Taylor is not a franchise QB, if the ball is placed well to Goodwin then it is for big yards or a TD. The guy is just not a gamer, fans want to believe because we have not had a decent QB for years but the good ones win you games in the 4th quarter. Something he cannot do, the gameplan every game tells the story. We had 2 drives in the second quarter with 1s & 5 and end up with no first down. Please draft another QB in first round because this guy does not have it. So please stop making excuses, until he wins games in the 4th he is just another guy playing QB until we find a real franchise QB.

I agree , he has failed his teammates and the fans of Buffalo, not to mention ownership who gave him a ton of money.

The point here is not if Sammy is talented, there were many other WR'S available. I am not blaming him for Sammy's health issues but this team was not set at QB and he goes all in for WR in a drafted that was loaded with WR talent. Now this year our first round pick was damaged goods before even being drafted.

This guy is a joke for GM and his moves or lack of them are franchise killers, drafting a player with a #1 pick (Shaq) that was damaged goods before the draft. Drafting EJ and then throwing away picks to get Sammy in a draft that was loaded with WR talent. Hey Sammy may be a great player someday but we could have really used those picks and still got ourselves a very good WR. The depth at WR even before Sammy was injured was just not good enough . Was it not Whaley who said EJ had the "it" factor? The guy needs to shown the door and bring in someone with experience who clearly understands that you need a QB to win in this league. Is anyone happy with the contract he handed Taylor after just one decent season? but hey Rex said we won the offseason with all of Whaley's great moves.

Right i only wish we had him as our problem, maybe they will accept EJ in a even one for one trade. Perhaps they could throw in a couple of first round picks for EJ, at least Steve Tasker thinks so.

Right and these type of medicore performances continue then perhaps no team will be interested. I just need to see more big plays and this includes knocking down passes and tackles for losses. Yes a few interceptions are required if you expect big money.

So why pay a sloppy & sometimes lazy corner elite level money? Do you hear fans or media call Patrick Peterson lazy? If he were asking for 7-8 millon then ok and pay him but 12-14 mill is not happening for what he produces on the field. We are too thin at other positions to waste that much dough on a corner that takes plays off. A agree, but Fitzs was getting the ball out quick. Corners or least the great ones will make a play of two in those situations.

Are you talking about the bubble screen where more effort could have resulted in tackle behind the line or no gain?

Some team will pay him more then he is worth, i just hope it is not the Bills. We would be better served using that money to sign free agents to upgrade WR & DE/LB or even a play making safety.

What big plays has he made over his career that have changed games? the is a good corner but not elite which he and his agent think he should paid like. Byrd was more of big play maker and we let him go, Gilmore looks robotic at times. Teams that pay players that kind of money require big plays, he had many opportunities to make plays on Thursday night and failed.

Can anyone really say this guy is worth the kind of money he and his agent thinks he should receive? Top corners make big plays and that does mean making tackles 30-40 yards down the field after you give-up a huge pass play. Gilmore does not seem to be an elite lock down corner that other teams are afraid of attacking. The first drive against the Jets on Thursday night was a game changer (8 min drive) and he could have got us off the field on their first 3rd down opportunity. Quincy Enunwa is the Jets #3 WR and he burned him. Great corners make a play on that ball or ones that want to paid 12-15 millon a season. I would prefer to use that kind of money on free agent pass rushing LB or DE.

I still remember Fitz outrunning our Lorenzo Alexander to get a seven yard gain, this roster is garbage and the Jets showed that. I cannot wait for Whaley to be fired, drafting EJ and trading picks for Sammy have killed this franchise. Really... our WR position after Sammy who he gave a boat load to get is garabge. Robert Woods as # 2 and our LB'S are a bunch of street bums. Very few play makers on defense this season and it showed Thursday.
