  1. Catching it is clearly ideal, but even those drops might be enough to open up the run a bit, as it would likely scare the Defense into backing off a bit regardless
  2. Obviously not a division, but the state of Florida in general doesn't seem to care much about NFL Football
  3. A bit of all of the above, plus a few other things like officiating, lack of flow due to stoppages, over advertising, etc.
  4. Yes, I am. That statement is 100% false. Replace 'a QB' with 'another QB' and it'd be true. Replace 'a QB' with 'an AFC QB' and it'd also be true. As you wrote it, it is false and thus confusing since you contradicted it literally 1 sentence prior.
  5. You did, but then you followed it with a sentence saying you have to go back to 2008 to find a QB who won a Super Bowl. Which is completely incorrect, since there is one in 2012. Did you mean another one? or did you mean one in the AFC? Both of those would be true, but you offered no qualifiers...
  6. Because you worded your post very oddly. Russ Wilson was drafted in 2012, and has won a super bowl. You don't have to go back to 2008.
  7. He's going to have 5. Whether they be TDs or INTs remains to be seen. I'm going with 1 TD, 4 INTs.
  8. Don't tell Marcell. He'd get suspended again.
  9. Of course, the record prior to this year (2-14) in those games was when we had a Top 10 scoring offense. But the answer is definitely that we weren't scoring enough when we had those players.
  10. Yes, having good receivers tends to help out QBs. Unfortunately there are many on this board who do not understand this. Are you one of them?
  11. Bold, considering he had 24 through 14 games in 2015 and 23 through 15 games in 2016.
  12. I didn't even mention Tyrod in my post. Not sure how it's an excuse to point out that our receivers could stand to be upgraded. That honestly seems like a gimmie regardless of who is playing QB. And no, I think Tyrod and Watson are both better than Brock or Savage, so I do not think they should have done what Deshaun is. Really weird line of thinking you tried to go down there... Watkins was gone regardless of QB. No idea on Boldin, but it's likely he wouldn't have even signed if we were going forward with a Rook at QB.
  13. They are willing to move on from anyone, if the price is right.
  14. Having Deandre Hopkins and Will Fuller would probably help the offense too, no?
  15. Only if you will preside over the proceedings Starting to look like the DNC in here
  16. Mostly just feedback on what was working, what wasn't, what Tyrod & the O had the highest comfort level with, and what plays they felt would fail as soon as they were called. It was basically just pruning the garden.
  17. Wentz has 1 game in his career with 300 yards and 3+ TDs (Exact same number as TT). He also has 1 with 300 yards and 3 INTs. He's thrown for 3+ TDs in a game exactly twice (his last 2 games). Tyrod's had 6 such games. I'm not even saying Tyrod's better, but please, let's not act like Wentz is beyond reproach at this point. His Front office went out and got him weapons to throw to this past offseason, and it appears to be paying off so far.
  18. Have they really? I would've guessed Miami.
  19. No Hokies and no Bills this weekend. Might turn on RedZone for background noise, might not turn the TV on at all.
  20. They had a better D than ours in '15 and '16
  21. I do not like DVOA for QB/Individuals, that's for sure. For QBs I like ANY/A and my rating system. Have to imagine the discrepancy is due to strength of opposing defenses?
