In some ways, this is worse than the drought in my opinion
Thrivefourfive replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. The drought and for the old guys, the 70s and 80s, had a lot of Bills football comedy. You’d watch just to laugh at it. Nobody in their right mind gets fired up and all heartbroken over a 2-12 team 🤣🤣 So emotionally, this is worse, immediately. Long run though, @Einstein you crazy. The drought was bleak my friend. Like a “we are never going to have a coach or a quarterback ever ever again.” Double time. That’s bad. -
Would you watch a "Consolation" Bowl?

Kurt Warner breaks down the 4th down. Allen error?

Yeah it’s chess not checkers. Everything Bills is checkers compared to the Chiefs chess. Spags didn’t do it all game so what?? We ignored it come possibly happening at all on 4th&5. Over being the dumb team. -
That’s it. Who was that guy, and that team..?! Darn it!

Why moving on from McDermott is tough due to logistics

So every draft, of our two first/second rounders, generally speaking, we’re lucky to get one good player each year. Zero All Pros. Pro Bowlers..? -
Joe Brady and Aaron Kromer had a rough night
Thrivefourfive replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m back to blaming the offense! Agree with all of it! Amateur hour for this offense COOK. CANT SAY IT ENOUGH. should’ve died with him at the goal line too. Talk about wasting a player’s career. Brady just wasted a primed Cook that could’ve really busted loose. And the Bills wouldn’t have had to do anything special EXCEPT LINEUP LEGALLY! -

You have to do things! Can’t just sit there and run back McDermott every year when Reid is still there. TERRY, WE WANT IT ALL -
Has no body. His only talent was his hands. Look at him. Get him out of here asap. I’m serious, Jerry!

I’m agreeing it’s the defense. I concede But what the F was the offense doing?? They can’t play perfect, but it’s a foot!! Over and over. I get it. The stat sheet spells out that the defense is the #1 issue. I’m just completely desensitized by it now, because we have the same HC. I just scream, “Offense- you have to capitalize! The defense sucks!!!!” That’s exactly where I’m coming from. They just rushed it, like it didn’t matter. Then they fail to accomplish what they’re setting up at a gimme. The Bills always do this. Same way they completely quit(?) on 3&9 at the end. What was that??

Okay, I lied. I do see the argument. 32 points seems to be the only answer. Im saying the defense sucks, and of course they give up 32. I was kind expecting that, then I saw the weather. Bills should’ve scored 41!!!! But I see it. I just don’t know how to look to big JA17 and the offense—heart and soul—and watch them squander almost EVERYTHING, from snaps, to procedural, to not getting the team a foot. Again and again and again. I’m sensitive to being made to look like a fool in public, and the offense looked like a fool in public.

It’s a winner for the NFL. When we all commit to this.. Law, we can go about addressing it. Cannot expect to literally take points off the board and still win these games against this. All the mistakes count as 1.5 mistakes. Magnifying glass each situational mistake and go to town on fixing them? Got a TE that can’t catch. See-ya! Tough business. DE that can’t do ANYTHING against the guy he’s bred to beat. BYE. Coach isn’t ready. Later.

I’m not seeing the argument that the offense was good enough to win tonight. I actually blame the offense for not cashing in on countless opportunities to control this game. When they did anything good, they screwed it up. 21-16 is a joke. The defense bailed out the offense just as much. Other than Cook being a star, the Bills were ugly ugly ugly. Everything difficult except Cook. Lucky ass fourth down Samuel TD and a Miracle Mac Hollins catch.. (where the PI was on him if anyone). The offense was disjointed as a whole, and made routine look hard, hard look undoable without luck. Awful to have happen in this game.
