  1. you're actually saying we are 3-3 playing the Jets. A team that hasn't beat a division opponent in god knows how long, and you think we've already beaten Miami...not to mention we've been bested by Cleveland in the past as well. The old saying don't count your chickens beore they've hatched has never wandered down your street. I understand the schedule is favorable in the next two weeks but come on, offensively we suck and can we stop Miami's running game, especially now that we know they'll have to run without their starting QB? Not sure i believe this weeks game is a gimme.
  2. I turn to my wife after we scored making it 24-13 and said..."this is gonna suck when we lose." Billy's a winner and winners fin a way to win. Dick's a loser and losers lose game. When have the Bills under dick, every won that game they weren't suppose to? Does Dick's team ever come through in the clutch. Losers will always lose... How many winning season does this guy have? winning starts from the top and works it way down. Watch San Diego this year... Norm's not a winner and all that talent will find a way to fail Everything comes down to coaching, as that sets the tempo, creates the atmosphere. The Bills atmosphere is always 'well, we played well but in the end, we just didn't execute." Because the coaches don't prepare the players for game situations like last night! Winners are prepared, loser aren't. The only positive...they weren't nearly as bad as I thought they'd be...but does it matter when we lose games we should have won!
  3. I said the exact same thing after Dick's first loss with Buffalo, a 21-16 loss at NE in the season open after we lead 16-7 entering the 4th. This is what happens when you hire a loser as your head coach. You find ways of losing. The buttom line is that Dick simply does not know how to win close game and therefore neither does his team. This team fold and cracks under pressure every time because their leader doesn't know how to lead! We have ALL seen this game played before....think Dallas 2 year ago, the Bills simply lose because they have no idea how to win. I am sick of being lead by a loser...fire his @$$ and hire a winner and then things will start to truly turn around.
  4. 100% correct....like he's gonna get picked higher than 10th next year? Say someone grabs him at 23 next year, he's gonna demand top 10 money? Total idiot, and his agent is just plain stupid for allowing this to occur.
  5. OK, I hate gloom and doom but I do honestly feel the Bills will be one of the, if not the, worst team in football. I'd like to say 6-10, but I can't see the blue, red and white winning that many games with a god awful O-line, an offensive that doesn't appear to be able to score and a defense that seems to bend (an awful lot). Add to that, a difficult schedule, the fact that we play in the AFC east where 2 L's to NE seem an annual right. Bills 3-13, and a good shot at the #1 overall pick I hope I am way off in other football matters... AFC Division winners: NE Pitts Indy SD wildcards: Tenn Hou NFC Division winners: Phily Chi Az NO wildcards: Atl GB SB: SD vs NO
  6. The Cardinals stadium took the moving field idea from two other stadiums. In Sapporo, Japan, their baseball stadium has that same feature and that was used the 2002 World Cup. I believe before that Vitesse in Dutch soccer opened their stadium, which also has that type of field.
  7. This kind of crap is why you trade down in the draft. What use is he really going to be after he misses half of training camp. And all this because his whimp of an agent likes to wait until the guy ahead of him signs. We lose out because Michael Egotree wants to be the highest paid WR in the draft even though he got picked 2nd. NFL, get a rookie slotting system like the NBA and end this madness
  8. Today is... my 40th birthday haven't figured out if that's depressing or not
  9. looks like a great class but how do you avoid the incredible talents of Tebow? I'm not the biggest fan because I would like to see him become a real passer but I just don't buy the fact that this kid can't make it as a QB in the NFL.
  10. Congratulations! I am expecting my third child in less than a month. A girl to round out the family of two boys. Hopefully, they will all be able to stay Bills fans for many years. best of wishes
  11. Dick Jauron's pay - at least $1.5 million annually your pay - I'll guess at two figures less and about $1.42 million in total
  12. I hate the onside kick rule change. Now you can't put more than 5 (or is it still 6) guys on any one side of the field. Onside kicks are hard enough to recover but since the rule change they have become even more difficult.
