Ok, I’ll bite. Better artist - Charles Schultz or Cheekatowaga native Jackson Polack?

Black pellets on a grass field? Is that a thing? -
Yeah, even though income tax has already been collected from the earnings of the original buyer. After buying a ticket, he could then become a seller, trading the ticket for the same cost. In effect, he’d have no more money than he started with, no ticket, but would somehow pay tax twice on the same money. Hypothetically , a ticket could be sold and re-sold 10 times (or more) and Uncle Sam would have his hand out for a piece of each transaction. It’s like buying a car and there’s supposed to be sales tax for every transfer of ownership when funds are involved. I’ve never understood how this is fair. The secondary market is getting less attractive and riskier.

Not trying to break balls. I haven’t lived there in 35 years, so I don’t pay NY taxes. There’s a ‘think small’ mentality that’s pervasive among the simple hard-working blue collar folks who reside in places like Buffalo. They’re thrifty and value the dollar, so it’s not surprising someone would think about re-using materials. I’m not knocking it. It’s commendable. But do you think people like Jerry Jones ever think for a second about preserving something from an out of date facility? When they calculate costs and consider contractor bids, no one is thinking, ‘gee, couldn’t we save a few hundred thousand by taking something from the old place’. Go Bills!!

To you and me, 3 million is a nice chunk of change. For the high rollers like the Pegulas, 3 million is a drop of rain in the ocean. They waste more than that in dead cap money in any given year. If they get 4-5 years out of that 3 mil video gear, they’re fine with it. They got their use out of it. It’s a write-off! Wait until 2027 and go dumpster diving at One Bills Drive if you’re worried about wasting the equipment.

This sounds so Buffalo. Let’s be thrifty and repurpose our old crap!! It still has a few good years. when they build a new stadium, they’re not going to re-use old video screens and piss troughs from Rich Stadium days. anything that can be re-used will likely be auctioned off or donated for future use by a small college or high school. And they’ll probably have to uninstall, transport, and re-install at their own expense before the stadium is imploded.

0-0 white jersey, red pants 0-0 red pants, white jersey 0-0 no pants, no jersey 0-0 Sabre's banana slug sweater, boxer shorts Obviously, there's a science behind this. Hmmm All kidding aside, I can't help but wonder if superstition has crept into the heads of the Bills. No white over blue pants since the embarrassment in Jacksonville. May be the last we see of that combo.

The current breed of late night hosts, SNL cast, TV show reboots, and their writers have alienated half of their potential American audience by over-politicizing content. They naively expect all viewers to nod in agreement with cheap shots and misguided attacks on those who lean right of center. Worst of all...they're attempts at most of their comedy falls flat. They're not funny.

Are the Chiefs undefeated? They can be beaten. Not concerned. Yes, they need to contain Mahomes and stuff the run. On the other hand, the Chiefs will (should) have their hands full with the Bills QB/Receivers and newly energized running game that utilizes size and strength. I believe it's all going to come down to playing smart, not taking needless penalties, and staying focused. The Bills are coming into this game with a full head of steam and have played nearly flawless football since halftime in Tampa.

Pants puppet? I like that. I'm sure I'll find a family gathering or some equally inappropriate situation to use that euphemism. The video edit was brilliant at the 45 second mark where they showed Kelly lofting a TD pass to Metzelaars (# 88) in the right corner of the end zone, followed immediately by a nearly identical positioning of QB and receiver from the Pats blowout when Allen threw the first of 5 to Knox (# 88) in the right corner of the end zone. Nice touch!

Different era. That would get him fired today.

I'm getting cold just reading the anecdotes in this thread. Bills mafia attending the game - stay safe, stay warm, and make some noise. Go Bills!!!

Good list, though I could probably eliminate 2 or 3. Pittsburgh may be the most attractive team for Trubisky if they show interest. They'll have QB vacancy and cap room, and with only a mid to late 1st round draft pick in a weak QB draft, will probably not look to the draft for an immediate starter. Historically solid organization with winning coach and good fan base. Another factor is DeShaun Watson. How does he figure into it? - assuming legal issues and contract disputes don't keep him off the field. Does he end up in Miami, throwing Tua onto the QB carousel. Depending on how everything plays out, my guess is there's a 50/50 chance Trubisky could sign another 1 year deal with the Bills.

I'm not convinced Trubisky is out of here after one year. I'd think the only reason for Trubisky to leave is for a chance at a starting job and better money. Probably not getting much better money without the starting position. So, how many NFL teams would consider Trubisky an upgrade from current QB and have a starting job available? Maybe 4 or 5? If that. I don't know. Of those few teams needing a starting QB, at least a couple of them will probably take a QB in round 1 of the draft. And Trubisky would have to decide if an offer is truly a better situation. Good organization with chance to be in playoffs? Good coaching staff? Or are they at the beginning of a rebuild or a team in constant chaos? If there are limited options that don't have great appeal, Trubisky may decide Buffalo is still his best bet.

When I was in my 20's, I thought Stern was funny and edgy. Turns out I was just young and immature and easily tickled by the sophomoric humor. The 'shock' of the shock jock era is over, and now it's just an old guy acting like the annoying 8th grade class clown. I heard that Don Imus was great. Listened a couple times to see what that was all about. Never found anything to like about his show and can't understand the mass appeal.

Tell that to Jerry Hughes

And if Ralph was still the owner, McDermott would have already quit in frustration 2 years ago after not being able to retain his core players.

flashback 2018 espn draft coverage of Josh pick
SoMAn replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Have to admit, watching this and seeing the list of failed QBs since Kelly, then hearing the commentator for ESPN declare, "Josh Allen is the new quarterback of the Buffalo Bills" - got a little lump in my throat. It's like having an endless string of mismatched blind dates for umpteen years when all off a sudden, you spot that special person you've been searching for and instinctively know, she's/he's the one! So thankful it wasn't Josh Rosen. That would have been a typical choice of the last several Bills' regimes, going back to Tom Donahoe. Talk about dodging a bullet. -
Maybe at the entrance gates just hand out little beach shovels to each attendee to clear out their own area on Sunday afternoon. Also, a little plastic beach pail. Attendees can put the snow in the pail, put full beer can in the snow that’s packed in the pail. Voila! Cleared out seating, Cold beer, melting snow, collectible souvenirs!
