  1. I take Reed personally but Moulds and him are in the same ball park. You give #80 a QB the quality of 12 his career and the answer might be different. The “sky on your planet” makes it sound as though its a laughable comparison 😕
  2. Great point. Might be a move with more foresight. Maybe Spencer isn’t playing this week in their minds?
  3. Great question. Even better if we can factor the other 2 from that ‘83 draft. That’s another thread though. Very tough where to place him. I can see how one can make an argument for anywhere between 3-10. The only 2 he doesn’t go ahead of are Mahomes and Josh. Personally, I put him in that 4-7 range. The third place goes to Burrow/Lamar.
  4. To-hill or not Toohill. That is the question.
  5. I honestly thought he was going to fill the role Lil Dirty had. It seems like those gadgets are what they have him in mind for most but it just isn’t working. Many factors come into play but like a lot have, rightly imo, said is that there’s better players who work from that Y role. Didn’t think he’d get 1k but 5-700 yards and a few tds was a reasonable expectation. Way off.
  6. I don’t what I like more. Baldy’s breakdowns or the fact he’s so reluctant to get actual footage and just records the stuff of a monitor with his phone 😂 On a serious note, his breakdowns are quality. Thanks.
  7. Well said. Bigger picture for any team who’s in that situation with that schedule… if the injury is indeed as reported, he’s not playing both games in a 4 day window well. Wentz this first game then Mahomes Christmas Day against Pittsburgh if need be. Whilst I hope they don’t lol, giving Mahomes the extra rest whilst having a litmus test for Wentz and the team is the smarter scenario for them
  8. Good points on the NFC teams. Detroit were a concern until they’ve lost Montgomery, McNeil and possible Carlton Davis for the rest of the year. Green Bay are in a similar position to Minnesota imo. They’ll go as far as their QB will take them. Love is definitely a star in this league but he seems to be very erratic. Solid defense for both teams that can force you into mistakes and short fields for their offenses. Darnold, and I love the comeback story, is being bailed out by Son&Son routinely. The catches one or both re making week in, week out is nothing short of spectacular. Can’t be reliant on that for potential 4 games that are win or go home. Philly is a concern, Hurts and the Eagles, to me, are a poor man’s Lamar and the Ravens. They’ve got an absolute unit @ RB in Saquon, who I feel is above Henry given the age and pass catching ability. More dynamic. Can run around or through you. When they’ve got the ground game rolling and can hit you with play action, you’re in trouble. At that moment Hurts is just as good as Lamar and sometimes even Mahomes or Josh. He just doesn’t have the consistently. The Eagles defense is the topper though. That unit is top notch. They can stop the run and pass very well. Best in the league @ pass defense, top 5 for run defense and joint first in ppg. They’re decent for sacks and turnovers but not great. Something that makes the defensive rankings for yards and points even better imo.
  9. Denver. He was then running around like a maniac celebrating after the blocked FG. 😂
  10. Last year was indeed a very average year and incredible games? Might only be one. That was the 5 against Miami. Thing about Lamar is he’s a very efficient QB when you have him playing the system they run. He’s had 4 pretty solid games this year but they’ve come against teams that, like you said for last year are the same this year poor quality or have had multiple games where they’ve been that level across the board. Cinci x2 Tampa NYG Even more so this year, when you deep dive into the stats. When Lamar is being put in a situation to pass more than 25 times the Ravens have lost. There’s 2 games over that number in which they won. And that’s 2 of those referenced above. Both Cincinnati, and we know how horrendous they are as a defensive unit lol Again, I give Lamar a lot of credit. He’s a menace but the team doesn’t appear to be winning games when he’s having to sling it. People say KC showed everyone how to shut them down in the AFCC last year. I disagree. Baltimore showed you themselves how to beat them. They abandoned their running game, even with Lamar, and had him out there as a predominately passing QB.
  11. You’re right, he hasn’t but both of their careers are heftily littered with 4 and 3 passing TDs a game. The point is eyebrows were raised because they claimed him to be “the first ever” to produce that stat line. The context of it being in the regular season only wasn’t, foolishly on their part, provided. I’ll give credit to Lamar, he’s one of the best in the league. It’s just hilarious that they throw a statistical grouping/metric to showcase a one-of-one. The playoffs matter. More so. You’re playing the top teams in the conference/league. Now, 5TDs is still 5TDs and a hell of an accomplishment and he has quite a few for a runner. The even crazier thing is the games he’s thrown 5 in, six total, it’s super efficient. They’re all in the 20-25 passing attempt range. That’s a lot 1/5 to a 1/4 of all passes are a touchdown.
