  1. most important of the season imo. it will set the tone going in to the season. a win against a division opponent as well as a road victory. a loss would not be detrimental but may prove to be the game that kept them from getting in to the post season or any chance of winning the division. I believe the first game of the season is a game this team needs to win.
  2. 2019 Buffalo Bills scouting report: guard Quinton Spain 2019 Offseason: Spain has participated in all of Buffalo’s offseason activities to date. He missed practice on August 1 due to an ankle injury, but it wasn’t serious enough to sideline him for the following night’s Return of the Blue and the Red scrimmage. 2019 Season outlook: Spain will be Buffalo’s starting left guard this year, at least if the way reps have been divided is any indication. He appears to be the second-safest member of the line, with only Mitch Morse more firmly entrenched in his job. The job is Spain’s to lose. Cole Beasley says Josh Allen's struggles are on Bills WRs “It wasn’t too bad today. A lot of it wasn’t his fault. A lot of it was us (receivers) being too sloppy,” Beasley said via NYUP.com. “That happens sometimes after a day off. You just gotta be more consistent for him (when we’re) running routes and make great decisions for him. He’s doing a heck of a job. “It’s really on us. There’s nothing he’s doing bad. He’s a great quarterback and he’s slinging it out there. We just have to be better for him,” Beasley added.
  3. I agree with all of this. very well put and hit the nail on the head.
  4. maude, grab my alka seltzer...I can't believe I ate the whole thing.
  5. I'm in the taking guns away wont stop the killings crowd. I don't believe changing gun laws will stop a lunatic from killing you. if they want to kill and have no guns, they'll use explosives, knives, rope, gasoline or whatever means they find to kill you. this will not change anytime soon, as a matter of fact I would bet it's going to get much, much worse. it's a society thing, not a gun thing. society through mainly social networking, media, news outlets, ect have corrupted this society in many ways and seems the minds of some are getting weaker and more vulnerable to violence and violent acts. some seem to just feed on it. also, the media has sensationalized these killers to the point that the demented mind wants attention and no better way to get it then to walk in to a walmart and blow away 20 people. had the kid not had a gun, he would of used bombs, either way, it was his intent to kill. no matter what was used he was killing people, regardless. this wont end. it will get much worse. much, much worse. you can't really take being safe anymore for granted and even a trip to walmart could prove to be the last thing you do on this earth.
  6. rome wasn't built in a day. next off season should also continue to add the needed (addressed past 2 off seasons-QB, OL,TE, RB) pieces to the offense. Elite receivers in 2020 NFL Draft fit perfectly in timeline of the Buffalo Bills This team is close to getting back to becoming real contenders in the AFC. Landing a legitimate number one target in the passing game just might be the final piece that could take them over the top.
  7. Top 3 things to know about the Return of the Blue & Red practice 1. Zay Jones finds rhythm in passing game Zay Jones’ night did not get off to a great start. He had a shot at a tough 30-yard pass from Josh Allen, but couldn’t come up with it as it was contested by safety Dean Marlowe. “It was a great look by him over here able to scramble out of the pocket and find me deep,” said Jones. “It was a tough catch. It’s one I know I can make. It was difficult. It wasn’t routine. I went up and did my best to bring it down, but I had an awkward fall and Dean Marlowe made a good play on it.” Four plays later, Jones couldn’t hang onto a short pass near the right sideline, but the third-year receiver was determined to redeem himself. “Next play we went back into the huddle and I said, ‘I got this one,’” said Jones. “Kind of telling him, give me this one. So he found me on the next play and got me a nice, easy catch.” 3. Lineup notes With a good number of veterans getting rest days like LeSean McCoy, Lorenzo Alexander, John Brown and Ty Nsekhe, it afforded others the chance to get more reps in team segments of practice. Among the beneficiaries were Cody Ford, who moved back in at starting right tackle after Nsekhe replaced him in practice Thursday. With Mitch Morse (concussion protocol) and Spencer Long (knee soreness) sidelined, Russell Bodine continued as the starting center with Jon Feliciano the starting right guard. Quinton Spain returned from a foot injury to man his starting left guard position.
