  1. Isn't that kind of the point? If he would have fallen into the range we would've made the move. He didn't, so we didn't.
  2. Feels like a 4 right now, but that's typical of a roster that was stripped of it's large contracts and is rebuilding and relying on youth at several positions.
  3. He had sports hernia surgery right after the UVA game, and subsequently missed the bowl game and tested poorly because he was still recovering. BTW, look at his numbers this year, he actually sustained the injury in August and played all year with a sports hernia. He's tough and has heart, that's surely appreciated by McD.
  4. I liked Kirk, but I'm definitely happier with Phillips + whoever else we picked up than packaging to move up for Kirk. Harrison was a home run in my book.
  5. DL/EDGE round 1, Parris Campbell round 2.
  6. I feel similarly about Cam Phillips
  7. If I had to guess it'd be either Brandon Parker, DJ Chark, or Fred Warner.
  8. I think Peterman ends up on the PS. I could see Holmes potentially getting released if Streater flashes like he did last year. Washington & Miller are pretty safe imo, Miller moreso than Washington though.
  9. That was a common problem throughout the year though.
  10. Have you looked at the numbers side by side? It's pretty crazy. QB1: 6'4 7/8" 237 lbs 33 1/4" arms 10 1/8" hands 4.75 40 119 Broad 6.9 3-Cone 37 Wonderlic QB2: 6'5" 237 lbs 33 1/4" arms 10" hands 4.77 40 118 Broad 6.86 3-Cone 40 Wonderlic It kind of sucks that the collarbone injury happened for Allen, because he missed out on some good experience while they still had some talent on O. But I think he's further along mentally than some people think. Regardless, I hope he comes together like that guy in Philly.
  11. I like to think of him as a more mobile Flacco. You also hear Wentz a lot due to near identical measurables, same college coach, small conference, etc.
  12. I think the latest he starts is after the bye.
  13. If this is a trend or a connection with Fuente & Foster, look out for Deshawn McClease as a RB when he comes out.
  14. Who cares? He's a Brown. How about McCarron or Nate? They're the ones that will compete with him in camp.
  15. I think the OL will be better simply because of the switch back to a power scheme.
  16. I just find the difference in perspective between the people who have worked with him hands on and the analytics folks super intriguing, and obviously I'm hoping for the best.
  17. Nah, from the Eisen interview
  18. His exact quote wasn't about just his arm strength, but the feeling he got just watching him throw the ball and working with him, IIRC.
  19. For perspective, what teams have gotten A's from him in the past and how did their classes fair over time? Anybody know?
  20. Look, I'm not trying to change your mind at all because I agree that only Allen's play will be the proof in the pudding, but I did find it incredibly interesting that Trent Dilfer (the guy that does the elite 11 camp and works with a ton of the top QBs in the draft) said that the only guys he saw throw like this kid were Elway & Favre. If those are the only 2 names he could come up with that's pretty much generational talent imo.
  21. I'm going to have an Edmunds jersey soon, but I hope I never see him behind center. That said, I had my Tyrod jersey by mid-April in 2015, so I've been there OP.
  22. Aside from Duane Brown I'm having trouble of thinking of someone better. I loved Sergio Render, and he's still a good friend, but as far as NFL goes he bounced around a couple PS's.
  23. Was Wentz wasted in 2016? His WRs were Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor (who was still learning how to catch), Dorial Green-Beckham, Bryce Treggs, and Paul Turner. By the end of the year, his RBs were Darren Sproles, Byron Marshall, and Terrell Watson.
  24. I have evidence that I've done that, but I don't ever remember it
