  1. That's a ...high quality... halloween costume.
  2. Chiefs offense firing on all cylinders. Bills offense running with burnt spark plugs. Hope I'm wrong, but I see an ugly loss with the offense looking inept after abandoning the run. I still believe this team will turn it around, just not this week. 23 - 13 chiefs. But I'm hoping to eat crow on Monday.
  3. I hate that you're correct. Nothing against you. I'm just worried the front office might consider Gabe to be the answer at WR for the season.
  4. Wasn't this how Josh was in the weeks leading up to Dorsey getting canned? He'll do his 5 step drop. His reads aren't open, he bails early on the pocket. Then he looks dejected and helpless on the sidelines. Is Brady not running plays where the routes match the qb drop? Are the wrs not where they need to be? Or is it Josh? Probably a combination of all. But it's still on Brady to get this working.
  5. Brady is trying to make this offense into something it's not. This isn't LSU. The Bills don't have Jefferson and Chase. Design plays to utilize player strengths. And go with formations that put your best 11 on the field. I like Keon. But he's not ready. Maybe he never will be, but he needs development.
  6. Jordan Hancock, currently on the depth chart behind two terrible safeties, was a starter for OSU last season.
  7. A lot of people saw the rankings/ points per game last year, and assumed that the offense was good. I thought the offense (and Brady) struggled last year as well. How many times did we see Allen bailing the team out in 3rd and long after negative plays on 1st and 2nd down? How many times did Josh have to miracle the offense on 4th? How many tush pushes saved drives? How many short fields did the the D give them by leading the league in TOs? This isn't a great WR corps. But a good coordinator could scheme open Shakir, Moore, Palmer, Kincaid, and Cook. And who's job is it to teach these guys to run a scramble drill?
  8. Hand the defense the Ryan Nielsen. I've been anti-Brady since last season. Putting up 30 a game was on Josh being superman, and the defense leading the league in turn overs.
  9. Well you have to know if it fits, for when you really need it.
  10. Single father with a toddler here. I don't have the time to get into this kind of analysis, so thank you guys. I have a genuine question for you. What seems to be the identity of this passing offense? To me, it looks like Brady still doesn't know what he wants the passing offense to be. They're have been a few drives this season where the passing looked quick and decisive. I loved seeing it as I think it opens up the rest of the offense. People say the WR corps is terrible. I don't necessarily agree with that take. Kincaid is elite, Shakir is a good slot. Palmer and Moore have had success as separators. So what's the deal? Anyway, thanks again.
  11. The offense has no sense of rhythm or flow with the playcalling. Just seems like random plays. Brady seems to be able to design plays. But doesn't know when to call them. It's been like this for a while, going back to last season.
  12. He was really good at getting in the backfield at Baylor. Some guys just seen to have the timing instinct for blitzing. Bernard has it.
  13. BS. Some rock band that used to be part of my workout playlist from 20 years ago should be the halftime show. Seriously, why do people get upset about these things? Bad Bunny has been a huge music star for the past few years. He has cross-over appeal in US acting (SNL and Happy Gilmore 2). He makes bass heavy music with beats and rhythms that make people want to dance. And he's in a large demographic that the NFL has been trying to trap into. This makes a ton of sense and I'm not even a fan of his (though I'll admit my hips will move a bit when my wife puts his music on).
  14. You see his guns? Looks like he's replacing leg day with arm day.
  15. Yes. My answer to this question is yes.
  16. After bringing in coaches Nielsen, and Rebrovich, I was hoping to see a much improved pass rush. That's what these guys are about, no? Perhaps it's too soon to expect an impact.
  17. Kincaid is a good route runner. Palmer is a separation guy. Moore has had success with jag QBs. Shakir is good. Cook is very good. So it's it really a personnel problem, or a scheme problem. The first half today looked great for the most part. 4th quarter against the Ravens was amazing. The rest has been pretty sloppy.
  18. This is the kind of passing game I've been wanting to see. Short to intermediate quick passing game opens up big plays, screens, and runs.
  19. At least it wasn't spinal.
  20. I understand both sides of this. The Bills put up 41 on Baltimore. That's great. No one is mad about that. They got the win. But so often there seemed to be no rhythm on offense. Primarily in the first 3 quarters. Bills had to scratch and crawl for every inch then rely on Josh to be superman on 3rd and long. Meanwhile, the Ravens run well timed/executed screens, Lamar throws to guys schemed open. Brady has done a great job developing a run game. But the passing game needs work. We don't have the best receiving corps in the league. But they're not jags either. Shakir, Palmer, and Moore can get it done, I believe.
  21. A weaker arm doesn't put enough velocity on the ball to leave time on the clock. Literal split-second later and the Bills lose those 3 points.
  22. If Bass' confidence was shaken before...I can't imagine what this is doing for him. Either way, I hope he gets right. Bass is young with a huge leg.
  23. Quinton Morris was TE3 for a few seasons. Seemed like every year, he would have 4 catches total. But each was always a big clutch play. Here's to Hawes continuing the tradition.
