  1. That 2014 defense was awesome. Shame we didn’t do anything with it. Williams Searcy McKelvin/Graham Gilmore Bradham Spikes Brown Hughes/Lawson Dareus Kyle Mario
  2. I can’t see that man. There’s some games in the past I’ve had reservations about being confident for but this one is different. Not because KC isn’t as dominant, which they are, but we seem to be doing just enough to keep each side of the ball going as of late. When the defense isn’t holding the offense has done well and vice versa. Last week the first half of the Baltimore game was great from both units. If we bring that same energy, production and effort I can’t see why we aren’t up at the half by multiple scores. Capitalizing on that being the case during the second half and not leaving the door open will be key. not because I doubt McD or the coaching staff but because Reid and his team are just that good in nail biter games. At least, that’s how I’m feeling. Should be a great one!
  3. Already did. Always do when we are a dog.
  4. So do I play the lottery or watch the game tomorrow? 🤔
  5. So my wife’s friend is visiting from Pittsburgh and her husband works within UPMC and knows some guys who have relationships with the Steelers organization. I asked her if we were able to stay at theirs if we make the trip and she said Dave, her husband, mentioned something that the Bills game is in serious consideration to be played in Ireland in the international series instead of Pittsburgh… Take that for what it’s worth.
  6. LMFAO Thanks for this pick me up of a laugh Yolo
  7. Same with the Browns and HB Field. Great location to get in and out of and not reliant on price gouging parking. Scenes are awesome too if you want to wander around before the game kicks off. Candlestick Park was the same as Cleveland in that retrospect.
  8. Bobby Bland stadium it is!
  9. Think Coleman is going to show up this game too. Well, hopefully lol Coleman & Ed. Think Ed causes a couple of sacks. We grab 3 in total, 1 for himself. 1 for Groot, 1 for Von.
  10. Tony Dungy got some experience guidance. Chuck Noll and Bill Walsh? Crazy
  11. Yeah, I saw which is why I deleted that. So it really is just the Saints and Pats. Wild.
  12. Well… his dad is dating his dream girl and got him an NFL gig. He’s at least got those 2 things for him.
  13. Patriots & Saints the only teams not represented in that tree. 93.75% of all teams. Really is the old boys network
  14. Can’t disagree. A few people said he was done earlier on in the year, others said he was saving himself for the playoffs. Definitely reverted to previous years against Houston, hopefully he’s taken out of the game again.
  15. Anyone else concerned with which Rasul Douglas is going to show up?
  16. Adding Randy Moss was insane. As much as I dislike that team, I hand them to it on that. 23 TDs is nuts on a season.
  17. Amazing?! I question Joesph Curtis’ life choices.
  18. We having grilled cheese with it too?!?
  19. No right or wrong answer imo. If he plays it safe, I get it. Avoiding another potential OT loss to the same team but in a bigger game? Going for 2 is perfectly fine.
  20. I have no idea definitively but they speculation from most journalists in the NFL circles is that the Raiders and Russ is something to keep an eye on. I don’t think it was specifically the relationship with Pete as to why he wanted out but rather that he felt Seattle wasn’t heading in the direction to facilitate he long term goals. Either way, Russ ain’t it lol No clue. His awareness is atrocious in that pocket now. Most Steeler games I caught he was literally rolling or moving into pressure lol
  21. Probably worse if you’re Pittsburgh, he was on Pat McAfee’s podcast where he suggested that contract negotiations are in place for him to return. Raiders fans after the Carroll hire have to be praying for those 2 teams to make the move and not them lol
  22. I’m actually surprised how well Thuney has played for them at LT. it’s definitely taken a hit to their interior blocking but schematics you can help Caliendo out with Humphrey. Either way the point about Groot/Von/Ed is on the money. That’s how you win the majority of games defensively of course. Have to make Mahomes unsettled back there and in a position where he feels forced to win the game. Allowing him and that team to dictate what’s happening never bodes well for the opponent they’re facing. LBs are fine imo. Safety is the bigger question. What do they do with Bishop/Hamlin? Hopefully Damar, even though he’s better around the LOS, should be the MOF. Bishop’s sometimes far too late at diagnosing and seems to be reliant on the athleticism. Think that could fare better in the middle and underneath game in sniffing out some of the stuff they run.
  23. Agreed. Nothing is guaranteed and those jobs come scarcely for a lot of guys. If you’ve had quality success in the position prior to HC gig or candidacy there’s no reason it can’t be a fall back option unless your style is severely outdated. Brady, as much as it would suck for continuity, should take any HC job offered to him without hesitation.
  24. He was on a 1 year prove it deal for the Saints and didn’t do too bad on a reduced role (63%) of the snaps. Definitely earned a contract that keeps him at a team for a couple years, question is price. Is it going to be a large one? No. But it’ll probably be out of our price range. The one year prove it was probably the best chance we had, given his sacks, TFLs and pressures, he definitely proved he has value in the right system.
  25. Sounds delicious as away Spikes, what’s the flavor profile? You using white oak, cherry or hickory for the smoke? Guessing it’s going to be traditional KC BBQ sauce?
