  1. That is how I saw it too. That would mean you are still putting a good amount of pressure on the throat/adams apple area. Doesn't seem like something that should be legal even if it happens by accident. But I also don't know the exact rule.
  2. Seems odd to me that putting a hand on a guys adams apple would be legal. But definitely the hand was not above the neck area for sure.
  3. Commonsense says that Tolbert would still be the #2 back with Banyard likely being the featured back.
  4. If Shady needs to stretch let him stretch. I don't want the guys hammy getting tight. Non story.
  5. This is the game we get our offense going again. The ground game in particular. Atlanta is top 10 against the run in terms or rushing yards per game. However, if you look at yards per rush they are tied for third worst in the leaguse giving up 4.8 ypr. Should also help the offense that Vic Beasley Jr. is out with injury still too.
  6. Bend but don't break! Atlanta gets one TD and we hold them to four FGs. Bills take it 22-19.
  7. And why is Alaska so cold and Hawaii so hot when they are basically in the same place on the US map?
  8. Well said. I agree. I'm happy for Tyrod. Heck, I have his jersey. And I've only ever owned two bills jersey's my entire life. Bruce Smith and his. That said, unless Tyrod has an MVP type season or leads us deep into the playoffs with quality play we are drafting his replacement next April.
  9. That's because we run stretch plays with McCoy. When those get blown up you lose yardage. We can only run Tolbert straight up the line.
  10. Defense PPG Bills #1 12.3PPG Patriots dead last 31.7 Defense YPG Bills #5 278.3 Patriots dead last 461.0
  11. I had a pretty good gut feeling we were going to pull this one off but still I was too chicken to take them in pick 'em. I was definitley still worried about the O going into the game.
  12. This. I would be concerned if we were consistently giving up 4-7 yard gains over and over. That was not the case today. They broke so few big runs that the ones they did break could have easily been on a play that Dareus was in on or even out of because he is taking a breather. Haha. And I just quoted you saying it. Didn't scroll down to your reply yet. Great minds think alike?
  13. It was a mixed bag. They were gashed I think 3 times for big runs that raised that average to 4.8 All in all though I thought it was good though because pretty much 90% of the carries went for 2 yards.
  14. I can't figure out Zay's drops issue. The dude looks like a legitimate NFL receiver to me physically. Most all of his drops have not been gimmies. But still NFL receivers are expected to make those grabs more times than not. I think maybe he just has to get used to the speed of the game. I think he'll be fine in the long run.
  15. OP started this thread last week. Kudos for the foresight because today was a big win in terms of the wild card battle should it come down to it. We are so used to the Bills losing these big in conference games. Think Oakland and Pittsburgh last year. Kansas City the last couple times we have played them.
  16. The entire AFC West outside of San Diego. Other than that, too early to really tell who else. Was about to say we could maybe win the division until Brady just threw that TD pass to Cooks.
  17. LOL. Thanks for the explanation. Didn't see it. It's funny but yeah if that doesn't fall under unsportsmanlike I'm not sure what does.
  18. McCoy is seriously special. Nobody makes something out of nothing like he does.
  19. "Siemian making another terrible decision!" Love it.
  20. That hands to the face call looked more like it was hands to the collar bone area. Or maybe throat? I'm guessing throat is still a penalty. But it could have been even a little lower than the throat. Tough call. Been some iffy calls on both sides today.
  21. Kicker bailed us out on that possession big time.
