  1. Party in Winterfell Sunday night, any unexpected guests? I'm thinking Pod and Brienne make it in time. Who else do you expect to show up?
  2. It seemed that a Draymond suspension was inevitable the way he played throughout the playoffs that's not my complaint. He is a knucklehead, he is lucky that he will only miss one game this entire postseason for the antics. My complaint is that the NBA's discipline and referring often reminds me of playing car racing games at the arcade, as soon as you get a sizable lead the trailing car gets a speed boost to catch back up.
  3. No the league reviewed the play and changed it to a flagrant 1 for Draymond which lead to the suspension. If it was just a technical he would have still needed one more to earn the same 1 game suspension. Yes I see you fixed the original post, that's correct. The inconsistency comes when the Lebron play gets a flagrant 1 which the league knows = one game. For anyone that saw the play against Adams that clearly deserved a game discipline at minimum, heck they suspended Dante Jones for a slap to the same region a few days earlier. They have detailed disciplinary guidelines but they navigate them for what best suits the league. That's sloppy.
  4. When you have a segment of the world's population dedicating their lives too destruction in the name of Allah that's always going to garner more attention than a random nut job going off the deep end. I don't think it's that hard to figure out.
  5. What does building a space ship have to do with trying to stop people that have nothing to lose? They don't value their own lives, they are brainwashed-demented individuals who find defenseless targets. You can maintain your values while building a space program, you can't do that while attempting to control terrorism. We still have a leader who hasn't publicly acknowledge the source of the problem never mind him giving approval of getting our hands dirty.
  6. The NBA has been inconsistent with the Draymond, they didn't suspend him when GS was against the wall vs. OKC for a more egregious foul, now that Cleveland is cooked medium well they decide to suspend Draymond which may extent the series. Bad look. Be consistent. Lebron knew he would get a reaction when he walked over Draymond, every kid at that playground knows it's something you don't do. Of course it's smart to do though if you have a hot head one foul away from a suspension. Congrats Lebron that's the most clutch thing you have done in a few years, don't get cooked up by a short handed Warriors team or you will be joke of the summer.
  7. What is their record on claiming attacks? I don't remember any false claims but i would guess they would have made some? Either way as this **** storm continues Churchill looks smarter and smarter.
  8. Isis also claimed responsibility for the attack in the past few minutes, that also could just be an attempt to get headlines.
  9. Same speech different location. Garbage.
  10. Someone give me the odds on Obama mentioning gun control in his upcoming speech.
  11. +1 Reading MCLefty's pathetic retorts only made it worse. How far up your ass do you have to put you head to regurgitate the same old talking points a few hours after 50 defenseless people got slaughtered. Go slap yourself in the nuts.
  12. They have a bunch of WW2 planes a few miles north of me up in NH, just saw "Fifi" land which is an original B-29. They also have a lot of her supporting cast with her, wish I knew how to upload cell phone pics on here!
  13. The Darby train goes Choo Choo! With a year under his belt and another offseason of preparation Darby is heading towards being a top 5 corner.
  14. Why's Lebron walking over a guy like that? Looked like frustration got the better of him.
  15. Haha I have a similar problem with a (*^*&%^$^#riding up full speed on my lady and I while we jog. It's like he wants to see how close he can get, the trail is plenty wide. I could care less if it was just me, this guy must be 40-45, old enough to know better. Thoughts already exist in my mind to forearm shiver this idiot into the river, this thread don't help. Cyclists are half wits, do they understand why the rest of us run/walk etc...we don't want to ride up 26382920 peoples asses just to get a workout. I don't want to see 30 miles of people everyday just to break a sweat.
  16. Well you better get Chef Curry on the next plane to Cleveland or this is going longer than 5! Let Steph out of the kitchen!!
  17. 1200-1300 yards? 4.4 X 300 = 1320. I don't think so, even if by some miracle he played all 16 games he would be hard pressed to get that amount of carries. RBBC seems to be the approach and Karlos is going to get his fair share along with TT. Look at how our schedule shakes outs vs. run defenses. Last year we played the NFC East, the entire division was in the bottom 3rd in the league against the rush. This year we get the NFC west and AFC north, Seattle has held opponents under 4 YPC for the past three seasons, Arizona has allowed an average of roughly 4.0 YPC for the past three seasons. In total we play 8 games vs. top ten rush defenses this upcoming season. Things change from year to year but if you dig through the stats the majority of these teams are tough against the run year in and year out. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/rushing/position/defense FWIW, fantasy guys should try to avoid drafting RBs from the AFC east this year and temper their expectations on backs from the NFC West. Tough sledding.
  18. I put a link up a few replies back in which Marshawn dispels the rumors that he hasn't spent any of the money he received from NFL contracts.
  19. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/all-about-that-discount--boss--marshawn-lynch-is--cheap-135259563.html Not sure if that has been shared yet. Marshawn explaining things in his own crazy way.
  20. I wasn't bashing the pick or the logic behind it. The notion was being passed around that Shaq was playing at 70 percent for the past 3 seasons in college and that post surgery he is going to be even better. Shaq did make the comment in a fluff interview with Murphy...still it wouldn't make sense for him and Clemson to ignore an injury that was sapping his talent. I linked when the shoulder originally popped out 3 years ago from the teams website, he never missed a game or practice with it. He played at a high level with it and heading into the NCG any common observer was worried about his knee and never heard a whisper about his shoulder. The entire situation from date of injury until date of surgery is foggy, the Bills took a calculated risk let's see how it plays out. I actually like Shaq the injury sucks, but I find it odd some fans need to treat it as a blessing in disguise. If the young man can return to the field the same way he left it the time missed will be long forgotten. Early in the draft process I coined Lawson the anti-Mario because of his effort level and passion he displays for the game. Check the history if you must!
  21. Oh well I said it was a major surgery for Lawson and got nitpicked for it. It's safe to say all estimates are that he is going to be unable to do his job for 5-6 months. That's major. We are discussing Shaq Lawson, not me. Pick a surgery that would put you out of work for the better part of a year and classify it. I'm done.
  22. So if Sammy goes down your confident in Woods and Listenbee? Sounds like a dramatic drop off to me. Listenbee might not even be on the 53.
  23. Harvin when healthy was light years above anything we have now. You have faith that Robert Woods is going to be a consistent down field threat against #1 corners? He gets smaller the further down the field he goes. Anything other than Woods is largely underwhelming when you consider them as a 2nd WR.
