  1. Looking at the drive chart is mind boggling... First Half: 6 Plays - INT 3 Plays - INT 2 Plays - TD 5 Plays - INT 1 Play - INT 3 Plays - Punt 3 Plays - Punt 2 Plays - INT Second Half: 8 Plays - FG 8 Plays - Fumble 8 Plays - TD 11 Plays - TD 3 Plays - Punt
  2. That sounds an awful lot like something Shady said earlier in the year...
  3. You have the gift of hindsight here and you still can't get it right? Wow...
  4. There were no OL available at 21, 27, or 53 that were worth equal or more than the players I selected.
  5. It's simply experience, or lack thereof. Generally speaking, disguising fronts and getting exotic works on less experienced QBs because they aren't clued into it. What disguising fronts also does is put players out of position at times, or makes the path the their assignment longer. Experienced starters can recognize and punish this.
  6. I think if Hue Jackson becomes available he gets a look.
  7. Hope Peterman wasn't watching Mariota. He did hit 300 yards tho, so some would probably be happy.
  8. Ha, I bought my Tyrod jersey in April of '15 before he won the job. Got my money's worth imo at ~$4 per start.
  9. I'd argue Lynn took it farther, but that's because he simplified the preparation prior to the game and was willing to run the same play twice if it worked. Nevertheless, my opinion on Roman is mastermind run game, questionable approach to prep, and a poor grasp of passing concepts.
  10. No, not nearly the entirety. At Stanford he designed the run offense and Harbaugh designed the pass offense. In SF those responsibilities stayed the same. In Buffalo he deferred the pass game design to the QB & WR coaches. Now in Baltimore his is the run game coordinator. The man has never designed his own pass offense because he isn't good at it. His knowledge base is complex run blocking schemes, and he's a master in that area.
  11. Roman didn't design the pass offense, hence my comment. His preference in play calling was to us a lot of long developing routes, which isn't really all that helpful, but often worked out okay with a QB who bailed on pockets and bought time with his feet.
  12. Roman was excellent when it came to run play design. Less so when it came to prep & reps. Even less so when it came to passing concepts.
  13. Tyrod led offense 9-7 at LA Win at KC Loss vs NE Loss vs Indy Win vs Mia Win at NE Loss at Mia Win Peterman led offense 7-9 at LA Loss at KC Loss vs NE Loss vs Indy Win vs Mia Win at NE Loss at Mia Loss
  14. It's supposed to mean that the gameplan will play to the starter's skillset.
  15. I never said it was. But the only way seeing the most winning we've seen during the drought is a raw deal for fans is if the fans wanted to lose more. That statement is one of the silliest implications I've seen, but not surprising considering the source.
  16. The highest sustained success rate of any Bills QB this millennium is a raw deal?
  17. Doesn't seem realistic, but I'll take what the sim gives me! 21: R1P21 QB JOSH ROSEN UCLA 27: R1P27 DL MAURICE HURST MICHIGAN 53: R2P21 LB ROQUON SMITH GEORGIA 58: R2P26 C MASON COLE MICHIGAN 96: R3P32 RB JOSH ADAMS NOTRE DAME 123: R4P21 EDGE CHAD THOMAS MIAMI 159: R5P21 G BRADEN SMITH AUBURN 161: R5P23 WR BRAXTON BERRIOS MIAMI
  18. Garoppolo is on his last year of his deal and hasn't played yet. Not sure he's a reason yet, maybe if they commit to him with a long term contract though. At this point they're still looking imo. Kizer has been benched almost as much as he's started. If Hue is out, it's likely that the next coach will pick their own QB. Bridgewater isn't the solution anywhere. I swear people either don't remember how he performed before he got hurt, or just weren't paying attention.
  19. I have 3 jerseys. Bruce Smith Pierson Prioleau Tyrod Taylor The Bruce one will get me by until someone else comes along.
  20. The QB landscape in the NFL is set for some pretty major changes this offseason, and in the near future beyond that. Clearly in the market: Bills Jets Dolphins Browns Broncos 49ers Redskins Also possible due to QB age/decline/durability: Steelers Ravens Colts Chargers Giants Vikings Saints Cardinals That's basically half the league.
  21. 20/34 for 182 yards, 1 TD, 2 Turnovers
  22. Good luck kid! We're rooting for you.
  23. I went the 2012 Redskins approach with this one. Unfortunately, not many value options at OL during this sim... 21: R1P21 QB SAM DARNOLD USC 27: R1P27 DL LOWELL LOTULELEI UTAH 53: R2P21 WR DEON CAIN CLEMSON 58: R2P26 LB MALIK JEFFERSON TEXAS 96: R3P32 EDGE JOSH SWEAT FLORIDA STATE 123: R4P21 QB JOSH ALLEN WYOMING 159: R5P21 WR BRAXTON BERRIOS MIAMI 161: R5P23 S STEVEN PARKER OKLAHOMA
