  1. At some point you have to wonder if Dorsey is lacking confidence. Is he scared of calling an aggressive offense?
  2. The Bills have lost 4 games where they have scored 79 points (16, 20, 25, 18). They have turned the ball over 10 times while generating 4 turnovers. Cut down on the turnovers, get back to uptempo and play more risky. If McDermott can send 6, he can certainly go for it on 4th down.
  3. 8 games left, epic turnarounds have happened. Go 5-3. Punch a ticket to the postseason. Lots of things can happen b/n rubber mats and banana peels. I recall the 2010 Packers as my cause for optimism.
  4. I also have Ekeler. I am playing Breece Hall. Hoping Herbert doesn't have an Allen like meltdown here. Clinging to a 10 point lead.
  5. Elam has shown me more pick ability than Dane & Benford have ever shown. Now that isn't to say Elam is fundamentally sound but he makes plays.
  6. Regretting benching Stroud and starting Herbert. I pulled a McDermott.
  7. To be fair the defense has created 1 turnover the past 4 games, while the offense has turned over the ball 7 times.
  8. I think it’s McDermott demanding slow drives to keep his defense off the the field. That’s complimentary football. Unfortunately we don’t have the 90s Cowboys OL and bellwether RB.
  9. Not enough complimentary run offense. And the defense is giving up a ton of early TD drives.
  10. The tablet doesn’t show Allen’s POV. Plus Allen leads league in turnovers since 2018, so no reason to dwell on a sour subject.
  11. Agreed that we should put Harty in at RB and have him run routes.
  12. I think our defense needs to practice corralling scrambling QBs.
  13. Collingsworth has a thing for 16 year olds.
  14. Burrow doesn’t force passes into cover 2 shells as often as Allen does. If it’s a pass to Davis in the gap, it’s likely not going to be completed, so I question why take the shot? A turnover is more likely than Davis hauling in a perfect touch pass. Allen to Davis tonight was off, and I think it had something to do with the Bengals pressing Davis right at the line and eliminating him getting a free release.
  15. Bengals looked good tonight, they are stingy with the ball and score early. I think the Bills inability to create more than 3 points on drives 2-8 was the game. You can’t have 7 drives in a row that yield 3 points and 2 turnovers. Clean up the turnovers, and it’s a tie game. Assume the Bengals finish as a Wild Card, it’s probably going to be a challenge to see them going on the road and beating KC, Jax, Baltimore. Miami clearly can be beaten by Cincy. So far as overhyping the Bengals, I just don’t think they have the running game, similar to Buffalo that can win a road playoff game. It will take a nearly flawless passing game from Burrow and turnovers. Tua will give them that. Mahomes, Lawrence and Jackson will likely not give the Bengals those chances.
  16. If Allen hands the ball off 1st and 2nd down then he can’t get hurt.
  17. Beane would never allow that, plus Daboll could crush Allen’s bad habits developed in his absence.
  18. If the weather is crap, which it is in Buffalo come playoff time then 12 personnel makes sense. That said, being that we are likely to be the #7 at best, then we will be playing in pass friendlier climates.
  19. Before the game if someone told you this: Drive 1 TD. Drive 9 TD. Drives 2-8, punt, pick, punt, end of half, FG, punt, fumble. 7 drives 3 points, 2 turnovers, 3 points against off turnovers. You would likely conclude the Bills would have been blown out. The fact it was a game with 3 minutes to go shows just how close this team was to winning. Unfortunately another game with zero defensive turnovers and too many turnovers.
