  1. Of course when playing 8 yards off the line 2 seconds is plenty, but their TE was targeted more then Knox and Chase was uncovered for a TD. The two deep shots were then called PI's too.
  2. 13 seconds was the worst and how anyone can debate that I don't understand. Yesterday was an embarrassing performance by the Coaching staff. Ill prepared and completely lost out there. I will repeat again as bad as that first quarter was, they did make it 14-7 and then "held🤣" Cincy to a fg. The Bills were first down @ the Cincy 41 with a 1:00 to go and should have minimum got a FG and then imploded. Ball to start the second half and again first and goal and three pathetic play calls. Could have been 21-17 or 17-17, stead still 17-10 and needed one 3 and out. No it was just a lousy game. 13 seconds ripped my heart out.
  3. Actually he did and both times the Bills were called for pass interference. Yesterday was a garbage game exacerbated by putrid coaching. There wasn't a single play call where you could say "Boy the coach made a great call there". The team came out flat and when they needed a play or to make the right call they failed miserably. Cincy punted 1X all game (they would have gone for it on 4th & 1 the other time).
  4. Well I'd say the Bills would win much more with Allen as the QB, then McD without Allen. Seen the same with Brady & Belichek (and Brady is 45).
  5. Wait, but I was told all year that the Bills had one of the best Defences in the NFL and were ranked 4th DVOA and at the top all year long. Now we know there were injuries and that accepted, but now after one game we are finally seeing how bad the D is? Everyone saying anything earlier this year was shouted down. Now it is about talent and coaching again getting a pass. Again I repeat 2 drives January 2, nothing learnt and then the first two drives yesterday and the same result. Cincy punted once the first half yesterday and once on 4th & 1 from midfield. Colossal coaching failure.
  6. And again let the coaches off the hook. Baltimore almost beat Cincy without Lamar. Are they more talented on offense? They sure looked it moving the ball. Are the Bills so bad on Defense that Cincy set a record for Playoff first downs? Really two drives January 2 and first two drives yesterday and absolutely no Defense is just they are so much more talented?
  7. Sounds like a Allen fan and not far off. Regardless this team is/was on the cusp, however were completely outcoached and embarrassed yesterday. Coaches got off easy in this video.
  8. Allen or McD, make a choice. Without Allen this is a 5-6 win team.
  9. Yep we're all coming out of the woodwork.... How many pointed to that game months ago and said that something was wrong, only to be shouted down by the "Pro McD" crowd? Do a search and as I've said there were many saying those catchphrases "Just Win" "Winning in the NFL is tough" "We have targets on our backs and teams take their best shots", "13-3" anytime the GB and any game after the bye came up......
  10. No it was the Coaches. Cincy, with a bad OL, had 3 out and still dominated. After two drives January 2, the Bills come out and allow 2 TD drives yesterday at home. 14-7 and just before half as bad as everything was going the script easily could have been flipped, but terrible coaching & play calling. First & goal to start the second half and again three dud plays. Cincy did not steamroll Balt two weeks in a row at home (and Huntley moved the ball). TB dominated them for a half too. If it makes you feel better that Cincy talentwise is superior, go ahead, I disagree.
  11. Remember he took a 7-9 team (they threw the last game the prior year) to 9-7 and the playoffs his first year. Oh & he started Nathan Peterman vs. SD (and had him the starter the following year too). An offensive genious (savant).
  12. Of course not. I'm asking why he always get's a pass? I think he has hindered Josh too, more then helped him and he's the Bills most important asset.
  13. Unfortunately that will be the case. Has he done a good job in any playoff game? Kept Jax close, but since zero funds or care about offense, scored 7 points. Crucial errors after a big lead vs. Houston. Indy closer then it should have been and very close to losing it. Baltimore did a great job vs. Lamar, but again tighter then need be. KC was the better, more experienced team (got to be honest). NE - Josh's perfect game 13 seconds an abomination Miami almost blew it. Cincy - Unprepared.
  14. But listen to some here and they'll tell you DVOA and how good the "D" is. Sean is as much to blame (probably more then Frazier) for 13 seconds. They called two time outs and still blew it. McD get's a pass again?
  15. I was about to write the exact same thing.
  16. And I like to be comfortable watching a game. Driving 4-5 hours, tailgating in may be less then ideal weather and then trudging too and from the stadium, I'm a wimp and would love to not then be shivering (or wearing multiple layers).
  17. There was a famous Grey Cup game where that was exactly the case. https://cooperstownersincanada.com/2012/11/23/special-grey-cup-entry-remembering-the-1977-staples-game/ Edmonton won their Semi-Final 38-1 and were favourites. Montreal (who squeaked through their Semi-Final) were prepared and had staples in their cleats on an icy field. Final score was 41-6.
  18. And what blame does McD get. Does he twittle his fingers all week and not discuss with Dorsey & Frazier concepts and play calls? Oh and 13 seconds lay smack dab on him.
  19. Watching the Niners/Cowboys game and perfect conditions where the play on the field determines the outcome? Oh and comfortable fans? Nah, who wants that?
  20. Who says Picket, Zach Wilson, Skylar Thompson, Brissett aren't great QB's?
  21. Yes the Bills on D too often hope for a break (i.e. a fumble, tipped ball or bad throw int) that wasn't going to happen vs. Cincy. The Offense is a mess (that Allen usually disguises with his playmaking ability). You mean it was the coaches fault?😉😝
  22. They saw the same thing less then 3 weeks ago and basically allowed a TD every time? C'mon we know Josh did that vs. an inferior NE Pats last year, but this was at home & the playoffs. Inexcusable.
  23. There's no way around it, the Bills were not ready yesterday. January 2 they saw the Bengals walk down the field and score the first possession and yep moving the ball again the second one. Yesterday the exact same thing, two possessions 14 points. How are they not prepared and coached for that? Four straight drives by Cincy and no resistance by Buffalo. Even then somehow the Bills got a stop and then made it 14-7. Again followed by a long drive and a fortuitous call and only 17-7, the ball with under 2 minutes and the 3rd quarter kickoff coming. First & 10 at the Cincy 41 and three unforgettable plays and a missed opportunity. Second half, they are first and goal and another three terrible play calls and an FG. Cincy again follows with another long drive for a TD and the game is essentially over, however when they need a first down on 3rd and two, they call a low % long pass (and yes Gabe "big drop" Davis does it again). So when does McD take responsibility or his feet put to the fire?
  24. Here is an interesting stat (from ESPN). The second half of the season for Diggs was not as smooth, with 985 of his 1,429 regular-season receiving yards having come in the first nine games and seven of his career-high 11 receiving touchdowns. Diggs showed frustration on the sidelines at other times this season, including when McDermott consoled him during the Bills' Week 11 win against the Cleveland Browns. They were awful in getting him the ball and when they did even then it was often forced.
  25. It was both sides. The Bills though there were concerns were 14-3 (three one score losses) and then at home in the playoffs came out flat, had no answers and turtled. An embarrassing performance.
