  1. I'm going to go striper bass fishing on the first day of the draft. The Bills are going to trade down twice and have 4 second and 3 third round picks this year and an extra first round pick next year.
  2. Finally!!! This overblown thread is off of the front page of this site!!! Oh wait.....
  3. Has anybody mentioned a tight end who can't block, is just so-so on running patterns and isn't a red-zone target-even in college? We don't need a big slow heavy wide-out who sometimes lines up next to a tackle.
  4. Opposite Mario will be the defensive end that we draft in the second round.
  5. then somebody is going to want the #2 QB or the #1 CB or the #1 DT or the #1 TE or the #1 safety or the #2 LB and it is all good for the Bills with a trade down.
  6. I really don't care who this guy goes to. The fact is that he will be gone by the top 7 and not available for the Bills. If he does drop to #9, due to some weirdness in the teams drafting prior to us, we have a great trade down piece given to us and can sell to the highest bidder. A third pick in the first two rounds is more valuable than the improvement in WR by adding this guy and leaving a hole at DE, LB or RIGHT offensive tackle.
  7. We can hope. I see the Bills needing ROT, DE and LB as the top 3 picks. There are 2 LEFT offensive tackles, a QB (whoever somebody is in love with), a DE, a LB and two WR's that will be picked before #9. That is 7 players and leaves a very good LEFT offensive tackle, quarterbacks, the top linebackers, the top safeties the top cornerbacks , the top tight ends still on the board. Regardless of who is picked at #8, there is going to be players there who teams will be willing to move up for. The Bills trade down and get their top 3 needs filled from players selected in the lower first and in the second round. We will get the 3 down linebacker.
  8. The Bills will trade down twice and have 1 low first round pick,, 3 seconds and 3 thirds. Andre will be a busy man.
  9. It helps me to remember that our coach played offensive line and coached offensive line. My sources tell me that we are trading up for Mack because that is the name of our head coach's son. Remember that you heard it hear first.
  10. No to your No. Reality is a zero sum game with draft picks. A third string QB in the second round means NO to a starting DE, LB or OG.
  11. I hope a great WR, QB or offensive tackle falls to #9 and that will allow us to trade down and get one or two extra very good starting players with less face value.
  12. I'm disappointed that he hasn't gotten arrested for running over an old lady in a elementary school zone.
  13. We should look at all Canadian players.
  14. Ebron at #9 is like Flowers and Maybin rolled into one. A guy who just can't do it. Do you want a contract selling ice to Eskimos? Do you sell used cars or real estate?
  15. Neither. We need linebacker, defensive end and RIGHT offensive tackle. You will not see a tight end until the 3rd or 4th round, if then.
  16. No, trade down and grab several stars. Look how we did last year. We traded down, got the QB they wanted, a starting LOT and nearly the rookie of the year on defense with those 3 picks in the first two rounds. Rather than one player. Duh.........

  18. What it cost to trade up to different picks based upon the draft value chart 1........... entire draft 2014 and 2015 plus a 2nd in 2016? 2... ..........1st, 2nd, & 4th this year, next year's 1st 3.............1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks 4.............1st, 2nd round and 5th round pick 5.............1st, 3rd and 4th round pick 6.............1st, 3rd and 7th round pick 7.............1st, 4th, 5th and 7th round pick 8.............1st, 5th and 7th round pick 9................nothing Sorry, but trading up is very costly althought the chartt way overranks the first 3 picks. I would guess that to get Clowney (didn't he get 3 sacks last year in college?) would probably "only" cost our first 4 picks this year and our first 3 picks next year. Basically, we would not have a pick in the top 100 for two years, which means we would be down 5-7 decent or very good starting players for two years. That would be death for the franchise.
  19.
