Giants are not trading for him, that’s for sure. That team is absolutely saturated with DB’s on their roster and PS. The ones on the roster are the same level or better than Elam. Out of your options listed the only 2 that would be worth getting rid of our depth would be Simmons or Matthieu.

One thing I liked about this kid was even though he didn’t play he was extremely active in the community. Best of wishes to the dude, hopefully he lands somewhere he can play instead of going onto a PS.

Good points. I had hopes for SVPG and Bishop but honestly, McGovern is doing a solid job at the position and Hamlin is doing better than Bishop has shown he’s capable of so far. No need to throw them in now when things are at a playable or good state. What’s up with Carter though? Have they given any timeframe as to when he is going to be back after the surgery? I thought he slotted in nicely to the rotational role he’s been given and did well in the Houston & Tennessee outings.

Well yeah lol But the response to my post was “NFL coaches don’t give a **** what a former punter says” I just wondered if it played a part for conversations to be had as again, he’s friends with Irsay and maintains a relationship with him. The team owner is also an open fan of the podcast/show.
