  1. I want to discuss.. The players that were backups to highly graded starters. We want them.
  2. I know head-to-head is all that, but going with some sort of point total could create a cross conference completion that everyone would enjoy, at least for a championship extravaganza. So many fun ideas when starting up a league. Multiple conferences. Knott’s Landing anyone ☺️
  3. I’m in if you’ll have me. 15 year dynasty league vet here. I’m currently in only three to four leagues per year, three of them long established, and one that I do for the work dudes and ladies when there’s excitement. Yahoo, ESPN, myfantasyleague, and I’ll figure out whatever other platform. I have but one dynasty team, so I’m thirsty for another go at it. I don’t daily, so it’s not like that. I’m an owner, not a renter ☺️ Two conferences that meet in the Super Bowl. The two can share players.. the big bash at the end would be interesting having perhaps a couple shared interests ☺️
  4. I’ll give two alternatives to signing that man straight away. Draft an RB in a later round. Hell, spend a couple picks late, and see if something sparks in TC. Then deal Cook. Beane is not doing contract talks until after he squeezes Cook tighter with two “maybe” RBs in the draft. For the rookies personally, what an opportunity… but you have to get over that you were drafted partly to upset Cook’s negotiations. Hope Cook sees that coming. Or, sign or trade for a vet. A couple RBs fit this bill each off season. Things happen with good players and they become available. I think Cook shouldn’t have taken to the airwaves. In this spot, bad form. Unless all he cares about is this contract, and not his situation. Or maybe he just wants out of the City of Buffalo. That’s a very real possibility.
  5. Got it. I’m no BB, but I know that. It’s been awhile, agreed? Like since the advent of the TV 🤣 Some team might just allow him to be a novelty to sell tickets. Everybody here, so far, acting like that doesn’t happen.
  6. People startin’ to realize Cook can’t be missed. We need that man. That, and people startin’ to realize it ain’t OUR money!—alls we want is the winner. And +Cook is a step in that direction; and -Cook is a step away from that goal—Anyway you cut it. No, he’s not getting $15m, but Beane will sign him. I’d guarantee it.
  7. The visiting team has no idea which stadium they’re playing in until JA17 delivers the news
  8. No question? ☺️ Why? Nobody has ever done it. What makes him so special?
  9. I have dreams of watching him separate with 30 yards of daylight to paydirt and only a corner with speed+angle could catch him. If pass pro is the only thing keeping him form being a three down back for 2+ seasons (apparently this is my new window for his useable talents at a $12.5/yr contract 😂) then Cook and Brady need to figure that out, which THEY CAN. Cook is ascending, and I’m in the camp of paying him as that threat on offensive / not losing our second best player in back to back seasons, this time because of money.
  10. These apps are crappy for live TV. That’s my only gripe at this sad point.
  11. Bingo. Or, Beane concentrates on upcoming draft; will get back to Cook after — Not interesting in carrying on at the moment
  12. No Cook would be such a downgrade. It took three years for him to arrive. We’re not getting anywhere near 2024 Cook production from a rookie and increased playing time Davis. I really am surprised by the acceptance of No Cook around here. I know, the contract. But really who cares? I just don’t think Beane can ruin the franchise by signing up Cook, if that’s what it takes, and then riding him for two+ seasons as the Bills try to win a title. He’s ascending. We’re at a strange where the alternate to paying Cook is a massive downgrade and unacceptable, in my opinion.
  13. Hunter. He’s dead set on playing both ways. Full. I’m not doubting him. Crazy things have happened. This would be unprecedented in the Super Bowl era?
  14. So this is the guy that’s going to take too long to kick away
  15. Changing the people. Problem is the biggest problem isn’t going anywhere. Can’t buy him out.
  16. I can’t watch it. All game long I was fearing a JJW99 game defining lame statement play, and a JA17 freakout. Was I not entertained?!?!?!
  17. I was never for Ayuk. He’s a #2. With San Francisco, his production developed as that. That ship has sailed until He turns the tide—because his team isn’t doing him any favors based on what they’re going through (modern day rebuild). Palmer is the better deal. I doubt Ayuk is even on the Bills radar at this point unless things change. Like the forever radar. And he complains about contacts.
  18. A top EDGE from a school so small would be a first in the business based on last year’s ESPN’s rankings. Risky. Almost anll are from big time schools. Except Maxx
  19. I think it’s clear what Beane thinks is the path to a ring. And he knows more than us, all things considered. We are talking about going Mach 9 and pushing for Mach 10. Garrett would’ve made that push instantaneous, but now, could Beane have ever given him that kind of money? So we have Beane retaining and adding guys that inch us along Mach 0.1 at a time until we get there, and he’s probably saying- Hey, if any one of you guys wants to be the rocket ship, please, by all means, there’s the field— go get it!
  20. Do you think Cook backs off that, and “settles” for a consensus that we could swallow— that three or four year deal in the $12.5m year range? Don’t get me wrong, I do not care if Beane overpays right here. He has saved a lot of money on this round of contracts for young + good/vg players. Hey, it’s not our money! 😂 and I don’t think Beane would ruin the day with a Cook overpay (<— 😁) What I mean by the past being irrelevant,, those other guys in years past that Beane couldn’t retain… there was no MVP Josh Allen bargaining chip. So irrelevant to now. Now, pay Cook and I have my worries. He’s brother took the money and ran. Period. I hope James doesn’t do that. But nobody can guarantee that..
  21. Sorry, this off season. The past is irreverent regarding the here and now of negotiations. Also apologize. My later post has the questions I’m ignorant to about what Cook wants. Of course no player gets what he wants.
  22. What does he want again? 😂 $12m. I honestly forget at this point. It’s not $15m right, because that’s outta line. 3 years, $35m—$40m range with a bunch of team guarantees. That’s what I’m saying. He’s not a Bill for $10m/year as I think some here believe Beane should draw a line in the sand. I do not. Beane cannot spare this man. He fights.
  23. Near what he wants. I really do. I think the point being made is Shut up and I’ll pay you. Beane has knocked down EVERY contract with ease and let’s be honest, hometown discounts. All of them. What Bill has gotten away for big money?? There’s no way we want to go into OUR BEST CHANCE at a Super Bowl of the Allen era (again.. for like the third time- 2022,,..) without Cook’s weaponry. He’s an asset on the field and that can’t be argued against. Of course we want him here. Look at our receivers..
  24. I remember that being a pop up trick question for fans during broadcasts in the 90s. Unless I’m completely making that up. I actually never knew. Big surprise was Talley’s fifth season. They really needed to overhaul the linebacker room save Talley to make the run.
