In the silk sheet of time I will find peace of mind Love is a bed full of blues

The man of the hour Has an air of great power The dudes have envied him for so long Oh, superfly You're gonna make your fortune by and by But if you lose, don't ask no questions why The only game you know is do or die

To those of the mind 'maybe Laundrie didn't do it', have you seen this development (link below)? A guy went missing sometime around August 23 in the same area. They found his body around 40 miles from where they found Gabby. Police are saying they found the body due to tips from the Gabby case (plausible) and the two deaths are unrelated. I still firmly believe that Laundrie did it, not so convinced that the deaths are unrelated. https://nypost.com/2021/09/29/gabby-petito-search-uncovers-another-missing-persons-remains/ BTW, Throw in the two women murdered in Moab and I'm starting to question whether a vacation to the National Parks is safer than a vacation to Chicago.

What's up with the whitespace in the letter "d"?

Bucs at Patriots - How to Process this Game
SinceThe70s replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A minute into the game both teams get caught cheating. The game is declared a forfeit and the Brady/Pat fans are sent home early and unhappy. -
I heard Josh fought on when Stefon was downed in Call of Duty recently. The honeymoon is over and all hope of a Super Bowl is lost.
-
Has Darnold been ruined? Or did the Jets waste their opportunity with him? Seems like he's doing OK in Carolina.

Rookie Josh Allen vs Rookie Zach Wilson
SinceThe70s replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have zero love for the Jets and as an organization I wish nothing but the worst for them. But Boy Band has been set up to fail. Jets didn't even bother to have a vet QB on the roster to act as a mentor. He's being fed to the NFL wolves. Regrettably his QB coach was tragically killed while riding a bike this past summer. And say what you want about the Jets OL but they've been without Becton who by all accounts looks like a beast. Comparing Boy Band's rookie year to Josh's doesn't seem fair to me. -
Could be. But I feel like there was a similar quote from Thurman in the Four Falls.
-
Only when they have it coming to them. So yeah, pretty much every day.
-
Wasn't Thurman quoted that when he got drafted he thought Buffalo was close to NYC? I live on Lawn Guyland and for years whenever someone asks me where I'm from I never say NY because the assumption is NYC.

I'm emotionally invested as well - doesn't mean that I need to be privy to info that might ultimately jeopardize a capture, arrest or conviction. Why are you, I and others are so emotionally invested in this case? @Just Jack boiled it down to "cute young blond girl" and I think there's a lot of truth to that. What also drew me in was the pictures from national parks where it looked like they were having the time of their life and enjoying it together. I've been to some of those parks and the others are on my bucket list.
-
JMO, but you and I don't have a need to know. From the perspective of building a case against this d-bag (and maybe his parents) there's no value in releasing info unless they have to.

I wonder what the legal requirement is to release an autopsy report in a murder case.
-
I like the arrest warrant for unauthorized credit card use. Presumably it was her card and he used it after the coroner's estimated time of death. So now (if they find him) they have a federal charge that can be used to ask him what he knows about her without tipping their hand about what they know about the murder. IMO, the murder charge won't come until they know they have him.

I'll be with you girl Like being low Hey, hey, hey like being stoned

Doctor Doctor, gimme the news I got a bad case of lovin' you
-
Yeah, I get your point of view, part of me would be very happy if they found him with a bullet in his head or better yet half eaten by an alligator. My hope about him being captured alive had to do with me wanting to know wtf happened - which is 100% inconsequential - and thinking her family might want to know wtf happened

I used to read a lot, not so much recently so these are probably dated. Tom Clancy was my favorite but his books required an investment in time. I read them out of sequence which was OK, they all stand on their own. Without Remorse was a fave. On the other hand Nelson DeMille was usually an easy read with a great story. When I finished a DeMille book I couldn't wait for the next, when I finished a Clancy book I needed some time off
-
That's where I'm at right now. But wtf do I know? I do hope they find him alive.
-
The other thing that I saw reported - and I take everything I read with a grain of salt - is that he's a guy that's capable of living off the grid for at least a few weeks. My current thinking is he's alive and the parents helped. A few days ago I thought he probably offed himself. By the time the Bills frogstomp the Redskins I'll probably think something else.
-
For unauthorized use of a credit card. Seems like a safe bet it was her card and it was used after the medical examiners estimated time of death.
