  1. I don't get anyone that's mad about this draft. They're walking out with three potential starting players and an extra first round pick next season. Anything else is just icing on the cake at this point. If Lawson and Ragland can bounce back from unjustly that's three solid drafts in a row. I don't know what else we should expect.
  2. Go to Reading Terminal Market. Literally good food surrounding you. My favorites are the rib sandwich from the Rib Stand, apple dumpling from the Dutch Eating Place (get it with heavy cream on top not whipped), roast pork sandwich at Dinic's, and ice cream at Bassett's. But to answer your original question, I'm a Geno's guy if it's only the two.
  3. Hooker, Foster, Davis, or Howard. I'd be good with any of them.
  4. First of all if you tender him at a 2nd round level it's more money. I'm sure they could have found a way, but they were trying to keep him at a cheaper price. I don't think anyone would have anticipate a team stepping in and offering him $4 million a year. If they want him that bad then by all means. Also, who's to say that the team didn't try to tie him into a more cap friendly deal? Maybe he wanted to test the waters. That's the problem I have with every move the Bills make, no matter what they do there's someone therento say why they should have done something completely different. Who knows, maybe they tried. I'm sure on a Thursday if they don't trade down from #10 there will be plenty of posts complaining about how it's the wrong move. Just like the Gillislee deal you need two interested parties.
  5. If you had your choice which would you pick, someone that you know can get the job done in the NFL or someone you think might be able to? It's not like that fifth round pick is going to bring their dynasty down, but it gives Tom Brady someone else to work with while he is still playing. That's who I like. I would think Mike Tolbert could teach him a thing or two.
  6. If I weren't a Bills fan I'd definitely be a Las Vegas Raiders fan. The move just makes too much damn sense for the team. I'm not usually a supporter of franchises moving, but Mark Davis made the only play that he had left. His team was dead last in revenue generated. That doesn't improve without a new stadium. Oakland simply wasn't going to make that happen. So why not let Las Vegas pay for the majority of a new stadium for your team? It sucks, but that's the reality of the business side of the NFL. I think the Raiders will thrive in Vegas.
  7. I used to listen to Sabres games on WGR when I went to school in Greenville, NC. WGR came in pretty faint, but 660 in NYC came in like it was broadcasting from the next county over. I always got a kick out of picking up radio stations from other places. Things were a little different before the Internet.
  8. I bought my first Star Wars action figures at an Ames. 1978 at the Ames in Springville. I want to say they cost $1.49 each.
  9. Let's dig up some posts from 2013 and see how drafting for need in a weak talent pool works out.
  10. Not a fan of that. We don't have enough picks in this draft as it is. The draft is deep at DB and WR two areas of big need on this team. The QBs in this draft are so lackluster that you're assuming they can be acquired in the late first round. Need doesn't make the selection better.
  11. You know that they have a roster to fill, right? This is such a pointless post.
  12. It is weaker. But luckily for the Bills the season doesn't start tomorrow.
  13. Needing a long term solution doesn't make your long term options better. I'm not really sure what Howard Simon wants the Bills to do.
  14. I didn't watch a lot of him in college, but looking at some stuff on YouTube I see what you're talking about. Even in his highlight reel he's constantly underthrowing his receivers and they're adjusting. Probably not. They would have had their careers murdered by our undertalented offensive lines, pitiful WRs, and pathetic coaching.
  15. I agree. I'd like to have them both back, but if you gave me a choice I'd pick Zach Brown to overpay and bring back. It sucks, but you can't keep everyone.
  16. Sabres. They'll make it next season. I've come to believe that the Bills are an absolutely cursed franchise. I've come to the realization that there will be no end to the drought. They simply will never make the playoffs again. Ever. Their current roster is on the verge of collapse, which will cause a downward spiral, which will cause desperation moves to save Whaley's job, which will put the team further away from the rebuild that is needed, which will cost McDermott his job. Three years from now we'll have a new GM and head coach and a terrible roster.
  17. What a terrible thing for a father to go through. You and your family have my deepest condolences.
  18. One is a transcendent talent at the QB position. Inarguably one of the ten best QBs of all time. The other is an injury prone franchise QB that won't be a hall of famer. Furthermore Peyton Manning was released. So he just cost the Broncos a huge signing bonus and cap space. The Cowboys have done no such thing and are likely to hold out for draft picks in order to move him.
  19. This is the move a rudderless franchise would make. I really hope there's nothing to this report.
  20. Chillitos at Taco Bell. The only thing worth going to Taco Bell for.
  21. I've never done an all inclusive resort, but I recently did a cruise for the first time. I never thought I'd be a cruise person, but man was that a great vacation. I loved not having to plan anything. Just sit back and relax and figure out what you want for dinner. I'd imagine all inclusives would be equally nice in that regard.
  22. Jumping the shark has nothing to do with the popularity of the show. It's a statement on the quality of the show.
  23. Hey, what'd I ever do to you? Oh! You weren't talking to me.
