  1. 1) I don't think Sherman has a personal relationship with Eli, but I could be wrong. 2) Sherman didn't really speak out until Peterman was failing miserably, so maybe we'll hear from him when Geno throws his 3rd pick of the 1st half.
  2. This'll be fun. Good idea GB! AFC North Bengals - Andy Dalton Browns - Sam Darnold Ravens - Mason Rudolph Steelers - Ben Roethlisberger AFC East Bills - Kirk Cousins Dolphins - Sam Bradford Jets - Eli Manning Patriots - Tom Brady AFC South Colts - Andrew Luck Jaguars - Alex Smith Texans - Deshaun Watson Titans - Marcus Mariota AFC West Broncos - Joe Flacco Chargers - Philip Rivers Chiefs - Patrick Mahomes Raiders - Derek Carr NFC North Bears - Mitch Trubisky Lions - Matt Stafford Packers - Aaron Rodgers Vikings - Case Keenum NFC East Cowboys - Dak Prescott Eagles - Carson Wentz Giants - Josh Rosen Redskins - Teddy Bridgewater NFC South Buccaneers - Jameis Winston Falcons - Matt Ryan Panthers - Cam Newton Saints - Drew Brees NFC West Cardinals - Tyrod Taylor 49ers - Jimmy Garoppolo Rams - Jared Goff Seahawks - Russell Wilson
  3. Cousins is the only one of interest on that list.
  4. I picked 220 because 225 is 75% of what the OP is asking for. Thus, by making the list 220 and under it includes everyone who isn't even getting 75% of what the OP wants. Had absolutely nothing to do with Tyrod other than he's included on the list.
  5. Yes, I know we traded for Bledsoe. Bledsoe was also like 6 years younger than Eli is. My statement was about the player and his impact on our success moving forward (Bledsoe went 23-25 as a starter in Buffalo).
  6. They're tied now. The record in that post doesn't include the 2015 opener against the Colts.
  7. Am I a jerk for hoping that Geno throws 6 INTs in the first half?
  8. To me, at least, this would feel a lot like when we signed Bledsoe. That's not a good thing.
  9. Rudolph isn't the 6th ranked player in the draft. He's more likely in the 30-40 range and will likely go between picks 20 & 35. The point is that the cost is high regardless. If you're committing to trading up, you might as well position yourself to actually get the guy you want.
  10. It might be better evidence that you have a bad defense than a capable quarterback.
  11. So in 2016 as many teams in the bottom 10 made it as 2015's top 10? The stat simply isn't correlated with playoffs. There are much better stats to track than that. Also, 1 stat rarely ever tells the story by itself.
  12. Perhaps if they had more than 60 yards to go on more drives there would have been a difference.
  13. In 2016 5 of the top 10 passing yard teams made the playoffs. In 2015 3 of the top 10 passing yard teams made the playoffs. Passing yards are not the stat you're looking for. How about this stat: From 2015-2016 a total of 12 teams held opponents under 24 points 19 times or more. All 12 made the playoffs 1 of the 2 years and those 12 teams accounted for 18 of the 24 playoff teams in the 2 year span.
  14. Aren't the Bills .545 when they throw less than 300 yards this season?
  15. I like the Rams' move a lot better as a model for what we could potentially do. Rams gave up: #15 Overall 2nd Round (43) 2nd Round (45) 3rd Round (76) Next Year's 1st Next Year's 3rd Titans gave up: #1 Overall 4th Round (113) 6th Round (177) If we did the same that would leave us with: 1st overall Selection KC's 1st Rounder 2 4ths 2 5ths 1 6th
  16. I hate trading up for the 3rd choice at QB. Unless 6th pick is on the clock and Rosen is there.
  17. If you're looking strictly at TDs per game, the only way anyone gets close if Tyrod's total TDs of 34 in his 20 starts. Not sure if Brady has any rushing TDs to add in though and quite frankly I don't want to look.
  18. I've got Fitz at 30 starts and 39 passing TDs Bledsoe at 24 starts and 30 passing TDs Tyrod at 20 starts and 27 passing TDs Losman at 18 starts and 15 passing TDs Edwards at 17 starts and 15 passing TDs Flutie at 16 starts and 20 passing TDs Brady at 15 starts and 38 passing TDs Johnson at 13 starts and 14 passing TDs
  19. A lot? Really? That's gotta be sarcasm. 32 games total is 2 years, right? We've had at least 15 starting QBs in that 20 year span. Since 1997 the following are the only QBs with 32 starts: Bledsoe (48) Losman (33) Edwards (32) Fitz (53) Tyrod (39) In reviewing the game logs, Tyrod's 13-7 in home games with 27 passing TDs and 7 Rushing TDs.
  20. It was mostly just to demonstrate that we are far from alone when it comes to lackluster passing performances. That's not to excuse it, just to point out it's not just us.
  21. I just glanced quickly, so maybe I'm off, but since 2015 the Bills are 2-9 when the QB passes for more than 250 yards. Really weird.
  22. Honestly though, how many of our own QBs have started 17 home games in that span?
  23. There's some respected names there. Manning, Newton, Flacco, Dalton, Prescott. Newton's had 4 sub 200 yard games this year. If those guys are planning for 300 passing yards they're failing a LOT. Rodgers, Watson, & Winston weren't mentioned so I don't know why that's a point. Cam: 4 games under 200, 8/11 under 250 Eli: 3 games under 200, 8/11under 250 Really gassing up Hundley? 1 game under 100, 2 under 200, 6/6 under 250 Dalton: 4 under 200, 8/11 under 250 Flacco: 1 under 50, 7 under 200, 10/11 under 250 Tyrod: 1 under 100, 7 under 200, 9/11 under 250
