  1. I'd write a song about Shannon but, alas, nothing rhymes with Orrange.
  2. Mr. Franczyk probably wants to convert the church to a living space for service workers like Alice. Officer Obie is concerned this could lead to rampant garbage dumping.
  3. From Sports Night: Isaac: Someone holds the copyright to 'Happy Birthday?' Dan: The representatives of Patty and Mildred Hill. Isaac: It took two people to write that song?
  4. 12%, but most of that is because I baked cookies last weekend.
  5. Went to Privé a club at PH a couple of years ago. Our group had a VIP section (we had a hookup). Lil' Jon was the DJ. I have to say... I had a pretty good time. /Tiger'd
  6. This is all your fault, dude. I dub you 'The Moosh'.
  7. I was watching it too. I Googled Dylan Avery and found this interesting piece on Cracked.com. /Occam'd
  8. They're gonna tear your heart out. You should just find another team instead of going through this again. /Joe left the Phillies and they then went on to win the World Series
  9. Bob: Hey Eddie, do you like this music? Eddie: Yeah. It rocks! Bob: Well I think this music's for posers. Eddie: [brief pause] Well i think you're a f@g. Stevo: F@G!
  10. Are hookers legal in Vancouver? WTF? Of course you probably meant "hookers", as in "loose women". /No you didn't
  11. Flo? Trivia: She was on the short-lived show "Cavemen", based on the the characters from the Geico commercial. This thread has officially come full-circle.
  12. Tiger's biggest fan in Oregon does not like this at all. Lana - Shouldn't you just move in with aj and get it over with? Fer cryin' out loud this Jim/Pam thing has gone on long enough!
  13. JOE DAVOLA: I like to encourage intruders. NEWMAN: I'm a little insulted. JERRY: _________________________
  14. Cool video:
  15. Jimmy Kimmel predicted that this would end badly. At the upfronts (a pitch to advertisers) noted that even NBC knew this was a bad idea: Too bad the original video was removed from YouTube. It was pretty great. Bill Simmons also predicted that NBC was going to put on this 10 o'clock show that will bomb and give Conan a bad lead-in which will make his ratings suffer, too. This will then allow NBC to get rid of Conan and put Leno back on at 11:35. Simmons thought this would make Conan quit and NBC wouldn't have to pay him... so he got that part wrong. I love a conspiracy theory*, so I'd say this is exactly how Zucker thought it would play-out and he's happy to be thought the idiot. *Actually I hate conspiracy theories, but whateves.
  16. He was on a trip to Vegas with David Strickland who went to another hotel and hanged himself. Drugs + Andy Dick = Bad Idea Jeans
  17. Not enough annoyance... here - take a bite out of this lemon. Actually, I like Mary Lynn Rajskub... just in other stuff. She was funny in both "Flight of the Conchords" as the Art Garfunkel fan, as well as Gail the Snail in "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". She's really a comedic actress that fell into the role of Chloe. Trivia: The blonde reporter is Dom Draper's real-life girlfriend.
  18. So much for the South Beach diet, huh? OTOH, you can go to Mango's and dance all those calories off. Beer in fast food joints is long overdue. Just ask my man Vincent Vega...
  19. We had a game where you drank a whole bottle of Jack when the Bills made the playoffs. The 90s were a blur, but I just got my 10-year sober coin.
  20. The missing $1500 is probably just a glitch in payroll. I'll get one of the Bobs to fix it. In the meantime, you should install a virus in the company's software that deposits the rounded part of the interest for each transaction into your account. Also, think about asking that cute waitress out for dinner and a kung fu movie.
  21. St. Bonaventure Bonnies Philadelphia Phillies To a lesser extent, Syracuse Orange Rule: You have to have lived there for at least 2 years to be a fan.* *Going to the Bobcats game on Monday. 3 more months here and I'll qualify. Yankees fans not from NYC/Tri-state area are poseurs. It's like rooting for the dealer in blackjack. /Science
  22. Like the other 'remember when?' guys here, I didn't know any of those songs by artists/title. To be fair, I gave a short listen to each of them. I recognized 3 (Muse - Uprising, Cavo - Champagne, & Three Days Grace - Break) from hearing them on the radio. I recognized the sampling of 2 (Down With Webster - Rich Girl$ (Hall & Oates), & Kristina DeBarge - Goodbye (Steam?)). It was reminiscent of a lot of the corporate garbage of the 80s that was forced on my generation. To the OP - Dick Clark once said that you shouldn't make fun of someone's favorite music because it is the soundtrack of their life. So I won't do that, but I will say this: Do yourself a favor... make a CD of this list (or keep a playlist on your favorite music device) and look at it again in 15 years or so. You'll remember the times that surrounded these songs, smile, and say to yourself "Wow, that was some bad music." At least, that's what I do when I hear something by Warrant.
  23. Here's a good Vanity Fair article about a sniper.
  24. Bingo. Ever listen to the Bill Simmons podcast (The B.S. Report)? The producer is a guy named Joe Mead. He sounds just like Cera. I keep expecting him to say "She wasn't giving you the evil eye. That's just her face." Bonus: Mead's parents are from Buffalo, so he's a Bills/Sabres fan.
