  1. Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson is in the hospital. A team source says he is in good condition
  2. He's not healthy, has not been healthy in a couple of years. He was torched against Pittsburgh. How much longer can they wait for a soon to be 32 year old with a bad knee? He's not healthy, he can't contribute, time to say goodbye. That's the reality of the NFL.
  3. Last play of the game. Everything else up to that point led to that one play. He makes it, they win, He misses, they lose. He missed. They lost. He makes it, he's the all-time greatest Buffalo Bill. He missed it, he's the all-time Buffalo Bills goat.
  4. It's preseason. Preseason games are meaningless. Repeat that 1,000 times. The 1990 Bills were 0-4 in preseason. Blown out by the Bears 35-7 in the 4th game. The 2008 Detroit Lions were 4-0 in preseason. Gave up 32 points in 4 games in fact. Preseason is meaningless. Preseason records don't count. It has zero effect on the regular season with the exception of injuries.
  5. I want a 2012 Buffalo Bills AFC East Champions shirt for Christmas. 12-4 and at least one home playoff game in January.
  6. How about the 300lbs. that fell on the back of his leg? No factor?
  7. Preseason. Before the real season. Exhibition games played prior to regular season games. Fake games played before the real games start. Defense looked great until last drive of the first half. Offense had a good drive for a TD. Almost 40 guys that are playing in the game NOW, will be gone by this time next week.
  8. How does anyone not know Al Cowlings was driving the white Bronco? Seriously. You have to be 10 (IQ or Age) not to know that.
  9. Why stop at steroids and other PED's? Don't ban anything. Narcotics? Sure. Get wired on blow before the game. Tired at halftime? Handful of amps, Can't concentrate? Take some Adderall. Can't calm down after the game? Couple of joints. Bigger, faster, stronger, meaner, tougher. Whatever it takes to play. All that stuff goes on NOW. Nobody knows what guys take or don't take unless they fail a drug test or three. If 10% of the players are 100% clean, I'd be shocked.
  10. I think the dynamic changed starting in the late 70's and evolved over time. Started in the late 70's with Dan Fouts/Air Coryell to Joe Montana/West Coast Offense to the 83 Draft (Kelly/Marino/Elway) to the Run & Shoot and No-Huddle offenses to Brett Favre/ Peyton Manning/Tom Brady to now where the ultimate success or failure in the NFL is having a "franchise QB". The first real franchise QB was Joe Namath.
  11. It seems like one big, on purpose set-up. The O-line is worrisome now. Lindell is frustrated with missing FG's in practice. Stevie has a sore groin. They had to practice a game week better.. Fans worry and overreact, Jets think they will have an easy opener then BOOM! goes the dynamite on 9/9.
  12. Olives and Spider Man's 50th Birthday yesterday. Turned it off. It would be nice to have sports talk from 3-7pm on the only sports station in town. Now they are the Bills station along with the Sabres and 3-7pm is just wasted and had been for years. Sometimes change is good.
  13. When is the last time the Bills were good in preseason? When did it start to matter if they were? They never play well in preseason. It's nothing more than to evaluate players. Christ, Baltimore gave up 260 yards in the first half at home tonight. Green Bay got whacked by Cleveland the other day. The year the Lions went 0-16 they were 4-0 in preseason. The Bills were 0-4 in the 1990 preseason. The outcome of the game in preseason is USELESS!!!!!
  14. 1. Kelly 2. Ferguson 3. Kemp 4. Reich 5. Lamonica 6. Bledsoe 7. Flutie 8. Fitzpatrick 9. Van Pelt 10. Shaw How about the Ten Worst as well? 1. Losman 2. Edwards 3. Johnson 4. Marangi 5. Ferragamo 6. Mathison 7. Hobert 8. Collins 9. Darragh 10. Stephenson
  15. I think MORE people would go. I think more people would bring their kids to games. It's not the responsible people that ruin it for everyone else. It's the out of control drunk and obnoxious, more than likely underage people that ruin it for others. Where is it written that to enjoy a football game you have to get wasted and act obnoxious? People think it's a right to pound a 12 pack, drop f-bombs and puke all over themselves because they are at a football game. They need to change the culture and mentality or they will lose an entire generation of potential fans plus the older responsible fans that don't want to put up with that garbage anymore. You want to go the game, have a few beers and yell and scream. Go ahead. That's what it is supposed to be like. There are laws- right or wrong- whatever- they are there. Don't smoke pot in public, no underage drinking in public, don't get drunk and drive a vehicle. There is an open container law too. Just because you go to a football game doesn't make those things disappear. I don't understand why you would spend all that money on a ticket and parking and get wrecked to the point you don't remember the game, piss yourself or get in a fight and then drive home. It's crazy.
  16. Three series in the first preseason game. Means less than nothing. 1990 Bills. 0-4 in Preseason. Just want NO injuries and for the first team to work on stuff they suck at.
  17. He won't after his wreck of an O-Line gives up 20 sacks on September 30th. He'll quit or be carried off.
  18. Media is lazy and they just follow what the other guy says, no original thoughts. I look at the Patriots depth chart and I don't see where they are automatically a given for the division title. Their O-Line is weak. Mankins is out to start the season, his backup is a rookie. Koppen played one game last year, Waters is 35. Vollmer started 5 games last year. Their receivers are all over 30. On Defense, we all know they were ranked 30th last year. Where did they get better on defense exactly? On paper, I believe our running game is better, our O-Line is better and our defense is better. Patriots look like an old team to me, I think we have as good a shot as anyone this year to finally take them out.

  20. He said they are done with WR's in FA, he did not say they are done with FA's.
  21. Stephen Tulloch. He is a 4-3 MLB. 27 years old. Averages 130 tackles a year. Mario William's teammate at NC State. Problem is he wants a deal upwards of 6 million per year with 40% guaranteed. I think he'd be a big upgrade over Barnett.
  22. It's "You were right" not "You where right". The team isn't not going to be a contender. That means they will be a contender. SMH.
  23. We haven't had a "Franchise" QB since Kelly retired. Butler did a terrible job as GM. By the time the team he inherited from Polian was broken up and he had to build a team on his own, he failed miserably. The 98, 99 and 2000 drafts netted us Sam Cowart, Peerless Price and Antoine Winfield. That's it. Three drafts and only 3 starters. The 2000 draft may have been the worst draft of all time. He tried to build with trades and free agents, i.e. veterans, while the stars from the early 90's were at the end of their careers. They had decent teams in 98 & 99 but they were just not good enough. HR Throwback still haunts this organization. They had a good enough defense to go all the way that year. That was the end. They were not drafting well. No franchise QB. Can only sign so many free agents. By 2001, Butler was in SD and the Bills had to blow it all up and start over. They still have really not recovered.
