  1. Man, so many Bills fans complaining about the HC & GM, and look at the Green Bay Packers with an SB QB and 3x MVP in Aaron Rodgers. He missed the playoffs 4x and his teams went 6-9, 6-10, 8-7-1, 6-9-1. They fired Mike McCarthy and haven't been back to an SB not even for a loss. And he played in a crappy division with the Lions, Bears, and Vikings. Even Brett Favre missed the playoffs 5x. Wanna blame someone, blame Ken Dorsey who tanked the offense against the Jags, Patriots, Bengals, and Broncos. Josh Allen was the QB for those games and the Bills still lost...and almost lost against the Giants and Bucs.
  2. Hey, McD started with OC Rick Dennison in 2017 and that guy wasn't up to par even though the Bills made the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor at QB. So, FIRED! The next man up was a hire that wasn't on the roster in Brian Daboll. Seemed like a smart move considering he had an NE Patriot background and the Bills were running the same offensive scheme in Erhardt/Perkins as the Patriots. It turned out to be A very smart move as this man helped guide QB Josh Allen into one of the very best QBs in the league. (Also, Buffalo also parted ways with O line/run game coordinator Jusn Castillio) Along with several different coaches that haven't been good enough. WR coach, ST coach, and so on. It looks to me like this HC will hold his assistants accountable in their jobs. It wouldn't surprise me to see the current Buffalo Bills special teams coach fired after this season. (12 players on the field costing a game) All the hate for McD and yet so many have a weak memory. I recall the Bills this season when they had a full force on defense going 48-20 against the hottest offense in the league with the Miami Dolphins. After this Miami game, there was no doubt that McD was as good as a DC as there was. If I can make a conjecture here. I think that there are several assistant coaches on the Buffalo staff that are supposed to be helping the HC with observations on the field during games. They have failed McD on many occasions and he takes the blame. Calling the defensive plays can take a lot of the attention of that play caller and it must be difficult to do both HC & DC. I suspect he will hire a full-time DC after this season. The defensive injuries to the super-star players have really, really hurt this team this season.
  3. Now imagine the Buffalo offense without Cook, without Allen, without Diggs as the defense lost their 3 best players in Milano, Tre White, and DaQuan Jones along with Von Miller still not 100%. What would that Buffalo offense look like even if they still had Allen but lost Kincade? That Buffalo defense is still pretty darn good even with all the injuries to star players.
  4. Let me ask, what happened to Josh Allen in the first half of the Jacksonville, NY Giants, Bucs, Patriots, Bengals, and Broncos? You know, when the offense couldn't get going...couldn't run, couldn't pass, and was falling on its face against some bad teams. The Bills were lucky that the refs didn't call penalties at the end of the Giants, and Bucs games or Buffalo just might be 4-8 right now. Wasn't Josh Allen the QB in those losses to Jacksonville 20-25? New England 25-29? Cincinnati 20-24? Denver 22-24? Yet, suddenly scores 32 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Takes the NFC Camps to OT in a 34-37 loss. Talk to Ken Dorsey...who is now unemployed.
  5. Good, darn shame we can't get the downers to hold everyone accountable to stop posting like little kids who didn't get their way.
  6. Yeah, like the total big 3 losses last season when the team went 13-3 despite losing half the defense to injuries? Most of the losses this season are from the offense not scoring in the first half of six games. The defense constantly needs to take the field when the offense can't make a first down and gets worn out by the fourth quarter...even after losing the all-pro star LBer, all-pro star CB, best-run stuffer DT. From what I've read this HC is not getting fired this season even if they lose most of their remaining games. Might need to jump off the bandwagon and find a new team to rant about or find a dog to kick.
  7. Jeez, that was the very best team in the NFL that Buffalo was playing and took them to overtime. The 9-1 Eagles in Philly during a rainstorm. Buffalo lost that game to the very probable MVP in Jalen Hurts. So many things went wrong for Buffalo in that game, missed FG, blocked FG, the Philly kicker kicks a 59-yard FG on the grass in a rainstorm (play of the game)? Buffalo outplayed the NFC champs at their home, Buffalo ran the ball for 173 yards, and 2 TDs against the #1 run defense in the NFL. 505 total yards vs 378. ToP 40:30 vs 26.33. Net passing yards 332 vs 193. Third down conversions 13 of 22 vs 4 of 11. And oh yeah, the Buffalo Bills fought the refs the entire game with bad calls throughout. But yeah, let's fire the coaching staff!
