  1. The Goodwin drop was pretty rough, yeah.
  2. Bottom 4 QBs on my ratings (so far) are Hoyer, Savage, Dalton, and Tolzien. Dalton score single digits, and Tolzien is my first negative score ever Though I should probably excuse Savage because 13 attempts + 6 sacks probably shouldn't qualify.
  3. No idea on the sweeps, that ish was maddening. I can guarantee McD wants to bury our opponent this week though. Just hope it doesn't bite us like that time NE* tried to run up the score against us and Tyrod strung together some scores
  4. Just went through the play-by-play on espn. We were 9-18 on 3rd down (8-17 on plays, 1-1 on penalties). Feel free to look for yourself. I'm guessing PFR didn't count the one from a penalty as an attempt/conversion.
  5. We're a different team, they're a different opponent. Context matters. This game was never in doubt. If we're playing someone other than the Jets averaging 4.8 YPA passing and 2.5 YPC rushing we probably don't take our foot off the gas so much.
  6. We beat them handily in nearly every facet of the game. A tipped pass in the EZ that turned into a pick and a missed FG are the reasons the score was remotely close. Yards: 408-214 1st Downs: 23-11 ToP: 33-27 Yards per Play: 5.7-3.9 3rd Down %: 47.1-28.6
  7. Brees and Rivers still have to play, of course, but as of today Tyrod is: 14th in Pass Yards 5th in YPA 10th in total Yards 7th in YPT 6th in TD% 8th in Passer Rating I might consider changing my expectations a bit, if I were you. And yeah, this should probably be in one of the Tyrod threads instead. My bad.
  8. So you think they didn't trust him to throw it in the 4th? Not that we had successfully ran all day and could easily kill the clock and ensure a win? Strange take, for sure.
  9. was about to say
  10. I was just thinking dead fish. Though you could argue he's still pretty raw too.
  11. Tannehill...
  12. Shady had a higher YPC than McCown had YPA
  13. If Buffalo players are associated with losing, then they have the better ones right now
  14. In 2015 we were 12th. In 2016 we dropped to 28, but upped the runs.
  15. We've led the league in big plays for the past 2 years in a row, though.
  16. Congrats on yours as well! The O really turned it around after a pretty slow first half for you guys.
  17. His knee was still down when Wood touched him. That's what ended the play, and he touched him before he stripped it.
  18. 16-14, it was his 30th game.
  19. All touches, so pass attempts, rush attempts, and sacks. YPT is Pass Yards + Rush Yards - Sack Yards / Pass Attempts + Rush Attempts + Sacks.
  20. Personally, I use YPT (factors in passes, runs & sacks), TD%, and TO%. Then I weight it by how many attempts the QB had vs the average qb in the same timeframe. I pay attention to red zone & 3rd down efficiency, but I try not to weight stats based on them.
  21. They gameplanned to stop the run, and did it quite successfully imo.
  22. And, while they didn't cover -9.5, they did cover the closing spread of -7.5!
