hard for me to compare JA to anyone at this point. maybe after a few seasons after he has developed. not comparing JA to JE but had to add that JE had a pretty rough rookie season as well.

I never defended him. what I did say was "good thing you're not a cop" simply because he's not dead. he lives another day, lucky, but still lives. I also stated that it would be wise to follow orders, another good way to live to see another day.

key word, if. lets just say it's a good thing you're not a cop. I know that there will be and are times of justification where they may need to unload a clip on a suspect but it seems to me, the mentality has gone over board with cops (I know, some cops are being killed too) where they seem to have become trial/judge/convicter all in one with shooting first and asking questions later. it is wise in these times to follow orders when dealing with trigger happy cops.

for those willing to haggle with them, I've never paid the full price for my internet/cable provider. I always get a promotion deal and was even told by one of the agents a few years back while haggling to contact them a month before said promotion is about to expire, sign up for another one. meanwhile there are folks out there that will just pay the price and in most cases, I'm paying nearly half for the same service. I can dig that.

the only thing good out of this, is that the kid didn't have that little cop unload his clip on him and actually, I'm very surprised he didn't. when I say good, I mean the percentage has to be very high now that you take a bullet or 9 when resisting like that. especially when they grab for the cops piece, he's a very lucky, yet stupid young man obviously intoxicated.

even as much as JA is judged and seen by some to not be the answer due to his inaccuracy, he is the very reason I have any optimism at all. sure, the defense may be stout but it's been too long since this team has had a leader at the QB position and one whom I believe has all the potential to lead the offense to success. 10 wins? the last time this team had a double digit win season was 1999, 20 years ago. they need to reach double digit wins, this season. it was bad enough having to live 17 years without seeing the post season but going past 20 years without double digit wins will seem worse to me. the 20 year streak of single digit win seasons need to come to an end, it's time to compete!