  8. McD stated that they practiced that play 3x that week and the 12 guy out there was Leonard Floyd... The thing is, shouldn't have somebody on special teams been counting the players on the field...you know... like they do every stinking special teams play. So, my thoughts are the special teams coach is mostly at fault here. Yes, the buck stops with the HC. Just like it did with the offense before he fired the OC. Is firing McD going to end all the bad luck this franchise endures? OR, will it send it into a downward spiral like so many teams do when they fire a good HC and attempt to find a top replacement. Have someone in mind?
  9. Think about it. The Bills offense was super good most of last season and QB Josh Allen did endorse Dorsey for the OC job. While I agree that things could be much worse with losses to both the Giants and Bucs as both could have ended with defensive penalties on Buffalo. I think that the Denver game was the last straw and McD needed to be careful that he didn't alienate his QB. Buffalo seems to be reeling at times due to player mistakes more than anything else right now. One missed pass play could have changed most opinions, If Gabe Davis runs the correct route and catches that TD the Bills are 7-5.
  10. Horsehocky! This HC went to the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor at QB! The Buffalo defense is usually top-five or better every season. Even with ALL the various injuries to many defensive players last season the Buffalo defense still finished the season #2 in points allowed and #6 in yards allowed. We all saw during that six-game stretch this season from Jacksonville to Denver that the offense can fall on its face even with a unicorn at QB like Josh Allen! This year's offense couldn't seem to score in the first half of several games. Yes, Josh Allen is the best player on the team...although he didn't change the six losses. Let down by the defense? Even with losing star LBer Matt Milano, star CB Tre White, and star run stopper DaQuan Jones, (who BTW was having an outstanding season). The Buffalo defense is still #6 in points allowed and #11 in yards allowed. If there is one thing that I see that McD could use help with is that his assistants that are supposed to be helping with on the field calls as they need to be replaced. the man has his hands full watching the defense and calling defensive plays. Plus, special teams seem to be falling on its face at times this season. McD didn't run the wrong way or miss a pass in the end zone that could have won the Eagles game. If that one catch is made all the crazies with their torches and pitchforks are cheering instead of ranting for change.
  11. Talk to the guy who was fired midseason! The Buffalo offense went into the tank for 7 games starting with the Jaguars. In this period they simply couldn't score in the first half of games. Some noted that the Buffalo offense was schematically broken and so simple that the opposing team knew what they were going to do before they did it. Clearly looking at the last two games McD made the correct move.
  12. Be careful what you wish for... as the next 5-10 Buffalo Bills head coaches might be what this franchise had in the 2000s. One of them might just ruin QB Josh Allen and then where would the team be? Change isn't always for the better, simply ask the Raiders, Chargers, NY Jets, Browns, Titans, Colts, Giants, Commanders, Bears, Packers, Buccaneers, Panthers, Cardinals fans. How many first-round pick QBs did the Cleveland Browns ruin so far and have they ever even been to a SB? Andrew Luck was a generational NFL QB who was drafted in 2012 and took his team to the playoffs right away. 2012-2013-2014 and was so badly injured by bad decisions from bad coaches that he decided to retire in 2018. Right now this team is STILL on the verge of getting to a Super Bowl and all so many fans can do is rant about making changes to the HC. An HC who is already second on the Buffalo Bills for most NFL wins.
  13. I read this stuff from Bills fans wanting to replace the best HC this franchise has seen since Marv Levy and the best GM since Bill Polian. A few things come to mind, are these really Buffalo Bills fans or Dolphins, Jets, and Patriots fans wanting to stir the pot on getting rid of an HC that has been kicking their butts the last few seasons? So, if these mostly are Buffalo Bills fans does this fanbase even deserve to get to a Super Bowl with all the whining and complaining from these so-called fans when things go wrong? Every NFL team faces adversity and injuries and I didn't read that the Ravens fans wanted to fire Harbough when the team went 8-9 in 2021. Did McD or Beane cause the defense to lose 3 of their best players early this season? Or lose so many defensive players last season? I can understand why McD waited to fire Ken Dorsey as he did a great job last season and there were a few game stretches this season when the Bills beat the Raiders, Commanders, and Miami Dolphins. That Dolphin win 48-20 with the offense humming on all cylinders. Beaten by the Jaguars, Patriots, Bengals, and Broncos and almost beaten by the NY Giants, and Buccaneers too. It was the Buffalo offense falling on its face as they couldn't score in the first half for some reason. McD did the right thing as the offense has found itself again under new OC Joe Brady. Currently, the Buffalo Bills are one of the very best teams in the NFL and the fan base needs to calm down on wanting to change things. I'll bet that the Patriots owner is hoping that Buffalo FO listens to some disgruntled Bills fans and fires McD so he can hire him to win the AFC East again.
