  1. I'm pretty sure they showed the replay of the play again later in the broadcast, like in the second half. That may have been when they mentioned Thomas. Not sure.
  2. This roster has potential to get real young real quick though. This is likely Kyle's last season and I wouldn't be surprised if next season is the last season for Wood, Incognito and Alexander. Throw in a ton of draft picks and I'd bet our average age drops quite a bit. From this season to the start of the 2019 season.
  3. When was Peterman ever pushing Taylor in practice? I don't believe that ever happened. MAYBE one practice? Maybe? Now, pre-season, yes, Taylor struggled quite a bit. But so did Peterman. Taylor's struggles were against 1st string defenders. Peterman's struggles were against 3rd string and guys out of the league. Taylor has also played well 3 out of 5 games this year. And as for Turbitzky, he actually looked good in preseason, much better than Peterman. I don't see the similarities either. Especially when you look at the team records.
  4. Yikes. Further proof that we are really struggling on offense. If our defense wasn't creating so many turnovers our PPG would be dead last or very close to it.
  5. I do. This was off the assumption that we would go 2-1 through the Bengals, Bucs and Jets games. So by my own criteria the Bucs game is now a must win.
  6. You only downgrade it if we were really considering Watson. I don't believe that was the case.
  7. Why would you not factor in White? Bills were apparently going CB with their first pick along. Turns out a good one was still available with the later pick. Worked out. I still think it was a good trade despite wherever K.C,'s pick might end up. This of course assumes they did not have an eye at all on Watson or Mahomes. Because if they did and one of those guys turns out to be great then that is a huge miss. Also assuming of course that we don't end up getting our franchise guy in this draft.
  8. To be fair who the heck thought Zay would struggle this much? He has struggled so much it is becoming comical. And also, Matthews is supposed to be a huge part of our receiving threat. Just like when Sammy would be out, when Matthews is out we are going to feel it. Apparently statistics lie because Zay has easily had 4 drops by himself before today.
  9. They went 6-10 in back to back seasons. So not so good would be your answer.
  10. Really? I recall at least two. One from Zay and one from Clay.
  11. 2011 was probably the worst before this group they were lead by Stevie but after that you had: David Nelson Donald Jones Roscoe Parrish Brad Smith and some dude named Dereck Hagan who i do not recall at all 2012 was probably equally as bad too
  12. No way in heck McD or McBeane are giving up on the season at 3-2 in a three way tie for the division. Look at the state of the conference right now. Bills hold a key tie-breaker over Denver already. Despite the loss today we have a really good shot at the postseason. My only reason not to is Peterman fools the front office into passing on a QB next draft. If I don't even want to take the chance of that happening it's best to just keep him on the bench. Evaluate Peterman in next years training camp and pre-season.
  13. No matter what we have to take a QB in the first round next year. So getting an assessment on Peterman is not that critical. It's not like we are going to find out Peterman is good enough to pass on a QB in the next draft. At least I hope they don't get fooled into thinking that should he come in and look good in a few games late in the season. They can still get their assessment of Peteman all training camp and preseason next year.
  14. Good point. I'm guessing it has to do with Rodgers and Smith being much more athletic. They definitely look like they have a lot more left in the tank than the three from the 2004 draft.
  15. Very true. I remember thinking the same thing when we switched from Bledsoe to Losman.
  16. Cowboys losing does nothing for me. On the other hand it was nice to see the Raiders, Steelers and Titans lose.
  17. He has two. But yeah, I would also expect more turnovers with Peterman.
  18. If our receiving core wasn't so thin I think we would seriously consider demoting Zay to our #4 receiver. Zay now has only 5 receptions on 23 targets. Pretty much nothing good ever happens when we target him. It's probably not ALL on Zay, but still we are shooting ourselves in the foot every time we target him. You got to believe that targeting another player would have better results.
  19. Great another team to worry about drafting a franchise QB next draft. It will be comical watching the Giants, Chargers and Steelers replace their franchise QB's with new ones before the Bills have found one since Kelly retired.
  20. Are you trying to say Peterman could do the same should Turbitzky look good? Turbitzky was a first round prospect. Peterman never was. Turbitzky looked good in the pre-season. Peterman looked average at best for a rookie and that was mostly against third stringers and guys currently not on rosters.
  21. You mean beating teams like the Broncos who will likely be a bigger threat for the wild card then the Bengals? Do you think Peterman puts up the best QB rating against a Broncos defense in four years like Taylor did? We were never going 12-0 in conference. RELAX.
  22. In the process we trust. We couldn't even keep track of the number of bad personnel decisions made in the off-season and pre-season. But here we are at 3-1 coming off our biggest back to back wins since the drought started.
  23. i agree with your overall post but scumbag is a little harsh no? Sammy might not have been the best team player. May have gotten in a twitter feud with fans. But scumbag?
  24. After last weeks game I am already expecting a playoff birth this season. Should we believe that they will deliver? Get back to me after the result of this next game. Pretty much. With the way our secondary is playing I'd say they are better than all three of those teams. And two of those teams are known to have really good secondaries so that says a lot about our own through 4 games. And of course Hughes, Lawson and Williams have been playing at a high level up front. This is basically the same for the Patriots they just throw more overall. White leads the Pats in receptions and Gronk would in all likelihood be #2 in receptions and #1 in yards for the Patriots if he didn't miss the last game. Still early in the season but so far signs point to the bar being low. Lot's of inconsistent play in the AFC. Could be a 9-7 record gets a team in. Plus we already hold the tiebreaker over Denver which is a huge plus since they would be our number one competition for a wild card at this point.
