I see no correlation between that stat and successful QB play. It's also odd terminology, in that I expected it to factor in depth of throw in some regard.
Bit the bullet and switched from QB to WR, and put in the work to try to do well at it. Seems like a good start.
Along that same vein, Braxton Miller has been a healthy scratch for a couple weeks in Houston I think.
And yet, in 2015 he was 14th in sack yards, in 2016 he was 18th, and this year he is currently 18th. When he extends plays, sometimes they count as sacks. If he wasn't looking to throw downfield, they'd be negative runs.
