  1. Hurts is not a better QB than Allen, and would look miserable behind our O-line (and I'm not a guy who thinks our current O-line is terrible)
  2. Big fantasy football-relevant game. Otherwise couldn't care less about these two teams.
  3. It's definitely possible for the raiders to win, but to square away the way your original post was framed I would have a hard time coming to any conclusion other than we might as well focus on the draft
  4. The jets are unique in their ability to have the horses to play that scheme every down, perfectly. If a standard NFL defense plays quarters every first and second down, those 2 yard cook runs go for 7-15 yards and they QUICKLY get out of it. There is a reason that Josh's three worst games in his last 2 years are, by far, the Jets, the Jets, and the Jets
  5. If you have no faith in the Bills at home against the raiders , I assume you're pegging them for a 3/4 win season, since most of their games are objectively tougher than this one?
  6. Are you kidding? He talked up the raiders like crazy. He said that they have the deepest receiving corps in the league because they have an all pro that didn't even have any targets (Hunter Renfrow, 2021 all pro, was bad last year and is seen as way overpaid now)
  7. Most teams who start 0-2 are bad teams with bad QBs. If you reduced the sample size to teams that have elite QBs who start 0-2 the numbers look way better im sure. That said, don't start 0-2 bills
  8. Who are some of the up-and-coming names? I know Ben Johnson makes a mean run game, I haven't heard the best things about his passing concepts. Who else is out there should we have to look for a new guy? Is Dorsey really not an elite schemer, and if so how can you tell?
  9. I'm not worked up, but it's annoying when you have a top 5 kit in the history of the game and actively choose to look terrible instead
  10. Lets*****inggoball.jpg Look elite, play elite. They already tried looking like clowns and playing like clowns, didn't work
  11. Then watch cover 1 lol, but other people do those things and so it was posted and discussed here
  12. Did anybody hear Hondo Carpenter, raiders reporter, on WGR earlier? Dude prefaced by saying he thinks the Bills are elite and the Raiders will struggle to make the playoffs, then spent 20 minutes ranting about how awesome and amazing the Raiders are, that their main flaw is that young (but awesome) players might make mistakes (that was as far as he could go in criticizing them when asked for weaknesses). It was outlandish. Not to say they can't be a good team and beat the Bills, but if we think OUR guys are homers, I was shocked at this guy hah
  13. I don't need the bills to prove they are a super bowl team in week 2. I want to see a fun team play a fun game and win. Then I want to enjoy the other week 2 games and look forward to week 3
  14. I'm worried that blue/blue is simply their default color combo now.
  15. The raiders aren't good but can play good teams very tough. Hoping we are so locked in that it doesn't matter, but it could be a battle.
  16. The entire offseason was about the Jets. All eyes were on the jets. Everyone knew it. Sure they got the air squeezed out of them for a minute, but by Q3 the stadium was as loud as it hs ever been again. The Bills have played much bigger games, and that was these Jets' first situation in a game like that
  17. There are many games where pressure flustered Brady into bad performances. The Jets might be a historically good defense. It happens. Not absolving Spencer but that was not some uniquely awful line allen played behind - in fact his pressure rate was low relative to the average for week 1 QBs. He was horrible Kinda proves his point. Dude wanted nothing to do with him ultimately and dumped him for nothing just 2 years later
  18. Not just you, just seemed like a few posters were confused about why he wouldn't have video up about what he's talking about. He did an offseason episode describing his work day/work week and there really wasn't room to put together good videos, since video editing takes a lot of time. I'm looking forward to Cover 1's film room where they will surely break down some of Allen's craziness.
  19. Joe Marino does a podcast which he also happens to post to youtube for people who only listen to it that way. That's why there aren't videos/graphics. It's a daily podcast, and sits alongside about 300 other football related things he does each week for work, including scouting hundreds of college players. That's why he doesn't have time to splice videos and make it all nice for you. But no doubt about it, the guy knows ball, you only need to listen to a few episodes to pick that up.
  20. I cringed at two hits Josh took last night, but those hits were swats with a pillow compared to what Cam regularly went through.
  21. It definitely takes effort to ground myself, remember where we are, and enjoy myself. The ecstatic incredulity that came with 2020 is long gone, and that was the MOST fun you can have watching sports (outside of winning it all). But this can still be really fun as long as I avoid certain websites/threads. To this board's credit, it's been a VERY easy read after such a crazy loss. People seem to be keeping their heads about them, balancing intelligent criticism with big-picture framing. That wasn't really present in the preseason but was glad to see it dominate today They lost the next game to a backup QB as well. They had severe issues on offense they were able to fix during the bye week. We've got a looooot of football ahead.
  22. Josh probably does not have the Bills app on his phone
  23. I am running into this issue when trying to rewatch the Bills game. Has anyone found a way around this? Holy ***** is this frustrating. I called them and they said they don't do phone support?
