  1. Both sides went very vanilla once the game was in hand. We even got a couple doses of run, run incomplete just like the old days
  2. He had a nice batted pass and blew up the play that Tyrod threw in the dirt in the 4th. That's all I remember off the top of my head.
  3. Agree those are his normal game stats, however he only attempted 3 passes in the entire 4th quarter, and only 2 after the TD that gave us a 9 point lead. He was on a good pace until we started killing clock to seal the win. Also, crazy how 1 play can change stats so much, but if that INT was caught as an 8 yard TD his passer rating today would've been 122.9 instead of 92.0
  4. He took a pretty hard shot to the back. I definitely wish he would've caught all the balls that hit him in the hands (3?), but I'll give him a pass on that one.
  5. I think McDermott actually said 'I don't know, I might've watched a quarter.'
  6. It's actually a rehashed post from the 49ers thread last year. I looked up all the lines at this link. There's a section near the middle of the page to review closing lines from every week going back to 2006.
  7. FWIW, since 2006 we are 5-0 when favored by a touchdown or more, and we have covered the spread 4 of those 5 times. Week 14, 2007 - Bills favored vs. Miami by 7 points. (W, 38-17) Week 3, 2008 - Bills favored vs. Oakland by 10 points. (W, 24-23) Week 4, 2008 - Bills favored @ St. Louis by 8.5 points. (W, 38-17) Week 17, 2009 - Bills favored vs. Indianapolis by 8 points. (W, 30-7) Week 6, 2016 - Bills favored vs. San Francisco by 7.5 points (W, 45-16)
  8. Also, factor in that they DID get rid of Brissett.
  9. That was one of the things I noticed, though P51 might've addressed that by saying his move was to protect the flat? The other thing that bothered me about Gilmore on that play was that he seemed to visibly give up, which I feel like I've seen far too often.
  10. If the Pats really suck would they trade Brady?
  11. The bolded wasn't this FO. That's not a defense of this incentive bonus move, but it wasn't them twice. They didn't already do it.
  12. If nothing else it gives them the ability to. Certainly making the move will depend on which prospects they like and how the draft ends up falling. All in all I'm excited about our position for building the roster.
  13. So, in other words (McD's to be precise) "We're building a team, we're not accumulating talent."?
  14. I'd probably argue Brown & Bell, but I'd take KC's D/ST over PIT's for sure.
  15. They did replace a lot of known talent with unknowns like Maclin for Hill, Charles for Hunt, etc. I could see the argument either way for them struggling on O. Their D/ST is consistently stellar though.
  16. He started the game, played for a half, and sucked. That isn't without Brady. http://www.espn.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=400554438
  17. Packed highways and no gas at stations seems like a pretty rough spot, honestly. Was talking to a friend who wanted to leave, but wasn't sure it was feasible without getting stranded on a highway.
  18. 12 man league, $50 per person. I won last year, so I'll be in the green for a while. Not sure how this didn't make it into the thread yet... Jerel Worthy‏Verified account @I_AM_Worthy99 10h10 hours agoMore At least we got to see my dawg Gilmore on tv tho
  19. I'll start them every week if it means they suck.
  20. Having an internal debate, do I drop them as my fantasy D/ST? Or do I keep them hoping that I am a curse?
  21. in 2014 they beat the Pats* 41-14 and people questioned whether the Pats* were done. KC finished that year 9-7 and out of the playoffs
  22. They don't want to spend that much on the WR position. It's not about available cap, it's about how they want to allocate the cap space.
  23. From 2006-2016 Denver's record has looked a lot like the Bills' +1 win, outside of the 4 years of Peyton Manning. 9-7, 7-9, 8-8, 8-8, 4-12, 8-8, 9-7 in years without Manning. Ravens stalling has been a more recent occurrance, so not as much of a trend, but 8-8, 5-11, 10-6, 8-8 in the past 4 years doesn't scream 'always in it' to me. I added Seattle because since 2012 they've made the playoffs every year and have gone 11-5, 13-3, 12-4, 10-6, 10-5-1.
  24. Those are the 4 that are consistently in it imo
