  1. They truly are I am explicitly referencing the error that occurs in the tweet and which I replicate in the post, the replication is a joke because it's the exact thing I'm complaining about. Get it?
  2. I don't think Allen threw any picks in that Miami loss. He lost one fumble though
  3. Hyde and Floyd might not see a Wednesday practice all year, yeah?
  4. The things that happened between the event you are talking about and this conversation: 1.) Watson turned into a dog**** qb 2.) Hurts took 2 leaps in development to become a legitimately good (if overrated by peers) qb
  5. The only route Fields can throw with any consistency and anticipation is a hitch/curl. Almost any Jalen Hurts passing highlight from last year, you can find video of Fields cringing away from that same route concept consistently
  6. I was just having a laugh but I genuinely appreciate your help friend
  7. But the film shows Hurts making and hitting reads on every drive he plays, that make Fields triple hitch, pat the ball, and take a sack. Even accounting for the (vast) gap in quality between schemes and personnel, there is a MASSIVE gap between these two on film. Hurts has VERY GOOD mechanics and makes consistently good decisions and understands play concepts as they are called. Fields is fiendishly bad at ALL of that. You are shifting goalposts, because I"ve already said that I don't think Hurts is the second best player, I called him overrated. But he executes the position of quarterback at the NFL WELL. Yes, it's easier to do that when your team is competent, but there is film of him doing difficult stuff consistently. There is no film of Fields doing that aside from crazy jukes on linebackers (after his WRs clap their hands frustratedly while he passes them by)
  8. Fields is not trying to do too much. He is making kindergarten mistakes on high school level reads that are as wide open as you'll ever see in the NFL.
  9. Yes hello I edited an embarrassing grammar mistake I made in a post where i critiqued someone's grammar but you quoted it within the 3 seconds it took me to fix apparently so kindly change the word in your quoted post too thanks especially because you really should have quoted the original post and not mine, since your comment relates to the content of the video and not the content of my post (I'm just screwing around haha)
  10. I am very strongly bias against people who use the noun form of a word when they are looking for the adjective form
  11. I agree in general that Hurts is overrated, but the bolded is very difficult for QBs and Fields is about as inefficient as you can get at the position. Tua and Hurts are ABSOLUTELY good NFL QBs, or else there are only like 3-5 good NFL QBs, and I don't believe that. Purdy is also playing that well, just need the bigger sample size to confirm it
  12. There is a huge difference between Hurts and Fields. Fields has one of the slowest/laziest dropbacks I've ever seen. Chicago doesn't even scheme half of the field half of the time, because they know his eyes will never get there. They'll have Cole Kmet do these delayed chip and release post routes that he has no hope of getting separation on just to occupy space on the back side of the play. His footwork is among the worst in the league and the ball comes out of his hand horribly way too often. He skips reads on the most standard concepts all the time as well, which has to have coaches ripping their hair out. He freezes when guys are college-open even None of this stuff is true of Hurts to anywhere near the degree it is with Fields even if Hurts does have life on easy mode right now. Fields is so bad at dig routes/in routes, which has to be the only explanation for why he starts that play staring at a slow TE on a wheel route that started on the line while the ball is on the far hash.
  13. https://www.youtube.com/@TheQBSchool I've watched JT O'Sullivan do his QB film room on both Bears games so far. If you are bored and like that kind of stuff, start with their week 1 game and then watch this past week. Fields, his weapons, and the coordinator are all playing high school-tier ball and it's very entertaining to watch JT rip into them
  14. Is McLaurin injured? Dont think I knew that. Like Garrett, Terry's production is pretty crazy considering the cast of QBs who have thrown at him. I think Terry could round into another Diggs if he ever moved to a situation like ours. I'm not gonna say it's wrong to prefer Garrett though Part of this is how badly I wanted us to draft McLaurin that year. That school produces some crazy WRs
  15. Breece is a bit better than Robinson but I would take McLaurin-Dotson-Samuel over Wilson-Lazard-Hardman all day
  16. They profile like a better version of the Raiders, while still not being great. Weapons at RB and WR, great players on DL (not just 1), probably vulnerable behind them. Howell is still very green but actually shows some promise for them. Bills should win, and are capable of winning by a lot, but Washington is capable of keeping it close, and if the Bills don't feel like showing up, they could steal one.
  17. That crowd gasp. I hope i never see it.
  18. Is there 1 (one) competent individual on the field in Pittsburgh tonight?
  19. Yeah. I respect the team and the coach but the only thing that makes me feel fear in football right now is giving mahomes the ball in his house
  20. First counter is to be unpredictable about the snap to either neutralize the guy completely or cause an offside penalty
  21. Ben Johnson makes creative run plays behind a top 3 O Line in football. I've yet to hear anything particularly good about his pass game. And of course he has never been a head coach and is a complete unknown in that regard.
