Seat Prices for Old Highmark Tear Down
Sojourner replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
ok. I’ll take a guy who is a professor in economics and has an impartial book detailing the economic impact of sports facilities and franchises published over a simple claim the stadium is “cost effective”. Over 60% of the stadium is funded by the public. On top of that, it was no coincidence this was immediately pushed through when Kathy Hochul become Governor of the state. There is a significant trend in sports franchises not making the public front the majority of the cost. On average it’s around 30-35% publicly funded. Ours is the complete opposite. Around 60/40. Furthermore MetLife stadium, UBS Arena and SoFi stadium were all entirely privately financed. It can easily be done. Especially for owners or groups who are already billionaires. Cost of living has skyrocketed whilst the income doesn’t match. On top of insane price increases for most events the public/fans attend and they’re making money hand over fist. You then have all other revenue, TV deals etc They make their money back. Exponentially. But sure. It’s a great deal for the regular Joe’s to be paying the majority of -
Jets aren’t playing terrible considering they purged all their talent before the deadline. They can make a game of it. Just need Breece Hall and Tyrod to have a heck of a game.

Solid defense and things seem to go right. Their worst game of the season they barely lost; Rams. Might be also. Tough one to call. Very different situations for each of their respective teams. It actually wouldn’t surprise me if the Ravens somehow found form and hit the playoff running given there’s a good chance they win that division.

Well said and hard to argue. Though you don’t know how it would pan out. Worthy is in a friendly situation given Mahomes/Kelce/Rice and Reid as the coach. Not been that impressed with him myself. Best moments of his were the garbage time in the Super Bowl when Philly called the dogs off and the game was borderline won. Not likely he becomes the guy we would have needed him to be if he’s struggling to make it work in KC.

Week 14, Bungles v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

Alex Highsmith, like his play and would welcome him as an addition. Peyton Wilson too if he were available to replace Milano or Shaq.

Think that’s a reasonable outcome and not a bad one where we slot. Do flip Denver and New England for me personally. The Broncos have played some hit or miss football and have been escaping losses. Their remaining schedule isn’t as easy as the Pats.

Relatively decent for them. Guy has shown a propensity to produce for them, does seem t be having a down year. Whether that’s solely Lamar or not, who knows.

10 am arrival Best offsite parking recommendations?
Sojourner replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
ECC south campus, not bad walk and is only 45$. Yellow Brick parking isn’t bad, you can pre-buy and guarantee yourself a spot. Not far south from Hammers Lot, you’ll pass it if you walk to the stadium and can stop in on the tailgate there. Good luck! -
Smoking takes years of most people’s life. Proven fact. Hence the line you referenced in the original post and not the wording in totality. Also, the fact you’re saying people taking the high road over a disgusting and morally inexcusable post, whether the story is true or not, is indicative of your own self proclaimed authority. Seems you don’t “know your place” either.
