HappyDays has been giving us injury info from a source he has for months if not longer, and he's been consistently right about them, warning us of various players and their injuries 24+ hours before the first reports come out, including the initial news on Groot's foot, McGovern's MCL issue in preseason, and more.

Hopefully still at least average. It can't be worse than the 2020 defense and that's the furthest we've gone. That unit had a horrible line, ok LB corps and good secondary

The Fins thing is just a math thing, because they are a game ahead of us in the win column and likely have an easier schedule due to finishing lower than us last year That said I don't think it's a coin flip that the 2nd best qb in the NFL makes the playoffs sitting at 3-2 with 7 very winnable games in a row

I used to hate these with a passion. But we've won some fun games in them, and seeing blue on blue every single week for a year made me hate that combo even more. So I'm cool with it, knowing it's a rarer combo

Sorry to double-ask, there is an extensive argument clogging the thread though - what level does this guy coach at? Pretty cool to have him here. @HoofHearted, how would you rank some of these guys in terms of how trustworthy their content is? Guys like Erik Turner, Joe Marino, and then league-wide; Brett Kollmann, JT O'Sullivan, if you've seen them (Obviously JT should be pretty good since he spent a decade in NFL QB rooms) I just ask because I'm dedicating a fairly significant amount of time to learning this game better and want to make sure I am getting good info when I watch stuff. It's surprisingly hard to piece together stuff you need to be able to eventually break down film like this well. I would pay a pretty large sum of money for a targeted course in this sort of thing, and daydream about how it might work often - one could set up video lessons with NFL film to show any level/type of content, and assign film as homework to break down etc. Given the popularity of these youtube channels it seems like there could be general interest/hunger for that sort of thing

I don't agree with that ranking but it's not totally outlandish in principle given how good our other players' 2023 performances and/or track records have been. That said, Jones was simply balling and is a key part of everything working right. At least Oliver continued to have a monster game without him (he disappeared without Jones sometimes last year), and we have great edge depth Kelce missed about 3 minutes of game action with his injury, that is not comparable to what people are talking about with the Bills
