  1. Exactly. We've all been on both sides of the glory hole at the I-90 welcome center. Nobody has the right to judge.
  2. bye bye Johnny....make sure you stop at Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars on your way out the door.
  3. Another positive is that there is a good chance that Revis will be gone as well unless they can work a new contract or decide to pay him $25M.
  4. This story is trending now as well, FWIW
  5. they should request past bank statements and make him explain any large deposits that aren't regular paychecks.
  6. I bet Rex tries to lure him out of retirement. He's only 32, he knows Rex's D, and he's familiar with Buffalo. He could still be a decent backup, but here or in Cleveland would probably be his only choices.
  7. Peters.....the tackle duo of Glenn & Peters would be the best in the league.
  8. Hmmmmm...... Patriots: best ever at not fumbling the ball over the last 5 years and it isn't even close. http://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/blog/?p=2932
  9. Marrone’s tenure in Buffalo ended on December 31st of last year, when he opted out of his contract and nutlessly informed his players via mass text.
  10. yes, the NFL provides all kicking balls to all teams. Not the home team.
  11. So in two weeks, the Pats have dug up two different rule changes that the NFL has to address in the offseason. All this, while arguably being the best team in football. I don't think that Belichek does it for an advantage, he does it because he's addicted to this stuff. It's like an employee stealing money from the register on payday. There's no need for it, just want.
  12. [This is an automated response] The thread is no longer contributing positively to the community and therefore the discussion has been closed. Thank you.

  13. Lee helped Fitz throw 24 TD's. He's a miracle worker.
  14. Your balls were just right today
  15. This article says differently: According to NFL rules, home teams are required to provide 36 balls for outdoor games and make the balls available for testing with a pressure gauge prior to the game. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2015/01/19/nfl-reportedly-investigating-if-patriots-used-deflated-footballs-in-afc/ This one says differently: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2015/01/report_patriots_may_have_deflated_footballs_for_af.html An NFL football must be inflated with between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds of air per the league's rule book. In addition, home and road teams must each provide 12 game balls to be inspected by the league 135 minutes before game time. The home team also has to have 12 reserve game balls on hand to be tested.
  16. So if this is true, it was done to benefit the Pats offense and maybe limit turnovers due to the weather? The Colts would have used the same footballs that they always use if the above is true.
  17. It does, but you still have to put yourself in the position to be around in January. Thats where 'It's a passing league' comes into play. You can win some games during the regular season throwing 45 times, but in a playoff game where both teams have their backs against the wall, you have to be able to mix it up effectively.
  18. Thats the truth, too. Another example is how the Pats approached the playoffs, this season and last. Pass all year and then when it's crunch time, give it to Blount 20 times a game. It worked for them until they met the Broncos D in the AFC championship. It didn't surprise me when they signed him again this year, halfway through the season. No doubt Belichek had the playoffs in mind.
  19. So instead of seat licenses, they're taking all of the current season ticket holders seats away and having everyone pick new ones based on tenure. Not a bad idea for some of the smaller markets or teams that have trouble filling a stadium.
