  1. Jogging hurts your knees when you spent 4 months eating, drinking and being lazy. Ouch.
  2. Whatever they ask Hughes to do he does it 110 miles an hour, he was great as a DE two years ago but the whole front was great with JS. I'm not sure that is a good enough sample size to say he is better strictly as a DE opposed to being an OLB. He will still have plenty of chances to go forward and his ability to run with anyone makes him a valuable chess piece. As most discussions go around here, his productivity will be dependent upon the entire unit putting forth a better effort and some tightening of the screws from Rex and company.
  3. Just finished episode 4 of season 2, it's all over the place. Maybe it's just my brain after a long weekend.
  4. As a few have said Goodwin is a threat when healthy, he can get off the line and go which most speedsters struggle with. Goodwin can win at the line. I wonder if they can be creative enough to keep him outside the numbers and preserve his health. Even if you limit his routes he is by far the best option to draw safety help away from 14.(Unless Listenbee makes a huge leap). Use Woods and a Boykin, Salas, Little to utilize the middle of the field. They are all interchangeable and an injury to one of them has less overall impact. W/O Harvin on the roster Goodwin is the game breaker, outside of that we have a late round draft pick who is going to need time.
  5. Does it really make a difference if they had heard from him? As a boss I'd be pissed, as a fan I think most of us knew he would most likely be out for the immediate future if not indefinitely. Don't make a damn of a difference to me if he won't call the blowhards back.
  6. Sharks D is unreal, my guess would be its over in 5.
  7. I'm hearing big things are going down tonight!!
  8. I agree, the time table is what prompted me to do some additional research. You did make a good point, the front office would have been quick to dispel the rumors of a Jones Fracture if it wasn't the case. As you mentioned above its hard to see Sammy playing a full season coming off this, which blows. This injury is far more concerning to me personally than Shaq's, hopefully the surgeons experience dealing with Julio injury leads to more success with Sammy's recovery. (Same surgeon, also alarming).
  9. Shaq and Chuck still killing him
  10. I wonder if that affects them going into game 7. It was right in front of them and they couldn't get it together. Iggy stripped Durant twice and then Westbrook on 3 consecutive possessions. Ouch.
  11. Cheers* It's shaping up to be a fun one to watch.
  12. 1 2 Steph's coming for you 3 4 should have closed the door 5 6 Westbrook's laying bricks 7 8 it's getting late 9 10 GS wins again
  13. Everyone loves the Skyway System in Minny. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minneapolis_Skyway_System
  14. How many burgers do two Ryan brothers eat on Memorial Day weekend?
  15. If your going to jump into the middle of a conversation read the whole thing. I said some posters blamed the front office and that RR gave them a fair effort.
  16. In fairness Bogut played really well, that kept GS from trying to go small and get manhandled again.
  17. Greg Bedard said much the same after breaking down our games vs. the Patriots last year. Hopefully another offseason and some personnel changes make the difference. It was a radio interview so I'd have to hunt for w link. He said Ryan was limited with looks and formations and the D was a shell of what he was accustom to seeing in NY. (Keep in mind he was breaking down Jets/Pats games during RR tenure).
  18. It's alarming that his defense had the same problems as Rex's did last year. It's also worth mentioning that it's all the Saints fault and not his. Wasn't he brought in to help with the pre snap communications? He didn't even have his D on the same page in his 3rd year with the Saints? No your right, it's not a big deal it's much the same.
  19. I'm not judging either way, the Saints defense was very good to my fantasy team so as far as I'm concerned RR did great. He should probably pipe down though and stop talking about his former team. Prove your worth in Buffalo and everyone will love you, stop telling us about how great you are and show us. Do we really need a glorified positions coach blustering in May?
  20. So Sean Peyton's opinion on his former DC is not to be trusted, the fans who are harping on the same mistakes Peyton referenced are also not to be trusted. If you read the responses no one was hating on RR a few blamed the front office and said RR made a fair effort. Others talked about similar issues we have had with Rex, the reference to the amoeba front sounds spot on.
  21. I bet the Saints fans have a better understanding? Multiple posters referencing problems with formations, knowing assignments and having the correct number of players on the field. http://saintsreport.com/forums/f2/sean-payton-coming-up-pft-355577/#.V0iR5Oz3anM
  22. Brown was a sixth round pick.
  23. I'm not sure Durant and Westbrook did themselves any favors by laughing off Steph in the post game presser.
