  1. I like the thread myself! Trying for the 3rd is what I like about the 10 and 44 for 12, 33, and 108 trade, its a 3rd round value trade wise. If not the 10 for 12, 108 and 145, gives similar value.
  2. This sounds like one of the more plausible high end trade backs options, Whaley has a history of using the trade value chart and swapping picks within a round like the Rams draft trade in 2013. The value is scewed in Buffalo's favor, but trading up you usually end up on the short end of the stick by a little. Moving up 11 spots in the second is enough points wise to get it done by 20 points, but there is usually a little sweetner attached, and a 4th to move up and get the QB could get Buffalo to say yes to Cleveland vs. potentially another team. Basically a 3rd round pick value wise to move up and secure your QB, should be palatable, at least more so IMO than some of the other over the top offers Ive seen posted here. Its not trading up to #1 from #3 for a Andrew Luck prospect were talking about here... Edit: Here is the draft order from the league as it currently is: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000788234/article/2017-nfl-draft-order-for-all-seven-rounds
  3. Picks 108 and 145 which are the first picks in rounds 4 & 5 are slightly in the Bills favor point wise according the to trade value chart Whaley has used before, and seems fair to me in a 2 spot move up. It is after all 2 spots.... Pick 10 for 12, 108 and 145 would be a good trade down for Buffalo in this draft IMO.
  4. I always enjoy talking about this stuff and conversing with knowledgeable people, enhances my knowledge and I love picking up things I miss and getting different views on all related things. I think I counted 26 (? - quick count, not official, lol) plays on the breakdown site in the USC game for Fabian, but I am pretty sure there are some gaps in it, fwiw, including the 4th quarter. USC had to have ran 80+ plays in that game. I dont know if he got subbed out, hurt or pulled in the game, but I have had some discrepancies in the past with their content. I really have no idea if its just me or not... I would hope the college all 22 will be a reality sooner rather than later myself!! I surprised it isnt a reality yet, I know plenty of people who would pay for it. I would love to help, 10 years ago I'd be "all in", but since then my life evolved. If you would like to message me or add me as a friend, I could probably contribute a little from time to time if you would like.
  5. I hadnt noticed how reactionary he is in press until you said that and I focused on it, fair enough. You are certainly right at the LOS, he is timid and passive, his hand placement is horrible, appears to me he is not aggressive and does not initiate the contact, but rather is hesitant and waits for the WR to make his move when he is in press. Ill have to go back and look at my notes from the season and see if I noted anything like that in the games I watched live. This hinders his ability in coverage for sure. That TD to JUJU, he needs to jam immediately, not wait for JUJU to make his move, he is reacting instead of initiating and throws off his timing, he ends up in good position via. his closing speed, but doesnt turn his head to play the ball at all, which was an issue I recall in all the games of his I watched and certainly on that play. On the slant TD, he gets "rubbed" by the slot receiver on the slant/flat pick play, really hard to pin that on him with J. Brown not getting depth in his drop as he is held up by the official and does not provide the support that it looks like he was designed to give. Moreau still almost makes the play and doesnt try to jam the WR, allowing for his natural athleticism to shine IMO. Looking at this heads up man certainly seems to be his strong suit or off man, not bump n' run. Looks to me like a big problem is that in bump n' run he does not keep his feet under his shoulders on his shuffle steps and loses his balance and over extends his feet and hands as a result, this is a problem I have had coaching before and is hard to coach out of players. Are you going off the draft breakdown for the 6 zone plays? Regardless, he made plays in zone and handled his responsibility, which is what my memory (granted it iffy at times) of him is in zone, in general and I think he can handles zones given what I have seen of him. Moreau's arm length does not match up vs. last years draft picks and those type of C3 zone corners, he's w/in a 5/8th of a inch of Sherman, but it is a game of inches.... C3's certainly are about forcing perfect passes and I get the geometry of it, certainly a good point and one I hadnt considered with him. I think you've sold me on him not fitting as well as I thought initially although I dont think he's a square peg in a round hole completely, Im a big R. Douglas fan and thought he'd be a second round fit for Buffalo, now Im thinking it even more so. I think it would fit McD's teams drafting of receivers after the first round history. I appreciate the response
  6. I seriously think having Peppers ahead of Adams and Peppers as a Safety is the most obsurd ranking related thing he's ever published.
  7. I'm with you on Johnson, I have 5th or 6th (?) developmental grade on him. What in particular do you think Dawkins issues are that gets worse at guard? Your passion is contagious.... 😉
  8. I would disagree that Moreau isnt a fit. While I do think he is a good man press/bump'n run type mirroring corner, he made plays in zone throughout the season. A game that illustrates this IMO is vs. USC and "2018 #1 pick S. Darnold", he picks Darnold off out of what looks like a Tampa 2 zone, and there are a couple other times in that particular game where Darnold looks Moreau's way in zone coverage, but Moreau has his guy covered and Darnold throws the ball away. I do agree that he panics and gets grabby (most of the CB's coming out do) down the field and would say he needs to work on getting his head around and reacting quicker in general down the field when in man.
