  1. Tied with Jim Kelly for the most playoff wins by a quarterback who did not win the Super Bowl, with 9. The record for most playoff wins by a quarterback before eventually winning his first Super Bowl is held by John Elway, with 10. Wikipedia still don't see him earning a gold jacket.
  2. 5 things to know about Buffalo Bills rookie Ed Oliver Many among Bills Mafia were surprised that Ed Oliver, a player many considered to be a top-five pick, fell to the team at No. 9 overall. After dominating AAC competition at the University of Houston for three seasons and ranking as their best recruit ever as a five-star, the defensive lineman found himself in Western New York, on a team that will use his services well. 1. He’s raw, but he should make an impact day-one At this point, we know Oliver is an athletic marvel, and he was used correctly at college, yet remained productive. But, he’s raw. He needs to learn how to disengage blocks on a more timely fashion, and his only pass-rushing move appears to be a bull-rush. However, that doesn’t mean he won’t be effective early on. Oliver should make an impact for the Bills as an interior run-stuffer immediately. His unusual combination of power, quickness, and flexibility will make him a match up nightmare for offensive guards and tackles alike. Frankly, his run-stuffing should be able to translate well immediately.
  3. don't worry, it WILL be unfounded worry on your behalf.

  9. These AFC Rival Quarterbacks Are Training Together in the Offseason Josh Allen and Sam Darnold have been friends for several years. They've attended camps together, worked out together, and even lived together while both were training and preparing for the NFL Draft last year with QB Coach Jordan Palmer. "It's a good, friendly relationship to have," he said this week. "But at the same time, we want to compete and just to make each other better, and that was kind of our goal in the offseason." They won't have to wait long to play each other and renew acquaintances this season. The Jets host the Bills week one. Josh Allen aims to improve accuracy during offseason Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen said during organized team activities on Tuesday that his focus this offseason is going to be on the most critiqued area of his game, his accuracy. “Consistently, delivering the ball where it needs to be. Ball placement is huge, especially in this league,” Allen said. “That is something that will never change, you always want to try to work on ball placement. Every day you come out, it’s kind of a new thing and sometimes the ball comes out of your hand a little bit differently. You have to make adjustments and understand what your body is trying to tell you and try to go with it.”
  10. funny how a JA thread turned into defense and sacks?
  11. The first three sessions will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week. However, Tuesday is the only day the media will be allowed to watch and report on what’s happening. Afterward, Bills head coach Sean McDermott, quarterback Josh Allen, and other players will be made available to the media. After this week, the remaining seven OTA sessions will take place on May 28, 29, and 31, as well as June 3, 4, 6, and 7. Bills begin OTAs, the final offseason phase before training camp
  12. well done. I'm hoping, as most bills fans, allen makes strides from the unknown and placed with the franchise guys. not concerned about his completion % like some. I believe in his all around competitiveness and strength, something special about the kid. call me a homer, I don't care.
  13. it doesn't. however this is an NFL board so there's that. Discussing the Buffalo Bills and the NFL 24 hours a day since 1998! as for the OP's question, no, no he doesn't belong in the hof.
  14. question: does his having those chances have any burden on you, personally? if not, then life is full of chances and I don't believe anyone should put a limit on those chances. I know, you know and most everyone else knows the kid just doesn't cut it but, it seems gruden and the raiders felt they would give him another chance. the day someone tells me I have no more chances, better be after I have taken my last breath. not trying to dog you, just seemed a little extreme to say the kid DOESN'T deserve another chance.
