Raiders Still Hoping for Fan Support(Bills Related)
LEBills replied to JMF2006's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just put the Sabres or the Bills under Kim's name like Kroenke did with his son. That rule isn't much of an impediment. -
Raiders Still Hoping for Fan Support(Bills Related)

That's right. Pegula has voted in favor of all the recent relocations. It's only a matter of time that the NFL will come demanding a very publicly funded stadium in Buffalo like they got in Las Vegas. Maybe Terry will put up his own money, but I'll be surprised. Then the question is, do you want your taxes spent on a new stadium? I feel bad for the fans but respect the cities that have said no. Sports are great, but hardly essential. -
Good deal! Guy was stuck behind some good players, maybe he can get his shot here.
-
Good question, it's tough to give up the game you love. It's becoming harder and harder for me to keep supporting it knowing what former players are going through. I will always be a Bills fan, but I may have to stop supporting the sport out of my own conscious. I'm not sure when the tipping point will be because I do love the sport and the Bills so much.

Find me a athletic McD LB in the draft

Truth. Foster is overrated. Reddick is amazing. Mack Lite. -
Bills sign Corey Washington, Joe Banyard, Leonard Johnson

That's right, it was Blackmon. And he beat Blackmon up all game long. Scouting report sounds about right, good fit for a zone corner. Don't expect a superstar but chance to be a solid depth player. -

I like the Leonard Johnson signing. I remember he played amazing in college against Michael Crabtree and helped Iowa State upset Texas Tech when they were the second ranked team in the country. Wasn't sure what happened to him, interested to see how he does here. -
3 reasons Bills shouldn't use 10th pick on TE O.J. Howard
LEBills replied to pbanach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I disagree, our DLine is getting rough. The only player we can count on is Hughes. Shaq is unproven, Kyle is old and injured and nearly retired. Dareus is talented but always in trouble. Before shaq, we hadn't spent ANY draft pick on the DLine since 2011. Our OLine is a little better. But our LG and Center are old and our RT is bad. -

I like Tyrod, but spending the 10th pick on any pass catcher is a mistake. draft for the offensive and defensive lines instead -
Ryan Groy Signed to an Offer Sheet by Rams
LEBills replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was extended an offer. Let's see what happens. Maybe they match, maybe they don't find him a good fit and move on. -
Whoever the top player available at 10 from Clemson or Florida State is. Maybe Mike Williams. I hate Whaley drafts.
-
Cuz they finally hit their stride together the end of last year. The last three games Tyrod started, Clay had 18 catches, 209 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Bills to sign former Seahawks K Steven Hauschka

I like the idea of going for 2 after every touchdown -
In favor of Tyrod signing or no? Please substantiate.

I love the move. before this our options were to tank, draft and start a rookie at 10 or pay Taylor at his original cap hit. This allows the Bills not to tank, to allow us to develop a future QB behind Tyrod (hopefully this part is fulfilled and I'd be less pluses if it isn't) and doesn't force us into drafting purely for need. In the end, I don't think tanking is the way to go. I don't like the stench of losing and, though we certainly haven't won a ton, we are .500 over the past three years. -
True, but many of ours will and for decent contracts. Bc we have so many roster spots to fill, it was unlikley we'd be able to stay far on the net loss side anyway. And that's ok. But I hope that we can stabalize and start working the comp picks like the Pats and Ravens do.
-
I'm no hater, just realistic. The most important thing for Comp picks is loss vs gain. So we may still get a comp pick bc of Gilmore and the large contract he expects. But this signing and DiMarco will certainly affect our net gain/loss. Without the contract, we don't entirely know. By it'll probably cancel out losing Goodwin to SF.

I haven't read through every post but any mention of Jordan Willis? Guy has been a beast at KSU and destroyed the combine. 20 sacks in the past two seasons. 6-4, 250, 33.5 arms. 4.54 40, 1.54 10, 6.85 3-cone, 39 vert, and 10-5 broad jump. That is Myles Garrett territory

Just looking at his Carolina days, I think we will go with Darby and Seymore as our starting corners and add some cheap veterans like Verner. We will then probably spend some mid round picks on big CBs who can play in the zone. I think we are going to devalue the secondary like Carolina did. It'll be the front 7 that gets many of our resources, imo. Hopefully he learned from Carolina and the OLine also gets prioritized.
-
The point is that he has a lot of raw tools but nothing else. Not that they are the same QB. If you are that literal we probably can't talk.
-
I love when he crosses his feet in his drop lol. Needs a lot of coaching. Great arm tho.
-
Prescott was rising up draft boards before he got his DUI. He wasn't going to be the #1 QB, bc his college system didn't show his passing abilities enough. However, he probably would have been a first to second round pick. He nailed all of his interviews. Mahomes has good skills but his footwork makes his passing inconsistent. Which means at this point he is Cardale. he could be better, he may not be.

Lot of good skills. Mechanics are very spotty. Most QBs with spotty mechanics don't become Carr or Favre.
