It is concerning but Moore was in a less crowded room and wasn’t contending for a lot of catches. Palmer the same, guys were often injured for the Chargers forcing them to lean on him. I will say, it isn’t Josh where the issues lay for me in terms of the production. It’s just that there isn’t anyone that great who they can lean on to step up. I think that’s what you saw with the propensity to force the ball Keon’s way after week 1. He made some great plays, looked like it might come together then couldn’t live up to the billing. I think Palmer could be a low end one on this team like you saw with Meyers with the Raiders. That isn’t to say Palmer is a number one by any means but he certainly has show the capability to be more involved and schemed in the passing game than he has. Maybe instead of getting everyone involved they key in on someone else other than Shakir whilst Kincaid is out. It hasn’t been working other than the broken tackle for the 60/70 yard TD a few games back and then the hook and ladder we just saw.

Yeah I saw that, was just saying that’s the only ones I go by. The narrative of Josh whilst refusing to highlight the post season when it’s absolutely on the line is head scratching. The biggest moments carry more weight and Josh is certainly almost in a league of his own in the playoffs.

Only stats I refer to for comparison is the guys playing in the league at the same time. Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow, Herbert, Hurts etc. Not to say the stat comparisons against the greats aren’t worth anything but it’s a different game, different standards and a lot of better athletes.

Penix actually improves the team even if he isn’t getting the job done. London is a more productive guy. Bijan more productive in the passing game also. Disagree but that’s down to personal preference. I can see someone making the argument for Seattle and it not being wrong. I will say, it is a divisional game and for some reason when LA went up 14-3 then 14-6 they barely ran the football from that 2nd quarter onward. In fact, all their drives from the 2nd quarter onward were all 5 plays or less… Bear in mind too their first drive was inside the opponents 10 yard line and the failed to convert a 4th & 1.

A lot of players who became starters, were decent in their role but have been unable to repeat or sustain what was putting the team at the top of the league or earning them a contract. Turnovers and unfortunate and sub par play calling on crucial downs and moments is the two biggest issues. At least to me.

If Carolina can pull it off tomorrow on MNF, they’ll be atop the division. Crazy. Didn’t see that after they were in 1-3 going into week 5.