  14. We fans simply don't know what goes on behind the scenes with coaches and schemes with the reasons for decisions. YES, the buck stops with McD and yes it looks like he had better hire a DC as being both DC and HC takes away from his view as HC. Let's not forget that this is the very same HC that took this team to 13-3 seasons and built one of the very best teams in the NFL...despite all the injuries. A perfect playoff game against the hated New England Patriots, 47-17 That Philly game came down to one play in OT where the QB threw it at one spot and the WR went to another as it should have been the game-winning TD. Bills OC Joe Brady took the blame for that missed pass. Most of the losses this season can be placed right on former Bills OC Ken Dorsey as it was noted that the Buffalo offense was schematically broken and teams knew what was coming. This has changed big time in the last few weeks under Joe Brady. I for one would like to see where it takes Buffalo this season... hopefully to the playoffs.
  15. This franchise does feel like it's cursed at times. No idea when it began. All I know is this franchise won two AFL Championships in 1964-1965. Call in an ordained Priest and get an exorcism going... it can't hurt.
  16. They can't help it! SOMEONE MUST TAKE THE BLAME FOR NOT WINNING AN SB!! I WANT MY MAYPO!!!! I WANT IT NOW!!! It really is ridiculous how much crap this man takes for building one of the best teams in the NFL. All the injuries last season and now this season to the defense and yet it wasn't the defense that was the problem this year. McD fired the problem in Ken Dorsey and that guy was one his QB Josh Allen endorsed...so he needed to be certain. The defensive problem for the 13 seconds is also now gone. Look at what just happened in the last Buffalo Bills game. They took the NFC Champion to OT and lost because of a few mistakes and bad referee calls. Buffalo should have won that game. This fan base needs to relax and stop needing to blame the coaches or GM.
  17. I feel so bad for the players as they played like crazed madmen and should have won this game. Took the best team in the league to OT and nearly won it.
  18. Find a way Buffalo, find a way! 🙏
  19. FIRE EVERYONE!!!!!! Oh wait, aren't the Buffalo Bills playing the best team in the NFL at their house? The 9-1 Eagles.
  20. Fire the GD ball boy...who gave Josh that crappy ball.
  21. Hey, sometimes players don't get it right away and it does take time for some. It's reps that will give this kid the experience he needs. He has the physical tools. I did give an example of Rasual Douglas who took a few seasons to develop. Clearly, the Bills must see potential or he would be gone as this coaching staff doesn't waste their time on "maybes". On another note, the one player who I really thought they went after in the draft that was a waste was DE Carlos Basham Jr. But then, pass rushers trump all other draft picks other than a QB. So I can see why they went for the pass rusher over C Creed Humphrey. Who, so many fans here were calling for them to draft? Then again, the Bills have Mitch Morse who has been the linchpin of the Buffalo O line for years and still is...despite all the concussions. Still, they must be keeping Boogie around for a reason.
  22. He is not a scheme fit for the Bills. In college, he excelled at man-to-man heavy press corner and he is still learning McD's defensive zone scheme. The only real way to learn in the NFL is to play and he has been underrepped. Against Maimi, he played well, and in other games not so well. Obviously, this coaching staff must feel he needs more time in this scheme as the physical talent is there. He is after all the fastest DB on the roster. Sometimes good players don't emerge in the NFL right away. Take a long hard look at the new Buffalo Bill's #1 CB in Rasul Douglas. Eagles, Panthers, Raiders*, Cards*, Packers*, and now Buffalo. Bills fans complained about giving up a third for him at first. He had 3 turnovers against the Jets, 2 INTs, and a fumble recovery.
  23. They wasted a year and a half on him. He had no plan B against a lot of teams. Little or no run game, and very little under-center PA. He was turning Josh Allen into Sam Darnold.
  24. I have FUBO so I get to watch the NY Jets post-game. QB Zach Wilson, 7 of 15 for 81 pass yards TD INT...replaced in 3rd quarter QB Tim Boyle, 7 of 14 for 33 pass yards and an INT WR Garrett Wilson 2 receptions for 9 yards, lost fumble On Third down 0-11
  25. 6-5 with a DUB
