  1. That offense has let the defense down epically.
  2. The Texans offense becoming pretty sad to watch.
  3. How do you miss that tripping lol Dude was like a starfish next to Baker.
  4. Credit to #38 and #27 for the Lions. Whiteside has barely played in the league, didn’t play at all last year and is rolling in his first start. Maulet a journeyman CB who’s only appeared in 3 games for Baltimore last year. Coaching on point
  5. Penei Sewell… What a club to the defender on that pass to Gibbs then is upfield. Stud.
  6. As amazing as the Titans, Jets and Cards???
  7. Montgomery is no slouch but I never understand why they don’t just feed Gibbs.
  8. Their season is done. No point adding anyone to try and win games. They should ride it out and secure as high a draft pick as they can for the chance to turn their franchise around.
  9. Sadly I read the same things leading up to the Saints, Patriots and Falcons games.
  10. That collapse was all on Bowen and the litter of quality players the Giants have on defense. Not to mention McAtamey who missed the XP. Nothing at all to do with a guy whose only deal is the offense. A rookie QB and orchestrated a potential game winning drive leaving the opponent with 37 seconds and no timesouts…
  11. Not a fan of Fields at all but they knew what they were getting; a guy who can make plays in the air but has his limitations. Some of the shortcomings have to go to coaching and not entirely the player when they’ve shown flashes through the time given. Steichen and O’Connell have turned Daniel Jones and Sam Darnold’s careers around. Both were written off not far from how Fields has been. Now, they’re better passers of the ball but are night and day where they were from their respective starts in the league. At the very least it’s 50/50 coaching/player.
  12. Can’t disagree with that. It is something to have a top 3 defense for three out of his final four seasons here though. In 2024, 10 of our top 17 contracts were defensive players and 2 of our top 3 draft picks to that side of the ball. This year, 10 out of our top 18 are defenders with 7 of our 9 total draft picks going to the defense. His final 2 years: 2021, 10 out of the top 17 contracts were defenders. 2 of our first 3 picks defense. 2022, 11 out of the top 18 contacts and 4 of 8 draft picks. That has more to do with Beane and Sean than it ever did Leslie imo. The defense as a whole is getting the same attention and doing less. Would be interested to see about the FA’s acquired during those 2 year windows with and without him.
  13. For sure. Once he returned from that injury he looked off and had trouble covering routes he previously had in his back pocket.
  14. Every game Josh has made plenty of audibles or adjustments at the LOS. He has that choice. Remember, the botched play to end the playoffs against the Chiefs was one that Josh changed the protection on and allowed Karlaftis to come free at him. Now, he somehow made a ridiculous throw that should have been caught by Kincaid but the problem is still there. Sometimes it’s the OC, sometimes it’s Josh. Rarely if ever did you see as many breakdowns as we have under Brady as we did under Daboll. Food for thought I guess.
  15. I know some people may not have liked Frazier but there’s a reason he landed an assistant head coach job after that amicable parting of ways after the 13 seconds debacle. Seattle has had a pretty solid defense without a marquee defender outside of Devon Witherspoon these past 2 seasons, something which he has had to have a hand in. Personally, I would have liked them to hang on to him one more season before the dismissal. That’s just me though, probably wrong and in the minority there lol
  16. If it is time to move on from Taron, does he hold any value in a trade?
  17. Dont disagree with you but he did look not terrible against Pittsburgh, Miami and Dallas for the Jets. Cowboys game for sure. But the Pittsburgh game he was competent enough for them to be leading by 2 scores at one point. He is however a prime example of a QB that is only as successful as the running game. Take that away and you stifle the whole offense. So is that solely on Fields for opening up the passing game once it’s out of reach or on Engstrand and the coaching staff?
  18. Was speaking to a guy at the diner yesterday morning during breakfast about our team and he actually mentioned Hoecht. Said he thinks he’ll be a Jerry Huges type player… a lot of pressures but not much sacks. If he’s accurate on that it surely would help but in the broader perspective, yes. I’m with you. Not holding my breath but will hope for positive additions.
  19. Well sure regarding Olave but the talk was that the Saints were trying an extension, not saying that makes him unavailable but the targets have been high (top 5?) and now the production is following suit. Seems like a vital player to keep around for Rattler or the next guy they put at the position. But like you said, the conversations Theyre having may be contingent in what happens.
  20. Keenan Allen man lol Guy never stops showing up. Broncos 😱
  21. So are Olave and Brown even uo for trade after today’s showings? 😕
  22. For sure. Theyre an impressive team, Steichen doing a great job there! Whats going on with the Broncos today? Jet lag?
  23. Will the Packers start regretting the Parson trade? Cant help but root for Jaxson Dart and Skattebo. Enjoy watching these two rookies. Pickens is a stud. Already known though.
