The bolded are games they lost by more than 10 points. Both starting tackles out is the only reason I’m hesitant to believe we win. First time in a while I’ve got little confidence for our boys going into a game. 23-16 Steelers 😔

Fair. Don’t think he was personally but on the border of those top 5. Top 10 for sure. To me, his play in the NFCC and Super Bowl were indeed Top 5 level play. I thought after that brutal showing against the Rams they would have some problems against the Redskins if not the Chiefs. They won both of those games effortlessly. Saquon and Hurts combo for the NFCC and pretty much all Jalen in the SB. Both Superbowls he was the best player on the field. 4 turnovers in his 9 playoff games. 2 turnovers in the last 8.

Going to be a tough watch. Don’t think the Steelers are a monster given Watt, Highsmith and Herbig are not playing lights out nor are they playing on the Anderson/Hunter level but without both starting offensive tackles, it might be an extremely tough day. Not saying we don’t have a chance but this is going to be a game they realistically have to execute flawlessly on offense to walk away with a win @ Heinz field. This, to me, is going to showcase whether or not Brady can cut the mustard or should be gone next year. A real litmus test for how he’s able to scheme.

Exactly. You can shed money and bad contracts or players who aren’t performing well. Can’t get a likely HoF QB.

Was it contract orientated disgruntlement? I’d venture it was more the lack of use. There was some games he was an afterthought which is peculiar because all they did was swapped Pickens for DK and seem to funnel all the WR production through him. Was Tomlin proving a point and letting him know he isn’t bigger than the team? Probably and he might be right to do that. But when you have a guy of Pickens’ talents I would venture to try and have him the absolute focal point. Especially if it means “his head is screwed on”. Pickens will get the bag whatever happens. He’s either playing on the Franchise Tag like Rapoport has alluded Jerry has said or he’s tagged and traded like Frank Clark from recent years who was handed the bag after the trade. Pickens may be a head case but he’s got undeniable talent. Elite even.

Dude switched out Meyers for McPherson in our big money league. Thought that was weird given Meyers is the #1 in scoring. Looks like he may get that last place if his team doesn’t collapse. Guy he was playing had Gibbs and St. Brown; 11.6 combined.

Definitely with you on not counting out Mahomes and that team but I’m curious why you think the Texans are a definite win? Their offense has been abysmal and if they figure things out they are a serious problem with that defense.

Talk on the radio was that Dallas have apparently informed Pickens they are going to franchise tag him if they can’t work out a deal. Believe they said that was reported by Ian Rapoport? Dont think he changes team unless someone gives up at least a second rounder but I would bet if someone really wants his services, a first rounder isn’t unfathomable.

Didn’t think it would be that high due to the amount of divisional games Jags, Colts and Texans have between each other. Jags or Texans could leap frog the Colts depending how things go with the Colts, if that happened, would presumably still be in one of the Wild Card slots. Couple that with the Chiefs still having to play the Texans, Broncos and Chargers I would expect 30% or <. Saving grace for the Chiefs is they okay the Raiders and Titans… that should be 2 wins guaranteed.

Oh Definitley, I’m aware he’s forking out some cash. Was a bit in jest in terms of the peanuts comment. I did however watch a guy on YT who’s an expert on pro sports stadium builds and highlighted Highmark 2 is the worst he’s ever seen. Take that for what it’s worth.

I might be wrong but I’m not putting him above Jerry Hughes. Certainly not Mario Williams. Other than them, yes. He is the better we’ve had since them. In fact, I’d actually put him on par with the Lorax for edge players.