  9. He's got to be doing it to generate clicks and give the people something to talk about, just because he can play some offense and played LB in college does not mean he's a better Safety prospect than Adams or Hooker, or Baker for that matter. If he says Peppers is a better safety prospect than Adams or Hooker because his tape is better at the position, then he's trolling for sure. "He can play RB, LB and is not good in coverage (but he could handle coverage ) and only generated one turn over (FF) and intercepted (a nice athletic play to catch the ball) a tipped pass, not actually making a play on the ball in coverage." #1 Safety??? Who ever takes him, better have a plan. I find it comical... Is it me or is Johnson one of the most un-coordinated "top" prospects in recent memory at tackle? Personally I would try Robinson and Dawkins at tackle, then move them inside if need be, with Dawkins imo being a better guard prospect then tackle, but a capable tackle prospect to start with. Peppers hype train is rolling, practical application? indeed...
  10. Given what they run coverage wise defensively at UCLA, I could not agree more with this assessement, fits the Bills D very well. I think the Bills are more likely than not to go corner in round 2, and if Moreau is there he's the pick, if....
  11. If the Bills agree with them being 1st round values and take one of them at 10, 👍🏻. Personally I think they are and have been setting them selves up for it to be a strong possibility, Watson is a realistic possibility as well at 10. My only hope is it's not Kizer at 10.
  12. Love Thompson in the 5th round as a FS playing the SHS (SHS -man, or any zone coverage) safety role, I think he could start early in that role. Like Evans alot in the 3rd round myself.
  13. Sign me up for scenario 3. Mahommes is my #1 QB and Davis #1 WR. Scenario 3 - Rd. 1 - Davis Rd. 2 - Mahommes
  14. Very solid, not sure Baker or Robinette make it that far, especially Baker after his pro day now (more than ever). If one were to believe the concensus feeling on Davis, it's entirely possible they could move back and still get him. Trading back would be great and staying at 10 could easily net the Bills a great player, either way I like the position there in, I think there will be options for them and good ones at that.
  15. I am in the same mindset with this for the most part if they go with a non-QB (which I would) at 10. I like Howard as a darkhorse and while I dont think Soloman Thomas will be there at 10, if he is I think he's the pick, Hughes and Lawson are more natural RDE's, and I dont think either is comfortable playing at LDE. Do you think Hughes could be trade bait?
  16. I am seriously doubting they go WR in the 1st, and would love Zay Jones in Rd. 2, despite thinking he'll be gone by 44.
  17. Davis, I could live with Williams, but its Davis for me all day and twice on Sunday, I am starting to prefer Ross 2nd to Davis I think he's a better complement to Sammy and fit with Tyrod's ability to throw deep, fwiw.
  18. Zay Jones might be there at the Bills pick in the 2nd (not taking a WR in the 1st would make him a logical pick in the 2nd), him being available in the 3rd would be shocking IMO at this point.
  19. Yeah at KR, I wish he had returned more punts in his college career I dont think he did until returning a couple punts his senior year. He can still help in sub packages and move out and cover speed guys on the perimeter when needed as a corner. The secondary is backing up the tape with the athleticism, Tedric Thompson from Colorado put up a 4.6, a quality FS in the 5th? Yessir. Was watching the Buffs secondary with Awuzie (4.43) and Weatherspoon (4.45) a while back and thought Thompson was the most NFL ready now in a SHS/C3 or primary zone defense role, especially as a centerfielder, he reads the QB's eyes well and is really good in coverage on the back end. IMO he's a steal after the 4th round.
  20. "Nothing to see here folks, just cementing my spot in the top 10." Conley: 4.44 helps himself 2 of my guys: Douglas: 4.59 semi disappointing Myrick: 4.29 Ron Brooks with skills K. King: 6'3" 4.44, earned some cash Tankersley: 4.4 ditto Tabor: 4.63 ouch H. Wilson: 4.58 disappointing a bit.
  21. gastroesophageal draft reflux disease Regurgitation: A common symptom of horrible drafting is regurgitation -- or the sensation of acid backing up into your throat or mouth, upon drafting a project like Peppers with the 10th pick in the 2017 NFL draft . Regurgitation can produce a sour or bitter taste, and you may experience a "wet burp" or even vomit some contents of your stomach. ^^
  22. We'll know a little more about Peppers after the DB drills tomorrow, but he should have done the RB drills, not LB.
