  1. I hope so too, but I also won't be disappointed if he sits for a bit. Just offering a different take than I've seen presented by most. I think someone made my koolaid with everclear, btw.
  2. I just don't think he's a piece of clay. I think he's a smart QB who has some experience under center, reading alignments, and adjusting protections at the line. He had some footwork issues that he has been working with Jordan Palmer to fix for months and he comes across as very aware of those issues. My impression is that the best thing he can get at this point is more experience - Carson Wentz style. He comes across as a guy who learns best from doing, so if he's even close to AJ in terms of reading & adjusting I'm playing him. He's not a converted TE who's learning how to play QB, he's a QB who needs more experience. And yeah, I know that flies in the face of everything people said previously. That's just my impression of the kid after researching more, watching film again, listening to him talk and field questions, and talking to him briefly.
  3. I got 2 points, assuming the green room wait can go negative.
  4. Nope. Pretty sure in 2012 Seattle expected Matt Flynn to be their starter around this time of year
  5. Both of them have better, more experienced veterans than us, so it makes sense.
  6. Man, I keep thinking we're signing people
  7. Allen Lazard and Akrum Wadley would be great.
  8. Ray Ray was 4.49 at his pro day, Proehl didn't get an invite to even run at the actual combine.
  9. This kid was 0.08s faster at the same size, no? 0.08s over 40 yards is practically irrelevant in actual football
  10. Funny to see the difference in reception between this kid and Ray Ray. Seem to be similar players.
  11. I think 5. Allen, Edmunds, Phillips in rotation this year - sub for Kyle after, Teller, and Johnson at nickel CB
  12. That's exactly why I wanted him! He totally fits the mold that Daboll was used to there.
  13. Replaces Amendola quite well imo.
  14. I prefer Berrios for slot WR and returner, but I'm an amateur. Maybe Braxton will be a UDFA!
  15. It didn't. He didn't have as many flashy pancakes and plays, but he was definitively solid. He had a disagreement with the coaching staff early and got put in the doghouse early, but came back from that and played fine, albeit a tad deflated. But I think he finished top 10 in both pass and rush blocking efficiency.
  16. Graduated Civil in 2010 @ExWNYer @SDS If your kids decide to do the Fraternity thing, I started the Theta Tau (Professional Co-ed, not traditional greek) chapter at Tech. I'd love to bring more Bills fans into the network!
  17. Dawkins, Teller, Groy, Miller, McDermott Please and thank you
  18. He's a road grader who should benefit from the process. Butted heads with the new staff at VT a bit, but a solid talent.
  19. I feel like he will grow much more from live experience at this point than watching. If he was further behind mentally I'd say he should sit and learn, but he has experience under center - reading the defensive alignment and adjusting both protections and routes at the line. I won't be upset if he doesn't start, but I don't think it's his best path to success. I believe this will show through to the staff in camp & preseason.
  20. WR: Equanimeous St Brown Allen Lazard Daurice Fountain Braxton Berrios RB: Kalen Ballage Akrum Wadley John Kelly OL: Tyrell Crosby Jamarco Jones Desmond Harrison Wyatt Teller Bradley Bozeman Edge: Duke Ejiofor Hercules Mata'afa Josh Sweat LB: Josey Jewell Tegray Scales Micah Kiser Mike McCray DB: Anthony Averett Kevin Toliver Brandon Facyson
  21. Please give me Crosby or Settle!!!
  22. He will be playing MLB, with the flexibility to slide to Sam or Will depending on formations. He's also probably going to cover Gronk, so I doubt there will be any cheap shots this year.
  23. There's always Chris Ellis and Ed Wang, though they weren't first rounders.
