You’re right. It’s a problem both sides have. And in the bigger picture those 2 points probably merge into one as she’s tied to the current administration. Too much focus was on a smear campaign of Trump and not on the politics party, it’s ideologies and voters who can be swayed. They should have cut ties to Biden’s administration as representation because realistically, that’s what you’re voting for. Biden part 2. So essentially, you are right. The candidate was the bigger factor. To the point about those coworkers of mine, that was the sole reason they switched party vote. Hope the future is good to us all. Every citizen and resident of this country. Independent, Democrat or Republican.

Disagree man. They portrayed him as a criminal and swayed the minds of most fence voters. It didn’t work. People saw it didn’t work and supported a guy who was dragged through the mud. This morning, 7 people I work with who have been lifelong democrats admitted to switching party and balloting for Trump. The Democratic Party have no one to blame but themselves. 1. For choosing the wrong candidate to represent them in the election. 2. Going all out via the media and justice department to bring him down. Their end game was their own demise. I personally believe point 2 was the biggest factor in their failure. They were the banker in monopoly, skimming money, hotels and houses to themselves when no one was looking and still lost.

Just curious. Whether that statement turns out to be right or wrong, why is the majority been comfortable supporting the sitting president? That guy is the essence of what you said and has been for at least the past 3 years!

If you remove the preferences you have, I don’t know how you can’t give credit to what he’s achieved. Enduring and prevailing over the constant onslaught of personal and character attacks through media for 8 years and the personal use of the justice department in the hope of preventing him being in a position to take office. That resiliency I don’t think you’ll ever see in a presidential candidate ever again. Fair play.

The same narrative as 8 years ago. You’ll be fine. The country will be fine. The world isn’t going to collapse. You just didn’t get what you wanted. That’s it.

That Portnoy guy hit the nail on its head. That democratic campaign and their candidate chose to alienate a large portion of the populous. The chose the wrong candidate. Easily. Like Portnoy said their “arrogance and moral superiority” was what lost them this. She worked hand in hand with a lot of the failings within Biden and his cabinet; foreign policy and voting rights. Should have gone with someone who wasn’t part of the current administration and I feel so many of the fence voters might have gone blue. Whatever your political alignment, if you can’t accept the results of him winning literally every facet of this election race, I don’t know what to tell you. What’s even sadder is the excuses are being churned out as it is. And the majority of them seem to be a direct attack or insult toward anyone who voted or sided with Trump. Sad, when that was the common core narrative about him and his party in the final months; he’s a threat, a danger and an attack on the very people of this country. Very curious as to what’s going to take place with her and that administration in these final months.

All trades completed - highest trade was a 3rd round pick

Those 2 pickups for Pittsburgh could turn into gold for them. Good additions for their squad. I understood your point; teams were more willing to trade players than give away the assets are projected/requested value. -

Shapiro would have been a better choice for representation. They dropped the ball on that choice big time. Went for the minority aspect via her race and gender imo. -

Thanks. I switched to BBC News as I’m trying to find a relatively unbiased coverage of the results. On top of that they’re doing a good job at getting people from both campaign parties to talk on topics the believe reflect the interests of their voters. -

Kansas City/Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football
Sojourner replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Please, list the late calls that have gone against them. No one is suggesting they aren’t a penalized team since then. They’re middle of the pack. 10th overall. Since 2020, the following season since their first Super Bowl under Reid/Mahomes, they are 16th for penalties. So yeah, get the stats that back up the calls don’t go against them when the game actually matters. Not saying you’re wrong just that if it is indeed a “narrative” that is fans have against them then it should be easy to prove. Not to rehash this but honestly man, if you watch any chiefs game Taylor is moving before the snap over half of the time. It’s rarely if ever called. The fact that I watched the relay of the MNF game and Joe Buck was amazed how they didn’t throw the flag says more than alleged narratives. -

Weird how they were willing to give up on Mingo so quickly. It’s not like they have outside Legette now that Johnson got traded. Hope it works out for him, quite liked him @ Ole Miss and was hoping we would have drafted him around the 4th. 2nd round seemed a little early for him. -
1 hour left and there isn’t even any concrete speculation. This is the team for the year by the looks of things.

That’s right. Remembered it incorrectly. Just did some reading, the report is he shot down the Panthers for an interview and declined the Washington job like you said. There’s more reports that the Seahawks is a job he declined to take also. The report was he notified several players during SB week that they had “unfinished business” and that he’d be returning.

Joe Buck, for all the ball washing him and Aikman do, actually referenced it twice. Right after the play and during the relay. He was amazed that Taylor didn’t get called. When these announcers call it out it’s a serious problem. I’ve not seen a guy, for multiple seasons now, move from his stance or line up incorrectly as much as Taylor has. It’s like it’s such an egregious problem with him that they refuse to call it as it’s “just the norm’…” It takes it away from the game. That opening game; Chiefs/Ravens tells you all you need to know. That first week they were calling those illegal formation & false start penalties left and right. Especially the kickoff game. I, personally, feel the league stepped in a said to the NFLRA to dial it back as not to “ruin” the on-field product. -
Yeah but a lot of space can be had regarding Von. Both pre and post June 1. I don’t see him being on the team next season unless he is a monster the rest of the year.

That’s the only thing that I really have a problem with whenever I watch that team play. How they don’t call that false start on Taylor on the play to Kelce is mind boggling. Are they a good team? Yes. Absolutely. But the amount of calls that get missed in key moments is absurd. The calls in defining moments rarely if ever go against them but frequently and more often than not go for them. The Worthy catch early in the game was called good initially but on the replay both of his feet were out of bounds. It might have been close but come on…. -