  13. #21, I would have though much lower WE HAVE NO O-LINE, WHAT-SO-EVER
  14. I always thought frank Lewis was underrated.
  15. because 1/2 the people here thnk they actually work for an NFL team and the other wish they did. Like the scouts know nothing and the head coach makes all the decisions. seriously, great draft, I get multiple DB's, last i checked, these guys get hurt a lot and you need to have plenty of options on the roster. You know one or two of these guys will end up on the practice squad. and yes, people just love to complain
  16. two more words: Done what?
  17. The Bills never trade down even though opportunities have existed. maybe they'll lucky and someone will fall allowing us to dial back a bit. hell if they were smart at all they would have insisted on Phily's #21 pick in the Peters trade, plus something better than just a 4th and 6th. The 2010 pick should have been based on how Peters performs.
  18. Isn't copying and pasting someone else work a copyright violation? Seriously, why did you need to post the entire thing. Post a link, or answer questions.
  19. If the Bills did offer 6/54m, and he said no, then there was no choice. Even though we have no idea how the deal was structured, you can be assured he was getting 30-35m in the first three years. He could have been worth it if he had sat out two weeks of camp last year as a protest and then come in and prepared to play.
  20. If you look at the Bills during the past 8-10 years, we have basically become what the Kansas City Royals are to baseball. Ya, we were once fashionable and our stadium was once considered nice but times have changed and the big money spending of others has passed us by. Just like KC, we had out glory days, when championship aspirations were the norm but today, we are merely a farm system for other teams. We draft and develop some talent, draft and misdevelop a whole lot more, and if they do become something we lose it when they want big money (see Antoine Winfield amongst others) and let other teams compete for championships, while we sit around and hope things will be better next year. Next years will eventually be a team with a brand new name, a new stadium on the drawing and a new city, while we all sit around reminiscing about Jim Kelly and the old glory days. Several years ago, we pull off an absolute coupe, signing an undrafted free agent, tight end, convert him to an O-linemen. Then we develop him into a truly talented and athletic left tackle, the Rolls-Royce of offensive linesmen, and we piss it away through cheap attitudes. The team already wasted lots of money on guys named, Kelsey, Schobel, Johnson and Williams and they can’t rush the passer but we can’t spend some on a guy who protects the passer. We screwed the future because we allowed things to fester. Last year, certainly Peters had a bad year but that was in part because he held out and wasn’t in ood football shape. By the middle of the year, we could have locked him up with a stronger deal but we waited and allowed free agency to create another landmark contract. The situation became untenable and now we have draft picks! Those picks are sure gonna help us protect an awful good looking young quarterback! Hell, now the team is screwing over another gem, in Fred Jackson. Will they ever learn to take care of their own? I was originally gonna compare us to the Milwaukee Brewers but hey they made the playoffs last year and they have a brand new, state of the art, stadium, which means they are light years ahead of us.
  21. Why? He's going to jail and I doubt he can catch a pass in their. he may catch something inside but not any passes.
  22. The new rule is fine, as long as QB have the flag belt attached at the waists. Comeone, are defenders suppose to to flag or touch football with the QB's. Maybe they should wear a special uniform, so everyone know you can't touch this guy. This is crap, strap on a jock strap and play the game.
  23. slightly over...that's like saying my wife is just a little bit pregnant. Either you are drunk or not and it's not about how how you feel. It's about the blood alcohol content and .12 is 50% above the .08 limit. Bad for him, bad for everyone
  24. If Crabtree is there, quick, get on the phone and make a trade.
  25. The only thing I can add is I'm dumbfounded I hate this guy, I was thrilled when he got cut the other day but I feared he would sign with New England. If you had given me 1000 to 1 odds on him signing with Buffalo, I would have saved the $2 and not placed the bet. I get it but I don't get it!
