Exactly what yes referring too earlier, and now for the sister. https://www.google.com/amp/www.nydailynews.com/amp/news/national/micah-xavier-johnson-sister-defends-dallas-rampage-article-1.2704540?client=safari# Look at her post from a day before the Dallas murders. Two peas in a pod.

I see a lot of teams trying to perfect the hang time and coverage instead of giving the opposition the 25 yard line. I think the competition committee screwed the pooch with this rule change. I think that extends Gay's tenure in Buffalo unless Carp falters badly in the preseason and is replaced with a stronger legged kicker. I'm not so worried about having the best returner in the league, I just want a guy that can hold on to the damn thing.

Twitter is far worse than MSM, which says it all. Persons of influential power can speak freely and reach all the little crevasses of society. There is no disguising it as debate panels or passing it off as breaking news. Just log in, spew your opinions, and watch the masses spiral into a frenzy. Joe Blow said such and such. Oh Shiiiiiiiiit now Serena is saying it. See man I told you, things about to get lit. This is how mindless thoughts derived in zombie land end up affecting others.

What do you guys thing about the celebrities fanning the flames the past few days? Has anyone seen Jesse Williams tweets? Or Serena's? John Legend is one of the few that seemed genuinely concerned and able to remain level headed about this weeks events. Kudos to him. Sure it's easy to dismiss what's said but that's ignoring the influence they have. IMO they should be ashamed of themselves for not using their platforms in a more productive way.

Carp was money the year before, I think last year he had a reoccurring hamstring injury that hampered him. If Carpenter kicks like its 2014 then no one will bat an eye at Jordan Gay doing the kick offs. With the new rule, hang time is going to be more important than ever. As Blokes said above, when Carp is going for distance he kicks a line drive....not good. Our special teams in general are concerning, I don't like any of the returner options we have and I'm not expecting Easley back for the start of the season. He was one of the best gunners in the league last year.

A woman in custody? camouflage bags? Hmm seems like something other than some angry BLM people gone of the hinges.

Andre Johnson wants a shot
CommonCents replied to KollegeStudnet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When Shady was younger with less mileage he would have outrun this Andre Johnson thread. Johnson looked toast last year, we have a handful of younger guys to compete for a roster spot I don't see the fit. -

Way too early preview-Bills vs Ravens

From the depth chart I saw they moved Webb to safety? He is a good player, just never stays healthy. On the outside they have Jimmy Smith and Kyle Arrington, neither are overwhelming. -

MMQB Profile of Marquise Goodwin
CommonCents replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The hate has been a little over the top for Goodwin but it looks like he stirred the pot a bit with some of his recent comments. Until then the discussion was mostly about Goodwin and his obligation too the team and his contract. A borderline player with an extensive injury history and juggling offseason commitments would have been better served biting his tongue in that presser. Karlos got lazy while tending to his pregnant wife and ate himself into a dad bod. That is relatable for average fans which is unlike Goodwin's story. Karlos also hasn't said anything inflammatory towards the fans and it hasn't even been 10 months since we watched him play for us. When I think about Karlos I think of a hard running kid with a soft head. When I think of Glass I see a side talking car salesman who will always be hurt returning to work after a company softball game. -
Starting to get excited, our draft is on August 27th. A ten team- one keeper league with standard format. Is your draft planned yet? What format are you using this year? I saw this article pop up while at work, it's not great though he doesn't have Freeman listed in his top 20. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/fantasy-football-rb-rankings-2016-122148550.html

NBA/Golden State Warriors thread

Good for KD, if the NBA let's players recruit each other and form super teams it's their fault not his. He wants to win and he is going to do exactly that. -
NBA/Golden State Warriors thread
CommonCents replied to Maury Ballstein's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It would be a new model, can you win with elite defense in a league that doesn't allow much contact? Celts have some of the better young defenders in the league. Bradley, Crowder, and Smart are all above average on the defensive end. With the addition of an elite scorer in Durant and a solid big guy in Horford I could see them creating problems for teams. Could they beat the Cavs if Lebron and Kyrie play as well as they did in the finals? I doubt it, but I dont think OKC could either. Would Kyrie go off like that if Smart and Bradley are rotating on him? I highly doubt it. If the NBA is going to continue to let teams be physical in the later rounds of the playoffs that could be an equalizer for a young and aggressive Celts team. Probably have a better chance of winning the mega millions than Durant coming here but it's made for a fun weekend so far. -

Brady helping recruit Durant, as much as I hate that ass clown I have to give him props. Spending time recruiting on a holiday weekend for one of the wealthiest men walking the planet. Can you cheat at recruiting? If so Tom is all over it. During the entire process I have never actually considered KD coming to Boston. After the OKC run in the playoffs I was sure that the concept was just a dream. Here I sit...waiting....for the decision. Maybe it's the beers but I feel like something is brewing. -
Who's Your Surprise Starter for 2016?
CommonCents replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have, in college. I'm pretty sure I indicated that I had no idea how his offseason was going and implied that I was basing my prediction off his physical ability not his NFL production. Let's face it he is competing with a pile of misfits, he had a chance to resurrect his once promising career. That is where I'm putting my money. -

Chain Gailey best OC. Rex Ryan best DC. Now we just need to find a HC.
