Mark Rypien Facing Domestic Violence Charge

it did say "first sign" that the bills were going to be blown out, not the sole reason? goes further to say The game didn't get much better for Thomas following the gaffe. He rushed for just 13 yards on 10 attempts as the Bills fell behind the Washington Redskins, 24-0, early in the third quarter. Kelly had an awful day, too. He threw four interceptions, two coming deep in Bills territory, that eventually turned into Redskins touchdowns. He also had two of Buffalo's incredible six fumbles, was sacked five times, and even caught a pass for a loss of eight yards. James Lofton had the best game for Buffalo, catching 7 passes for 92 yards all I know, is out of the four superbowls, the redskins defeat was the most frustrating for me. -

had to look it up! The first sign that the Bills were going to be blown out by the Redskins in Super Bowl XXVI: starting the game without their future Hall of Fame running back for the weirdest of reasons. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2014/6/20/5818634/thurman-thomas-helmet-worst-moments-in-bills-history -

from the article “If somebody calls me today and says, ‘hey, you need to fly out …,’ I’m ready to play,” he said. “Physically, I’m ready to play — I’m probably in some of the best shape I’ve ever been in. But mentally, I’ve been more mature than I’ve been in years, and I think that’s the most important part. “Being a true professional is something I had an issue with. And I had time to step away from the game of football and learn how to be that. I think it’s going to benefit me in the long run, whether I’m playing or coaching or training. I’m more mature to handle the professional side of life.” THIS, admittedly, isn’t exactly how Williams drew it up. If it was up to him, he’d be entering his fifth year of ripping off 26-yard, untouched TD runs for the Bills. Williams went from signing a $750,000 NFL rookie contract to making $700 a week in his current job, he told his audience Tuesday night. But if the aftermath of his mistakes can continue to mold him in the way it has, and if he can deliver a meaningful message to a room full of people along the way, then his experiences will have been worth it. “I have a new appreciation for who I am,” said Williams, who noted how impressed he was with how “tight-knit and dedicated” the Allegheny community seemed to be. “Just little things like this today. “Everybody said I did a great job, and I was nervous; but to them, I did a great job, and it was just a stepping stone. Maybe I’ll do more of these.” He added: “To tell my story and have people relate to my story, and to help them overcome things they’ve been through — maybe obstacles bigger than mine — that’s more important to me than anything in this world.”

Top 20 Superbowl Era Coaches - Ranking Index
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't quite understand the ranking system your using, I guess it's based off points/wins? but as for the bills coaches, I would rank them based off championships and Lou has two back to back afl championships. -

I was off a bit on what he had said, close. seen the movie a few times since it's release 32 years ago. I recommend seeing it -
unless it happens in the next few years, I know I wont see it. if things don't take a drastic turn, I've read somewhere we have about 30 years? edit: The End of Civilization May Begin in Just 30 Years of course as we all know, don't believe everything you read on the internet, right?

the untouchables was a great movie with a hell of a cast. his role was not large but I remember it well. I have not went and looked up quotes from the movie but I know he told costner that he cut his buddy and he bled like a stuck pig, something like that. of course, he met his demise, it was a long way down. -
PFF says Bills still suck
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
between PFF, this macgyver character up there, the mighty ronin and not to leave out old sotier yes, I am totally convinced the bills still suck and will always suck. kind of like the off season around here sucks, it all sucks. I'll do more then take my ball home, hell, I'm just going to end it all because well, the bills still suck... I hate the off season with a passion.
