Aaron Rodgers has knocked all the rust off and has his first great game of 2018 Week 5 Tennessee: Win 20-14. It's good to be home. Week 6 at Houston: Win 17-10. The injury bug strikes again. McDermott has his team motivated after the brutal win the week before. Bye Week- At the bye the Bills are 7-3 Bills fans everywhere start saving their pennies for a playoff run. Week 12 Jacksonville: Loss 28 - 7. Bills come out flat after the bye week. Week 13 Miami: Loss 24 - 20. It's okay, we're 7-5 the playoffs are ours. Players party in Miami, Zay Jones gets arrested. Week 14 New York Jets: Win 20- 10. Jets turn out to be mediocre. Bills sweep them and move to 8-5 Week 15 Detroit: Loss 17-14 we lose a heart breaker and drop to 8-6 Week 16 New England: Win 31-10. Belichick announces his retirement as the Patriots have their worst season since 2000. Bills 9-6 Week 17 Miami: Win 20-17 The Bills go 5-1 in the AFCE as the Patriots dynasty collapses, the Jets don't click, and the Dolphins aren't quite good enough. 10-6

I hated the schedule because we're only home 2 of the first 7 weeks (and 1 of those weeks is Canadian Thanksgiving, that buggers up life around my house). I loved the schedule because it steers clear of Christmas, and my Father in laws 90th birthday. You take what you get, there's good and bad in every schedule every year. If we were front loaded people would complain that our playoff chances were shot because we would be on the road in those critical late season games.

I was finishing off my Christmas shopping yesterday and stopped in at the Bills store. A quick message to my sister in law and I got a lightning fast answer 'No Bills stuff for your nephews. They hate football. Unless it's a hat for their baseball teams forget about it'. I started thinking about my 7 nephews and nieces and what sports they follow, if any (all but 2 are over 30) One nephew is into football, but only college and only Michigan (he went there). Two nephews are into the NBA and soccer. The two other nephews aren't into sports, both have been to a Bills game with me. They had a great time, but they're only coming on a free ticket. The two nieces only watch hockey. How strong the football legacy in your family? I used to love watching football with my Dad, but NFL fandom seems like it will die out with me.

I swore I would never buy another Bills jersey, but Tre'Davious White is challenging my resolve.

Every 10 games or so the Bills win 1 of these. The long season is wearing on Brady, the effects of 3 extra playoff games to end the 2016 season, his age, getting hit a lot the last few games, the colder weather. Gronk's brutal hit on White is fresh in everyone's minds. The Bills should be pumped for this one. I think this is the 1 in 10.

White is a young player with a solid reason to go after Gronk. I can see White playing lights out in this one, we already know he's good, this time he has extra motivation. Brady is finally showing his age. I'm going with the shock win.