  12. Fair play man, I see the majority just want to lump it on a guy who, having watched the game twice and the all-22 did give up some plays but honestly, he was the best player in the secondary. Couple that with him being out of favor and only called upon to duty due to injury against one of the most efficient and productive passing teams I definitely feel he played well. Taron gave up a lot of plays during the first half. The second half? Was pretty much all the LBs. Especially when Spector came in during the 3rd to the finish. Him and Bernard were worse than the DBs. St. Brown finished with 193 yards & 1 TD. He had that TD on a 66 yarder in the end of the 3rd. After that? He had a total of 28 yards. They went back to the middle of the field pretty much every drive after that TD. The responsibility on that TD? 58/43/39/24. Right down the middle of the field. He’s a whipping boy who, for whatever reason, some refuse to give a tip of the hat or acknowledgment to. We can agree to disagree.
  13. What’s even more hilarious is both Josh and Lamar were 21/25. 84% completion & 5TDs Lamar? 290 passing. 65 rushing. Josh? 308 passing. 66 rushing. Difference? Superman did his in the playoffs. Then proceeded to follow it up with another magical performance in another win or go home game. I doubt Lamar puts up a stat line against Pittsburgh of at least 73% 329yards 4td 0int, 68 rushing
  14. Wait. Where did all of Chicago’s timeouts go?!?
  15. Yeah. TJ Graham. Actually give him props for making it to the opposing EZ. He was obviously the designated target but had a guy jumping all over his back and riding him into the dirt 😂
  16. LMAO https://www.buffalobills.com/video/wk-9-can-t-miss-play-100-yard-pick-six-11715906 just watched it again. JFC. Sean Smith is literally standing there. In a red jersey. You’re looking to throw to the white shirts Jeff. He’s even doing like a sprint race on the return, facing the opposite EZ running like Forest Gump. The replay is phenomenally worse. Stevie absolutely cooks the DB, hand up immediately with no one around him. 3 yards from where SJ is, was the DB he cooked. Standing absolutely still and gets a ball literally thrown to him 😂
  17. lol Tuel, all day. JJ Watt was a 3x DPOY. That, if I remember correctly was just a heck of a play by JJ to cut the lane on the hot read to the back.
  18. Man. That Tuel time goal line play to the house against KC is still as traumatic. 😔
  19. No one is suggesting benching a healthy Douglas for Elam. Not for a second. And I don’t understand, if you go game for game, how you’re putting Elam’s play on par with Rasul. His outing against the Rams was rough but Elam’s against the Lions was just as bad? You lost me there bro. He gave up some catches to St. Brown but they weren’t back breakers. There was actually a few absolutely solid coverages he played, specifically on an out route. Now granted on that catch it was a conversion on the 4th down but he played it very well. Just a heck of a throw by Goff. That’s all the excuses I heard for the secondary last week; “They played their best game” “absolute elite WR”. St. Brown is on par with Puka. I can’t stress this enough, I’m not the biggest fan of Elam but I am a fan of every player on this team. The fact the narrative is he played awful when he really didn’t is insane. The guy was in spot duty from the doghouse and stepped up to the plate.
  20. Coaching has played a part in Darnold’s turn around but I think the fact he has an absolute dawg @ the X and a stud up and comer @ the Z is what’s giving him the confidence to let half of these throws rip.
  21. That’s his M.O. I bought into the Caleb hype. Really thought he was going to get that team to at least 9 wins on the year. Way off. Tragic part is he’s like so many high drafted QBs before him, the talent to make the majority of throws is there they just aren’t capable for whatever reason. Caleb is 100% processing. You can tell he still has the confidence in his own ability as does his team he is just second guessing everything he sees. Even when he doesn’t, the easy throws are rushed, off target or dangerously forced.
  22. Agree. I don’t think Odunze is the same player here as he is for Chicago.
  23. Always wonder how they go about selecting the sportswriters. Is it by traffic to their articles? Peer recognition? Even more curious as to why there isn’t any transparency who the voters select. After the winner is announced it should become public knowledge who their selections were.
  24. Yeah, been in the 15-18° range on reports. Good weather wise.
