My 2nd favorite thing about the NFL is the Patriots losing, that would become first. Watching the Bills after Allen went down is emotionless. I was pleasantly surprised they played hard last night but at no point in time did I think they could win. When they inevitably blew it I felt nothing. Best part of the night was watching Anderson yell and B word after every incompletion. I feel like he is going to retire but I hope he comes back and gets pissed again.

Only thing that pisses me off is that my nephew followed his dad and I and loves the Bills. I feel bad about it, we live in Patriots land and that has to suck for a kid. Hopefully Allen is what Jim Kelly was for us.
