  1. Does it bother either of you that this is about Gruden and what we actually know came from an NFL investigation and the info they chose to leak? For the record I didn't drop in here to defend Gruden, but since the NFL cracked the door open I think it's fair game to see what else is behind the door besides what they chose to reveal. If there's nothing to hide that shouldn't be an issue.
  2. Beer and Cheerios never appealed to me but I guess I could get used to it.
  3. That was great, the OSU marching band is amazing. Here's one from a few years back that's worth a watch for the walking Frankenstein, a pinball machine and smashing a guitar:
  4. Silver train is a comin' Think I'm gonna get on now, oh, yeah
  5. Fun fact: Geno will be the first QB besides Wilson to start a game for the Seahawks since 2012. Wilson had a streak of 149 consecutive starts. This falls short of 2017 when Geno was the first QB besides Eli Manning to start a game for the Giants since 2004. Eli had a streak of 210 consecutive starts at the time.
  6. Was the email leaked or just the one line from the email? I clicked on a few different links and only found the one line.
  7. I didn't see it live but the steal of home last night was outstanding. Why more teams don't exploit the shift is beyond me.
  8. Just, get me to the airport, put me on a plane Hurry hurry hurry, before I go insane I can't control my fingers, I can't control my brain
  9. Has this been mentioned anywhere? I just noticed that last year we played Titans/Chiefs week 5 and 6 and this year it's Chiefs/Titans same weeks. Odd coincidence, let's hope it goes better this season
  10. Goldfinger He's the man, the man with the Midas touch
  11. Are you booing me? Because I can't have that.
  12. It's refreshing that NE is no longer first on the list.
  13. I've been watching with bemusement. My baseball team had a booing controversy that got me pretty amped up a month or two ago. I got over it but I understand the emotion with this one - and the Covid aspect of the Beasley boos ratchets the emotion up a notch.
  14. 33 pages in suggests to me he's not the only one off their rocker with this thing
  15. Circles and rings, dragons and kings Weaving a charm and a spell Blessed by the night, holy and bright Called by the toll of the bell
  16. Yup, nothing wrong with being 3-1 at the quarter pole and extremely optimistic but our opponents are 3-6 in games not against us. I'd dial back your comment and say let's see how they do next week against the Chiefs. I'd love to see a signature win in the regular season and next week is the biggest one they can get this year (@Tampa Brady would be the next best)
  17. Colors, colors I am a nightmare walking, psychopath talking King of my jungle just a gangster stalking Living life like a firecracker quick is my fuse Then dead as a deathpack the colors I choose
  18. Some honorable mentions who haven't been mentioned: Sgt. Schultz Sgt. Dietrich Deputy Inspector Luger And just to show that I'm not biased towards a man with a title: Burt Campbell Jeannie
  19. I'm a Yankee hater but it's a great point that it's a long season. Too many alleged baseball fans fail to understand that . And I am speaking about friends that don't post/read here - although I've seen it here too. Rushes to judgement on a baseball season are laughable. The strange thing about baseball is how it quickly turns from a marathon to a sprint. That's in large part due to post-season TV schedules.
  20. The Good Rats? Can't remember the last time I heard that band name.
  21. In the silk sheet of time I will find peace of mind Love is a bed full of blues
  22. The man of the hour Has an air of great power The dudes have envied him for so long Oh, superfly You're gonna make your fortune by and by But if you lose, don't ask no questions why The only game you know is do or die
  23. To those of the mind 'maybe Laundrie didn't do it', have you seen this development (link below)? A guy went missing sometime around August 23 in the same area. They found his body around 40 miles from where they found Gabby. Police are saying they found the body due to tips from the Gabby case (plausible) and the two deaths are unrelated. I still firmly believe that Laundrie did it, not so convinced that the deaths are unrelated. https://nypost.com/2021/09/29/gabby-petito-search-uncovers-another-missing-persons-remains/ BTW, Throw in the two women murdered in Moab and I'm starting to question whether a vacation to the National Parks is safer than a vacation to Chicago.
  24. What's up with the whitespace in the letter "d"?
