UB's secondary was god awful this year, besides Cam Lewis. He was a beast back there. Could be interesting to see if he beats out Taron Johnson.
Sills is an interesting pick up. He could honestly make this team. Wishing for Anthony Johnson too
I feel like people have this mindset that Dawkins was so dominant rookie LT. I actually thought the line took a step back when he had to fill in for Glenn.
When I see Dawkins play, I see Quenton Nelson.
If the Bills are serious about building a nasty line, they will go with:
Nsekhe, Dawkins, Morse, Spain, Ford
I'm saying it now, if Dawkins is the LT over Nsekhe, this team isn't serious about open competition an building the best line.
This pick is what good teams do, draft a replacement a year before the opening. In saying that, what the heck are the Bills doing bringing another RB onto the roster.
Rosen is literally entering the same situation Arizona was in before last year.
Miami is a mess. They will be drafting extremely high, if not first. No doubt they taking a QB next year high.
So if Leaf acted like Manning predraft, who would have Polian drafted? Even Pat McAfee agreed that only reason Manning was drafted was because Leaf didn't show up.
Point is, Polian scouted Leaf and thought he was the better football player.
Irv Smith Jr and its not close.
I personally think there is a pretty large drop off from Smith to Sternberger/Knox/Warring.
Also, Daboll already coached Irv, which I think would help getting him involved quicker.
Would really need to be huge run on WR in the first 7 picks if the Bills take Metcalf.
I would say he is the fifth best WR available right now:
Aj Brown
Parris Campbell
Hakeem Butler
Deebo Samuel
I would even take Irv Smith Jr before Metcalf in terms of receiving targets.
Not in college. I remember Dareus playing some NT in Alabama and was tossing guys to the side. He was blowing up plays and taking the ball into the endzone. If you are that dominant to be that high of a pick, you should be dominating even at NT.
I think this whole nose tackle crap is just an excuse. If the guy is this dominant, he should be putting up stats from either NT or DT.
What I noticed when I watched a decent amount of games from him: entitled, over-penetrates, gives up very easily if immediately doesn't succeed, and got swallowed up too easily.
There is a reason why he was asked to work out as a LB at the combine. The Aaron Donald comparisons are stemming from one measurement, not from his college tape.
One big exception is that Zion was player of the year and Oliver barley put up stats.
Crazy to me why people ignore the production and the question marks with Oliver just because he ran one combine drill extremely quick.
Good. Oliver is becoming the most overrated prospect this draft. The guy is a whiner, who overcommits. All I hear about with Oliver is that he needs the right situation to succeed. Taking a guy like that 3rd overall would be fine with me, seeing as though that's not the Bills.
It terms of talent, it depends on what you are grading. Jones is way more athletic than Eli. Jones is a lot like Josh Allen it his ability to move at his size.
