Trading down in the draft?

No, cutting him now is what happens when you manage the 2017 roster instead of the 2018 roster, which is a -$1M savings. -

If you use spotrac's roster manager for 2018 and cut Tyrod it says the savings is $9.45M -
Tre White: "the whole hood want 'em (Gronk)"

Don't be surprised if Jamal Adams is a little extra physical/annoying in week 17 while covering him as well. -
Also a chance that the Pegs like Mike Gesicki I'd imagine. Though he'd obviously be more of a late day 2 early day 3 pick.

He's played 614 snaps for the Rams though. (78%) -

Benjamin needs to be on the field, though. He's played 45 snaps total as a Bill. (That's less than Kaelin Clay & Brandon Tate) -

I was just operating under the idea that a team wouldn't call a pass play if their QB is the only QB in the league that doesn't pass. You'd think, if that were the case, that said team would be last in the league in called pass plays. -

Well you need to be attempting a pass to get sacked. I assume you're actually interested in sack % vs sacks with this question though. Because Stafford has been sacked a lot, because he's being asked to pass. Regardless, Tyrod also isn't alone in sack % in the league so his point is still invalid. Tyrod's 8th. Brissett, Hundley, Cassel, Trubisky, and Bradford all worse. Surprised by Bradford, as Keenum behind the same line has the lowest sack % of starters at 2.44%. -

I thought stats were virtually meaningless, so whats with all the requests? All of the teams are bottom half of the league in YPA. Prescott has a game with a rating of 30.4 (worse than any of TT's games) 3 INTs, no TDs Dalton has a game with a rating of 28.4. 4 INTs, no TDs Mariota hasn't been quite that bad in a single game, but just bad every game. He has the same number of TDs as Tyrod and double the turnovers. His rating on the year is 80.4, compared to TT's 88.6 Because the statement was that Buffalo alone has a QB who doesn't pass much. Do you deny that a Sack results from a called pass play? -

Called pass plays. Attempts + Sacks. Still flawed in that it doesn't account for scrambles or RPOs where run is the correct call, but it'll do. And that's a per game basis based on team, not broken down by QB. (Chicago went from 37 per game with Glennon to 26.8 per game with Trubisky, fwiw) -

Cincy's run game is awful. 30th in yards, T-27th in attempts, 30th in YPC. Tennessee is 7th in yards (exactly 1 yard more than the Bills), 13th in attempts, and 7th in YPC Dallas is 4th in yards, 5th in attempts, and 3rd in YPC Chicago is T-12 in yards, T-15th in attempts, and 10th in YPC Buffalo is 8th in yards, 6th in attempts, and 13th in YPC But again, they aren't throwing. It isn't just a Buffalo thing. And when we had the #1 rushing offense in the league we "ran that much because our QB couldn't throw". In case you forgot. -

So why aren't they throwing more? Cincy has Dalton and AJ Green. Mariota was the #2 Overall Pick. Prescott was OROY last year. Why not throw more than the Bills who "alone have a QB that does not throw the ball a lot". -

Yes yes, you constantly complain about stats because they typically shed light on the BS portions of your terrible takes. I'm sure it's very frustrating. I'm not the one who claimed "In Buffalo and Buffalo alone we have a QB that does not throw the ball a lot." I gave you 4 teams that throw the ball less. Buffalo alone, huh? Take the L and find another hill to die on. -

Does that mean that the Titans, Cowboys, Bengals, and Bears have QBs that don't throw at all? Those 4 have less called pass plays per game than the Bills. -

If he is what he is why do you need to exaggerate to make your point? He is a 3000 yard passer in 14 games with Watkins, Woods, and Hogan He is a 3000 yard passer in 15 games with Woods, Goodwin, and Watkins for 7 games Anyway, this is about our WRs, not QB, as Kirby suggested multiple times. -

KB stays as your X Zay slides inside to the Slot Z is open. My gut says FA, and UFAs that fit the profile we need are Mike Wallace, Taylor Gabriel, Allen Robinson, Kendall Wright. That said, I'd be fine if this slot was James Washington or Calvin Ridley. Re-sign Thompson as WR4 Draft 1 more for depth & development. Add 1 for KR/PR unless a Rook can do it for you. -
I think they mentioned at one point that they didn't want to reset Dawkins' progress mid season by flipping him. They knew they needed him on the left this year and that's where he practiced. Perhaps there's a switch to the right with another full offseason of working on that side, or perhaps he takes over for Glenn or Richie and whoever he replaces is jettisoned. We'll see!
-
I never said 8-8 was good. You said they were bad. 8-8 isn't bad. 4-12 or 0-16 or 1-15 is bad. They can't flip Dawkins right now because Glenn is hurt. I still have faith in Miller at RG. And my point was never that the Bills are a QB away. My point was that the fastest route to success would be to keep all of our draft picks (use them on DL, LB, WR, OL, QB/CB) and bring in Cousins. That is still the case. I never even claimed it was the best route. It's just the fastest one to start winning more football games.

(1) The Cowboys were 8-8 in 2011, 2012, and 2013. They were 12-4 the last year Romo was healthy (2014). They were bad in 2015 because Matt Cassel took over as their QB. Then in 2016 they got Zeke and Dak. They've had 1 sub-.500 season in the last 6 years and it was a year that they lost their starting QB. (2) We have 33 players signed for 2018, 9 of them are OL. I'm not sure that creating more holes at this point is helpful. I believe the players we have can work, but we need to use a blocking scheme that suits them. RT is the only slot that I have no confidence in, but if Glenn can get healthy and either he or Dawkins can flip sides we may have a solution. (3) That is exactly what he is dealing with now in Washington and they aren't in the position we are to remedy than in any way. The Bills can add a day 1 or day 2 OL, plus a weapon or 2 on O for him to throw to/hand off to.
