This whole Baylor thing reminds me of Friday Night Lights and how High School football enrages Texans, I imagine College is only worse.

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/wild-wide-receiver-cut-prediction-041225936.htmlThis would be a good fit. I didn't miss his point, it doesn't matter where your drafted if your cut and without a team your a street FA. The other poster said we have a mix of UDFA's and street FA's, that is accurate. Did Hankerson, Little or Boykin finish the year on an NFL roster? Not to my knowledge. Hankerson was cut by Atlanta and NE last year. -

FWIW's Brady went 8-11 in 11 on 11 drills as did Jimmy G. for today's practice. I know many people have compared our new policy to theirs, will we still be getting that same information then? -

Like that time Danny Shelton smashed him and we got to see it over and over again on a vine? I would have been embarrassed too. -
It will be a lot more than two thousand, I am sure he is still going to get cut a check.

He has hype at the NFL level?

No you guys can continue your back and forth, draft position/UDFA does not mean much once your recycling players. We don't have a sure fire 3 WR but the strategy looks pretty clear...they are going to cycle through a bunch of guys in hopes one steps forward. If no one does I'd expect them to bring in a veteran on a short term deal to fill the void. -

That's really the juice in the fruit, if your giving the media access then let them do their job and let the fans decide who they get their information from. No need to play big brother and limit what's said, the fans are smart they know who is worth reading or listening too. -

Don't kid yourself Bandit, the hardest part of being an NFL GM is getting into the fraternity. Times have changed a plenty, the days are long gone when GM's and scouts could find value because players lack exposure. People like yourself and a few others on here that put in the time and effort could do just as well as many of these GM's do in drafts. They have one distinct advantage as you have mentioned, they get to know the players and can better evaluate their personalities and how that may or may not affect them as professionals. Whaley and this scouting staff is a prime example...they draft big time prospects from big time schools and haven't done anything outside of that and are still around the league average. You could do that and never leave your office. This was meant as a compliment and to diminish the notion that GM's are smarter than the average bear. Sincerely Ryan Grigson -

I think that is the most likely scenario, the only thing that can beat OKC is themselves. Maybe they get tight after a loss in GS and stop sharing the ball with the role players? I doubt it, but that has been their Achilles heel in the past. -

Yeah that 4th foul ended any hope they had, I don't think it mattered though. OKC looks fresher and more determined, if they make the finals I hope they play like this vs. Cavs/Raps. They are special when they share the ball. They better find him back in Cali or it ends Thursday! -

Look at the link that 26 posted a few replies back then look at Manziel a few months back. That is a pretty dramatic change. -

Wow, looking like hard drugs taking the toll. No idea what he is on but he would be getting called "cracky" around these parts. Sad to see, I have lost a handful of friends and family to addiction/suicide. It's almost like you want to scream at his parents to just subdue him and get him to detox but we all know it's never that easy. Yikes. Hopefully he bottoms out before he reaches the point of no return. -
RD 6, Pick 218: CB Kevon Seymour, USC
CommonCents replied to MattM's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Seymour can play anything close to the level of Robey in the slot I'm making that switch. The height difference alone will make a world of difference when he has to help with a tight end or larger receiver. Kevon is 6'0, Robey is only 5'8. I love Robey but how many times have we seen him lose to height even when his coverage is good. -

I think it's not that at all. Naturally all of the ex-players who are now commentators and journalists are going to flame him and defend the game. I'm sure your well versed on the CTE dilemma the league is facing and many believe that puts the future of the game in doubt. So having a high profile NFL employee, 1/32, a general manager whom is in charge of employing Humans to play the game...a misstep like that is not only sloppy I'm sure some in the legal office would say it hurts their cause going forward. I'm sure we all agree he mix matched words and didn't get his point across the way he intended, but word for word he put something out there that shouldn't be.
