  1. We apparently had a cakewalk of a schedule coming into the season, now that people think the wheels are falling off it’s time to clutch at straws and find a reason they’ve been and possibly could be at the end of some losses. i am not advocating you are making an excuse in any way yourself as it is advantageous to have a bye then play but rather focus on the first point that it was a fortuitous season before week 1. Most teams play 2 and sometimes 3 opponents after their bye week or a long week due to Thursday Night Football nowadays. We got 2 of those games… so a bye week and two 11 day rests. Team just hasn’t played the football they are capable of.
  2. I don’t think people even like his broadcasting skills…
  3. Presuming the reply to a Twitter post that said “team changed plans due to injury” when the initial post being responded to said “Gabe had a setback…” ?
  4. There was a kid I went to college with who was sitting on thousands of cards in the hope they’d be a collectors item one day. Turns out he was right. Though I doubt he’s hurting for cash lol last I heard he was a trading engineer for ICM Financial… Crazier is the price of those card packs. The majority hold little chance of a quality card but sel for tens of thousands. I remember reading a story about a guy who found a 20 year old pack under a shelf in target. Bet he got a pretty sum!
  5. I just watched Cam’s take on ESPN this morning about the Patriots being “fool’s gold”. His words. Like you said, two things can be true. And probably are. This turn around is in its infancy so I don’t think it’s overly hyped given they are the most successful franchise since the turn of this century. It is however an anointment too early like you said… the heads are saying they are THE team in the AFC. Bit premature there. He alluded to the Colts being more of a sure thing than the Pats. Don’t see that either. If you’re going to question Drake Maye and his ability to perform in the playoffs when it matters, I think you easily have to apply that to the Colts and Jones. That team has a lethal ground game. Pats do not, outside the Bucs game they’ve been a very average to poor team running the ball.
  6. If we were deploying Ray Davis and had the same effect each time as we have this year it would alarming to keep the run game as focused as it is but with Cook it’s magic at any point. The Jets, Panthers and Chiefs games were moments of wow. That dude’s ability to slip past tackles is special. Whilst it’s sad to see a guy fresh off an MVP season not be as effective, he’s most dangerous with play action so you have to keep that as a bread and butter. Not to deviate this conversation off course but I’m in firm belief the award Josh received last year was because of the season prior where Lamar won. Should have been Josh in 2023 and Lamar in 2024. Anyway, you got to run the ball to keep a defense honest, also provides the guaranteed outcome of the clock continuing to tick.
  7. Well we netted TJ Sanders so we’ll see what happens there. I was a bit indifferent with Diggs being shipped off. It had obviously become a team problem and the dude rarely showed up in the playoffs. Once or twice? Sure. But your #1 guy who dominated the regular season has to make some of the catches he was missing. Can’t fire someone on that basis. Now if he ends up producing these playoffs for New England??? Yeah, it’ll be a bummer.
  8. Oh, usually it’s the doom and gloom and that we get the wrong end of the stick. My apologies for taking it literal.
  9. Not really. Davis Mills was adequate, Tennessee are horrific. If you weren’t expecting the Texans to give him the extra week of rest I don’t know what to tell you anyone lol
  10. Can’t disagree. Wonder if the strained relationship played a part? Probably not but food for thought nonetheless.
  11. So that’s why he was driving past Elbo Room after the beat down of our boys…
  12. Well for the scenario he’d be imposing, you’d have to be doing the rubbing the right way. Not him.
  13. If we are entertaining this pipe dream, I’d take a chance on an offensive minded HC No particular order: Kliff Kingsbury, Lane Kiffin or Klint Kubiak. If Kiffin comes to the NFL I would venture to say it’s the Giants job given his college QB is there. If they don’t choose any of those guys or they aren’t available, I wouldn’t mind Robert Salah. However, the minute those “players coach” lose the locker room it’s pretty much no salvageable
  14. Dugger pulled a Rapp and knocked Slay out of the Chargers game. In concussion protocol. It is only a practice squad addition I believe so maybe it won’t turn into anything. Precaution incase he can’t play?
  15. Lost in the Logue-jam of interior linemen…
  16. Heard that after they whooped the Panthers. Then after the beat us. Then heard they were going to show their true colors against Cleveland who have/had one of the best defenses in the league. Theyre 6-0 since all this “fairytale” talk about them started. They are a good team. It sucks to admit it but it’s true.
  17. Damn. No one doubled voted for wins by both Buffalo and New England on Week 15. 😮‍💨
  18. Gregg, there will 100% be a Toronto game or games down the road.. The Bills partnered with MLSE who own the Toronto Argonauts in September this year. Something is in the works there. Even Pete Guelli said he sees the team playing a future NFL game in Toronto, especially if the NFL decides to expand its international game offerings to Canada. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/toronto-argonauts-to-host-future-of-football-game-in-partnership-with-the-buffalo-bills
  19. Without a doubt. Similar to Memorial Day it’s an appreciation, respect and thank you to all you who, themselves or loved ones, have served and protected this great country through their service in the Armed Forces. May the spirit of this day remind and inspire us to live in gratitude and never forget any brave man or woman who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom. Hopefully everyone enjoys honoring this day with your loved ones who are still here after their service for this great country! God bless you all and the United States of America!
  20. He has some whacky games in the regular season. Biggest lights of the Super Bowl he’s only had 2 moments that have been poor. One, the fumble against KC in SB57 that Nick Bolton returned for a TD. He did however bounce back and completely put the team on his back after that return tied the game. Two, the deep shot to AJ Brown in SB59 that was intercepted pretty much at the goal line. Forced an unnecessary throw. Heck of a play by Bryan Cook (?). Lucky that didn’t come back to bite them as I believe the score was only 7-0 at the time. Not the biggest fan of Hurts personally, the team isn’t far off Detroit in terms of an embarrassment of riches on the offense. But come the playoffs he steps it up and is undoubtedly, other than Barkley, their best player. Saquon however was completely shut down in that SB after destroying the Rams/Packers/Commanders. So after one week of prep, it’s what we saw tonight? Half way there! 😝
  21. To be fair, the last 3 playoffs he’s played great in and elevated his play. Especially the Superbowls.
  22. That’s seemingly like a quality signing. Good business by the Bears I guess.
  23. What in the F is Siriani doing?! Lmao I can respect the call to try and ice the game but a deep shot downfield?!
  24. bahaha this guys luck continues man… dude was losing by .8 of a point… That fumble by Jacobs puts him ahead. Hope yours is as good
